tv   Watters World  FOX News  June 9, 2018 11:00pm-12:00am PDT

11:00 pm
our studio audience. i'm greg .-ellipsis and i love you, america. [cheering and applause] taking . that's fox. reporter: this saturday. jesse: welcome to "watters world." the debate over kneeling at "the national anthem" at a fever pitch. many players on the philadelphia eagles planned to boycott. president trump: we love our country, we respect our flag, and we always stand for "the national anthem." we stand to honor our military and honor our country. and to remember the fallen heros who never made it back home.
11:01 pm
we stand to show our love for on you fellow citizens and our magnificent constitution. we stand to pay tribute to the incredible americans who came before us and the heroic sacrifices they made. and we proudly stand for our glorious nation under god. jesse: while the president took the high road, cnn took the low one. accusing the president of being fake. >> this isn't about some fake patriotism and pageantry. real patriotism is about understand waght constitution means for all people. we are created equal and have the choice to stand, neil or sit or even attend a football game. jesse: i was there and i don't
11:02 pm
appreciate being lectured by don lemon on what patriotism is. but one went farther. suggesting trump is a racist. as a black athlete, you can't go. the president has demeaned the african-american players so much you can't go to the white house. jesse: two players joining me with their reaction. jason sea borne and jack scott to played for the philadelphia eagles. what do you think about the idea that black players can't go to the white house. >> i don't like a lot of the things the president says either. he pissed me off. but i have been to the white house and i will go back. you can have a conversation with president trump and hopefully
11:03 pm
we'll find a way to bridge this gap. we are all americans, we are in the same family. families fight and quarrel tbowf talk about it. jesse: i don't understand why the philadelphia eagles players didn't take the opportunity to go to the white house to have a conversation with the president. that would have been the place to do it. >> it would have been the perfect opportunity to get their message across. we have parkland shooting issues so people defend the second amendment, but they don't want to defend the first amendment. they are protesting. it's not about black-white. when he called him a racist. racism and prejudice. we can go back and forth between the two. i don't believe's a racist. what i'm thinking is the players could have had a platform no bigger than the white house to
11:04 pm
get their message across to the man himself. jesse: i think they disrespected the office of the presidency. it's not about the person who occupies the office, it's about the office itself. to showboat and say you are going to have 60 guys there and the night before say we are only going to have 6. >> i don't know the details about how that happened. it was unfortunate to find out on 6 guys were going. if you look at their leader malcolm jenkins, chris long gave up his entire year's salary to help the kids. these guys are out in the community doing good work. the fact of the matter is every single one of those guys stood up for the national anthem each and every game. so this is confusing me. i don'tstand why the philadelphia eagles ball club
11:05 pm
and donald trump aren't communicating. they agree on a lot of issues. but in front of the lights and cam rats they are going at each other. i have asked for donald trump to please bring our black athletes to the white house and let's have a conversation and let's heal this nation. jesse: that sounds like a good idea. the president offered an olive branch. here is what he said. president trump: a lot of people in the nfl in particular, but in sports leagues, they are not proud enough to stand for our national anthem. i don't like that. for the league,n if they have people, friend, or people they know about who have been treated unfairly by the system, let me know. if i find and my committee find they are unfairly treated, then we'll pardon them or at least
11:06 pm
let them out. jesse: i think that was a great idea by the president saying let's move ford in a positive way. if the kneeling deal is suppose to be police miss treatment of black americans other criminal justice system mix treating african-americans. give me an example and i will par done that individual. >> there are lots of examples. but both sides need to come together to decide what they want to get across. i don't think they have disrespect for our country or the flag. but they have chosen to protest. i spoke to military people who said they disagree with the way they are doing it. and their actual message is being lost in the way they are going about it. they said i fought for their right to do that. so they can do that. but come together so the two
11:07 pm
side can get their message across so this isn't about kneeling, it's about the social injustice of colored people in america. it's not the kneeling. jesse: i believe it's a failed protest. if no one knows what usual protesting and everyone believes you are disrespecting the flag and the anthem, then your protest has failed. if you are going to talk about social justice, do it on "watters world." do it on espn. and, jack, i don't think that was the right type or place to do that. i will give you the last word. >> you make some great points. i wish we could protest in front of the police department that let the cops off. or protest on capitol hill which a lot of players are doing. we have to come together at the end of the day. jesse, thank you for being the
11:08 pm
voice. jesse: maybe we can do a summit at the white house. here are more, counselor to the president and philadelphia native kellyanne conway. what do you tnk about bringing in athletes to the white house to have a dialogue with the president about these issues regarding kneeling and criminal justice. >> this president invited so many people to the white house, left, right and center. you see the issues we work on that are politically charged and the issues that are non-partisan. the opioid crisis and prison reform. this president pardoned folks who were asked to be pardoned by other presidents and failed to do so. he's a master negotiator and deal maker. i will tell you something not a lot of people know.
11:09 pm
when the philadelphia eagles were first going to come they requested policy time and the president said okay, we'll have policy time. and the people who requested it weren't come together white house. jesse: what's the point then? >> some people requested action they thought would never be taken. jesse: the president called their bluff and said love to talk about it. >> he didn't call their bluff, he granted their request. but that conversation could be had any time. this president just yesterday morning as he was leaving for the g-7 on the south lawn said i understand why some of these players are kneeling be they are concerned about criminal justice and social justice. and by the way, if they have any idea of people who have been treated unfairly by the justice system they should give me idea
11:10 pm
and i'll review those files and look at those cases. the -- some of thelayers that requested the policy time were not part of the smaller group who said they were coming. there were eagles players willing to come here and talk about their great work with refoact autism. the eagles raised $2.5 million for autism. some of these players and management at the eagles have personal dakotas autism. i think that -- personal connections to autism. they are willing to come forward and talk to the philadelphia eagles. so it's -- we dock that any time. some -- we can do that at any time. but some people want to have the
11:11 pm
conversations away from the white house and keep the issues alive. jess will be that's surprising that they wted policy time and backed out of it. >> that's not all the eagles. jesse: when the eagles repeat as super bowl champs, maybe they can do it. the mayor of philadelphia is a total hot dog. he said some disparaging things against the president. then a small ball judge said philadelphia city can be a sanctuary city. here is his reaction to that. >> we are a sanctuary city. jesse: how pathetic is this guy. >> philadelphia under this mayor's watch has seen an increase in homicides. they increased dramatically.
11:12 pm
the statistics showed philadelphia has the 12th highest rate in the country. also the drug use is way up. i wanted to make something very clear. there was a criminal alien in philadelphia that was released, and he forced his girlfriend into a hot oven. you have got to come up with these shocks the conscience stories. he dances about as well as he preside over the city. jesse: criminal people are putting people in ovens? >> the only problem with sanctuary cities is it doesn't get enough coverage. there is so much poison being harbored. not just the people. the criminal aliens and people like kate tine le are murdered
11:13 pm
by people who shouldn't have been here. the poison that sits in the sanctuary cities. you hear people complain you can drive it over the bored into new hampshire. sanctuary states in california, you see people pushing back against that. jesse: a lot of cities in southern california pushing back very hard. jesse: he's a joke and everybody knows it. in a few hours the president will be landing in singapore for his historic face-to-face with kim jong-un. i think he said he wasn't going the pry pair for the up it. >> i think i am very well prepared it's about attitude and willing to get things done. but i think i have been preparing for the summit for a long time. jesse: he got hit by this for
11:14 pm
people over at cnn. it's simple what we want. they have to denuclearize and we lift the sanctions. >> he also told one of those cnn reporters that she was unprepared. anyhow, when the president says i don't need to prepare, he means much more. it's through his leadership and stewardship that secretary pompeo has been over to north korea two times. and preparing for this summit. the president has been involved and talks about north korea since he got here. when he was running for president and it was president obama who told president trump north korea will be your biggest problem. it's not like he just decided yesterday to read up on north korea. he said it's not going to be one
11:15 pm
meeting it will be 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. you don't undo 70 years of war and the denuclearization of the korean peninsula in one sit-down. jesse: we caught a leaker finally. [♪]
11:16 pm
11:17 pm
11:18 pm
11:19 pm
president trump: it's very interesting they caught a leaker. i believe strongly in freedom of the press. but i am also a bleerve in classified information. it has to remain classified. and that includes comey and his band of thieves who leaked classified information all over the place. jesse: president trump reacting to the indictment of former senate intelligence committee aide james wolf, accused of lying to agents about funneling stories to reporters. one reporter in particular at the "new york times" who was sleeping with.
11:20 pm
matt gaetz is a member of the judiciary committee. it looks like this guy in the committee romantically involved with a "new york times" reporter. he's leak all sorts of classified information to her and she is sending out tweets acting like it's the trump team that's leak this stuff. you can't make it up'. >> she deserves a reward for reporting classified information. but i'm not sure classified is the term for pillow talk. there is an entire ethic here in washington. if you are going after donald trump and want to make him look bad, the ends justify the means. we have to make sure that doesn't take hold in the congress. jesse: that's not just in the swamp. that's in the media and hollywood. they will say or do anything win
11:21 pm
appropriate or illegal in order to damage this president and further the liberal agenda. and they never really have to apologize for it. they believe they have the higher ground. i am just excited sessions came out of hiding and nailed a leaker. where has he been? this is big news? >> it appears the attorney general has shifted to fully caffeinated coffee. he's actively pursuing the active work we need the justice department to pursue to stop the leak instead of cowering in the corner. >> remember the bernie became who got caught leaking classified information. it looks like we have a pattern going and hopefully jeff sessions can keep that up. i want to play some sound from your favor colleague, nancy pelosi.
11:22 pm
here is what she said when she was aed about the fantastic economy. roll it. >> hip hip hooray. our employment is down. what does that mean to me in my life? i need a bigger paycheck. it's about wages flying our country so consumer confidence is tree stored. jesse: hip hip hooray the unemployment number is down. not only is that tone deaf. wages are up 3% under this president. the fastest wage growth since 2009 and consumer confidence at its highest level in 18 years. >> capital investment is up. consumer confidence is up. as republicans we love it when nancy pelosi talks about the economy. remember her crumbs reference? when she started talking about
11:23 pm
crumbs the democrats were up you 8 or 9 on the generic ballot. so nancy, tell the american people you don't think they are confident enough. this is donald trump's economy, it's roaring. businesses relationship vesting, jobs are growing and wages are rising. jesse: you forgot one thing. she also needs to keep talking about how ms-13 gang members have a little spark of dignity inside them. >> the great defender of ms-13, nancy pelosi. i don't know if many of them will be voting for democrats. but the families across this country that want secure borders and want to make sure we are compassionate where we need to be. i'm so proud of this president and his agenda. it's one of the reasons the
11:24 pm
american people keep doing better. >> i want to get back to this fisa abuse, what you call deep state scandal, spygate. we know there were spies inserted into the trump campaign. it's been reported and confirmed by a number of people. all of a sudden your colleagues like trey gowdy and paul ryan come out and say they were briefed by the fbi and everything was done above board. do you believe them? >> i think the media has overgeneralized their comments. i have have great we expect for speaker ryan and fray gowdy. but i disagree it's ever appropriate to be in a circumstance where unelected people can collect intelligence on people in a campaign and not report it to congress. the law required they report to congress sensitive collected
11:25 pm
information and they did not do it. i want to live in a country where it, elected people making the decisions, not unelected people who are trying to settle a score. jesse: antifa running wild. we'll show you the tape next. my name is jeff sheldon, and i'm the founder of ugmonk. before shipstation it was crazy. it's great when you see a hundred orders come in, a hundred orders come in, but then you realize i've got a hundred orders i have to ship out. shipstation streamlined that wh the order data, the weights of , everything is seamlessly put into shipstation, so when we print the shipping ll everything's pretty much done. it's so much easier
11:26 pm
so now, we're ready, bring on t. shipstation. the number one ch of online sellers. go to shipstation.com/tv and get two months free.
11:27 pm
11:28 pm
11:29 pm
11:30 pm
jesse: antifa at it again. hurling bottles and throwing bunches at an event build as a patriot prayer rally. police arresting 9 people and confiscating knives and pepper spray. the journalist who covers antifa has been threatened by the group in the past. antifa back in the news.
11:31 pm
we haven't heard a lot about them in the past year. are they returning to the stage? >> they reactionary. they show up when the right organizations rallies. blue has been a lot of news about the trials going on pertain together inauguration. so there is news about antifa and the felony charges. but i don't think a lot of outlets are covering it. jesse: most of these guys can't throw punches. they don't know how to throw hand. i can't imagine anybody doing that much damage. >> in the u.k. there was an mma group training an i a to high pressure one of these rallies. one thing we have seen action from antifa overseas in the u.k. there was a viral photo of this
11:32 pm
personality named carl benjamin. antifa raided a take was giving. the antifa guy is cowering up against the wall as he's ready to throw the punch. jesse: why was thisroup being heckled here? this is a christian group holding a free speech protest? >> this was a good-bye party for one of the co-founders. they call him tiny. he's a big som samoan man. antifa calls them fastist. they are advocating small government. free speech. and they say you are fascist.
11:33 pm
if you are beating people in the street and you are accuse them of being farbist fascists and te calling for freedom, you have got your roles reversed. jesse: you got attacked just for filming. i think we have that footage. >> out. out. out. >> why? >> get the [bleep] out of here. >> do you believe what they say? that's naive. >> i'm not a tough guy. i'm a journalist. [bleep]. jesse: were you scared when he did that. >> i don't know if scared is the right word. adrenaline pumping, because that
11:34 pm
wasn't the first time they got my face. a few months ago in new york i got surrounded by people over at columbia university because i dared to film their protest. jesse: have there been serious investigations that you have been aware of by the fbi, the department of justice? are they trying to infiltrate antifa? what is law enforcement doing about the group? >> there was several hundred people arrested last january. most of of them have been acquitted or charges dispolice. the government withheld evidence, so i am not familiar with the legalese. so they had to walk back and the judge dismissed more charges. but one of the tactics they use is everyone wears the same clothes so you can't identify
11:35 pm
who they are. there is one big case that needs to be talked about more in the mainstream media. eric clam on who is accused of bashing a man over the head with a u-lock. a man on his knees with his hands up trying to stop the fighting. he sneaked under behind someone and strikes him over the head with something like a hammer. that's a kill shot on the top of the head. and the guy is covered in blood. these anti-fascist activists act like they are targeting white supremacists. then i have to ask why they are backing a man who struck a man on the back of his head while he was on his knees with a u-lock. jesse: you are a very brave man. >> thank you very the first survivor of alzheimer's disease
11:36 pm
is out there. and the alzheimer's association is going to make it happen. but we won't get there without you. visit alz.org to join the fight.
11:37 pm
11:38 pm
11:39 pm
11:40 pm
jesse: the #metoo movement finally caught up with former president bill clinton who offered this comment when asked about his affair with monica lewinsky. >> do you think differently or feel more responsibility? >> no, i felt terrible then. and i came to grips with it. >> did you ever apologize for it? >> no, yes. nobody believes i got out of this free. you are giving one side. >> i'm not trying to present a side. >> you asked if i agree i said no i don't. >> i asked if you apologized. >> i have, i apologized to everybody in the world. >> but you didn't apologize to her. >> i have not talked to her. >> do you think you owe her an
11:41 pm
apology? >> i never talked to her. jesse: to make matters worse he attempted to clean up his answer on "the late show" with stephen colbert but ended up blaming nbc for even asking the question. >> you seemed offended to be asked about this thing when in all due respect, sir, your behavior was the most of famous example of a powerful man sexually misbehaving in the workplace of my lifetime. it doesn't seem surprised the question was asked. >> i didn't like this one because it started with an assertion that i basically never apool jieds and i never tried to come to grips with it. jesse: joining me with their thoughts. diamond and silk. bill not used to getting called out for some of his misbehavior. what do you think?
11:42 pm
it's a little defensive? >> it's a new day. back then they looked at him like sugar daddy, but today we look at him as a pervert. the reason he can't apologize is he's arrogant. he thinks he has a sense of entitlement and he don't. he don't have the trite cherry pick what questions people ask him. jesse: do you feel bad for monica lewinsky after all these years? >> i feel bad for her because she has been brand and shamed while he's gone on to make millions in speeches and books. instead of doing salacious thing under that oval office desk he should have been reading nafta instead of signing that into law leaving american people without jobs. >> bill clinton's time is up. jesse: next up i want to talk to
11:43 pm
you about the melania missing controversy. a lot of people are really you -- suspicious when she had absence after her surgery. one guy from "rolling stone" says i wish i didn't suspect the prolonged absence of melania trump could be about concealing abuse. i push it was a ludicrous prospect. i wish the president of the united states wasn't a man with a history of abusing women, including those to whom he is married. and melania reappeared, and no one hit her. what do you guys think? >> these writers and so-called journalists need to be ashamed of themselves trying to get the public to bite and talk about salacious gossip. he wants to talk about abuse? let's talk about the abuse from
11:44 pm
the media and how they viciously attack our first family and the president of the united states. that's the type of abuse we want to talk about. if they want to talk about something, how about talking about the good this president is doing for this country. he's bringing back jobs. he just pardoned some people. but they don't want to talk about that because they are hung up on gossip and make up lies. pretty soon the fake news will be no news because no one will be paying them any attention. jesse: they called ivanka the c-word and then said melania had been hit and she got a facelift. next they will be saying diamond and silk aren't hilarious. >> if they say anything about us we have a comeback. jesse: i am sure you guys do. one of the most of ridiculous
11:45 pm
things we saw all week was mika brzezinski or at msnbc. here is what she said. >> i am someone who spoke to donald trump recan'tly about life -- who spoke to donald trump recently in the white house and his biggest complain is he's not allowed to watch porn in the white house. he's upset he can't walk porn in the white house. jesse: do you two even believe that? >> i don't believe anything mika says. however, mika seems like she may have an obsession with porn stars cause she keeps talking about them. this porn star is no victim. i want the media to stop treating her like she is a victim. what is this porn star going to do for the country. if mika wants to talk about
11:46 pm
something, talk about the goodness in this country instead of gossip. jesse: i think you two ladies can go on morning. joe: . >> we can and it. we'll set them straight. jesse: the party bros return to "watters world" next. boy: this is the story of a boy
11:47 pm
who was very sensitive to lights and sounds. so he built secret hiding places where nothing could get in. the boy didn't like looking people in the eye. it made him feel uncomfortable. one day, he found out he had something called autism. his family got him help. and slowly he learned how to live with it better. announcer: early intervention can make a lifetime of difference. learn the signs at autismspeaks.org.
11:48 pm
11:49 pm
11:50 pm
>> my name is chad kroeger. i'm here to speak on the newly approved budget. we need wi-fi. my green initiative. everybody gets a beer bong. a 12-foot tall steel statue of paul walker, estimated cost $50,000 to $100,000. >> drag racers can race in germany on road walled the autobahn. free oysters on valentine's day. they are an after pr -- an aphr.
11:51 pm
jesse: they are suggesting how to make lala-land a nicer place to live. i missed you guys. >> j bone we missed you. >> it makes me sentimental to hear you say that. jesse: i wanted to ask you about something happening in our nation's capital, washington, d.c. the senate majority leader mitch mcconnell says we are going to cancel august recess. no vacation, everybody get back to work. what do you think about that idea? >> i guess i have to ask what were they doing that caused mcdonnell to take away their
11:52 pm
recess privileges. >> mcconnell. jesse: i think they wnl doing anything. that's the problem. >> sometimes you need chill time to restore your working batteries. don't stretch yourself out too much. jesse: just recharge their battery and get back to work? >> yeah. jesse: you guys look like your batteries are pretty recharged. >> thank you, dude. i'm getting my sleep a lot more. jesse: the big issue in washington these days is presidential pardons. president trump pardoning a bunch of high-profile people. now he has a list of 3,000 he might pardon. even muhammad ali might get a pardon. what do you think about the buzz over pardons? >> j.t.?
11:53 pm
>> i think it depend on the number of party foul being pardoned. jesse: i agree with that. >> everyone gets a second look and ali was legit. jesse: was he one of your favorite fight officers. >> i liked sugar ray religion on because he had power in both hands. but i think ali. jesse: float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. we also miss america because of the swimsuit competition. the ladies parade around in
11:54 pm
bikinis and the judges judge them on the fist i d -- judge r physiques. do you think that's the right move for miss america? >> i'm sick of the discrimination against beach wear. if people are unhappy with the cam. they can look at themselves and not point the finger on swimsuits. teachers would get on my case about my board shorts. >> i say leave it up to the contestants. if they want to wear bathing suits, they can do that, they dock that. but if they want to wear something that covers them up, let them wear wet suits. jesse: i don't know how high
11:55 pm
they would score on the wetsuit. but i like your idea of free choice and liberty. i think that's what the founding the the fathers were all about. >> epic. jesse: all right. boys thanks for coming back. boys thanks for coming back. coming up, "last call." you won't see these folks at the post office they have businesses to run they have passions to pursue how do they avoid trips to the post office? stamps.com mail letters ship packages all the amazing services of the post office right on your computer get a 4 week trial plus $100 in extras including postage and a digital scale go to stamps.com/tv and never go to the post office again
11:56 pm
11:57 pm
11:58 pm
11:59 pm
jesse: time for "last call." there is road rage, then there is this. 40-year-old sacramento man was arrested monday after ramming his suv into an unoccupied parked car multiple times. after several minutes the dprierve got out of the car and jumped on top of the honda, break its windows. he was booked on multiple felony
12:00 am
charges. that's all for us tonight. "justice with judge jeanine" is next. i'm watters and this is my world. judge jeanine: breaking tonight. president trump hours away from landing in singapore for his historic summit with north korea's kim jong-un. welcome to justice. i'm jeanine pirro. thank you for making "justice" number one again last week. the summit that could change the course of history is just days away. tonight we are talking about it with white house deputy press secretary hogan gidley, darrell is a and mike huck we. huck -- mike huckabee.
