we stand to show our love for on you fellow citizens and our magnificent constitution. we stand to pay tribute to the incredible americans who came before us and the heroic sacrifices they made. and we proudly stand for our glorious nation under god. jesse: while the president took the high road, cnn took the low one. accusing the president of being fake. >> this isn't about some fake patriotism and pageantry. real patriotism is about understand waght constitution means for all people. we are created equal and have the choice to stand, neil or sit or even attend a football game. jesse: i was there and i don't

appreciate being lectured by don lemon on what patriotism is. but one went farther. suggesting trump is a racist. as a black athlete, you can't go. the president has demeaned the african-american players so much you can't go to the white house. jesse: two players joining me with their reaction. jason sea borne and jack scott to played for the philadelphia eagles. what do you think about the idea that black players can't go to the white house. >> i don't like a lot of the things the president says either. he pissed me off. but i have been to the white house and i will go back. you can have a conversation with president trump and hopefully

we'll find a way to bridge this gap. we are all americans, we are in the same family. families fight and quarrel tbowf talk about it. jesse: i don't understand why the philadelphia eagles players didn't take the opportunity to go to the white house to have a conversation with the president. that would have been the place to do it. >> it would have been the perfect opportunity to get their message across. we have parkland shooting issues so people defend the second amendment, but they don't want to defend the first amendment. they are protesting. it's not about black-white. when he called him a racist. racism and prejudice. we can go back and forth between the two. i don't believe's a racist. what i'm thinking is the players could have had a platform no bigger than the white house to

get their message across to the man himself. jesse: i think they disrespected the office of the presidency. it's not about the person who occupies the office, it's about the office itself. to showboat and say you are going to have 60 guys there and the night before say we are only going to have 6. >> i don't know the details about how that happened. it was unfortunate to find out on 6 guys were going. if you look at their leader malcolm jenkins, chris long gave up his entire year's salary to help the kids. these guys are out in the community doing good work. the fact of the matter is every single one of those guys stood up for the national anthem each and every game. so this is confusing me. i don'tstand why the philadelphia eagles ball club

and donald trump aren't communicating. they agree on a lot of issues. but in front of the lights and cam rats they are going at each other. i have asked for donald trump to please bring our black athletes to the white house and let's have a conversation and let's heal this nation. jesse: that sounds like a good idea. the president offered an olive branch. here is what he said. president trump: a lot of people in the nfl in particular, but in sports leagues, they are not proud enough to stand for our national anthem. i don't like that. for the league,n if they have people, friend, or people they know about who have been treated unfairly by the system, let me know. if i find and my committee find they are unfairly treated, then we'll pardon them or at least

let them out. jesse: i think that was a great idea by the president saying let's move ford in a positive way. if the kneeling deal is suppose to be police miss treatment of black americans other criminal justice system mix treating african-americans. give me an example and i will par done that individual. >> there are lots of examples. but both sides need to come together to decide what they want to get across. i don't think they have disrespect for our country or the flag. but they have chosen to protest. i spoke to military people who said they disagree with the way they are doing it. and their actual message is being lost in the way they are going about it. they said i fought for their right to do that. so they can do that. but come together so the two

side can get their message across so this isn't about kneeling, it's about the social injustice of colored people in america. it's not the kneeling. jesse: i believe it's a failed protest. if no one knows what usual protesting and everyone believes you are disrespecting the flag and the anthem, then your protest has failed. if you are going to talk about social justice, do it on "watters world." do it on espn. and, jack, i don't think that was the right type or place to do that. i will give you the last word. >> you make some great points. i wish we could protest in front of the police department that let the cops off. or protest on capitol hill which a lot of players are doing. we have to come together at the end of the day. jesse, thank you for being the

voice. jesse: maybe we can do a summit at the white house. here are more, counselor to the president and philadelphia native kellyanne conway. what do you tnk about bringing in athletes to the white house to have a dialogue with the president about these issues regarding kneeling and criminal justice. >> this president invited so many people to the white house, left, right and center. you see the issues we work on that are politically charged and the issues that are non-partisan. the opioid crisis and prison reform. this president pardoned folks who were asked to be pardoned by other presidents and failed to do so. he's a master negotiator and deal maker. i will tell you something not a lot of people know.

when the philadelphia eagles were first going to come they requested policy time and the president said okay, we'll have policy time. and the people who requested it weren't come together white house. jesse: what's the point then? >> some people requested action they thought would never be taken. jesse: the president called their bluff and said love to talk about it. >> he didn't call their bluff, he granted their request. but that conversation could be had any time. this president just yesterday morning as he was leaving for the g-7 on the south lawn said i understand why some of these players are kneeling be they are concerned about criminal justice and social justice. and by the way, if they have any idea of people who have been treated unfairly by the justice system they should give me idea

and i'll review those files and look at those cases. the -- some of thelayers that requested the policy time were not part of the smaller group who said they were coming. there were eagles players willing to come here and talk about their great work with refoact autism. the eagles raised $2.5 million for autism. some of these players and management at the eagles have personal dakotas autism. i think that -- personal connections to autism. they are willing to come forward and talk to the philadelphia eagles. so it's -- we dock that any time. some -- we can do that at any time. but some people want to have the

conversations away from the white house and keep the issues alive. jess will be that's surprising that they wted policy time and backed out of it. >> that's not all the eagles. jesse: when the eagles repeat as super bowl champs, maybe they can do it. the mayor of philadelphia is a total hot dog. he said some disparaging things against the president. then a small ball judge said philadelphia city can be a sanctuary city. here is his reaction to that. >> we are a sanctuary city. jesse: how pathetic is this guy. >> philadelphia under this mayor's watch has seen an increase in homicides. they increased dramatically.

the statistics showed philadelphia has the 12th highest rate in the country. also the drug use is way up. i wanted to make something very clear. there was a criminal alien in philadelphia that was released, and he forced his girlfriend into a hot oven. you have got to come up with these shocks the conscience stories. he dances about as well as he preside over the city. jesse: criminal people are putting people in ovens? >> the only problem with sanctuary cities is it doesn't get enough coverage. there is so much poison being harbored. not just the people. the criminal aliens and people like kate tine le are murdered

by people who shouldn't have been here. the poison that sits in the sanctuary cities. you hear people complain you can drive it over the bored into new hampshire. sanctuary states in california, you see people pushing back against that. jesse: a lot of cities in southern california pushing back very hard. jesse: he's a joke and everybody knows it. in a few hours the president will be landing in singapore for his historic face-to-face with kim jong-un. i think he said he wasn't going the pry pair for the up it. >> i think i am very well prepared it's about attitude and willing to get things done. but i think i have been preparing for the summit for a long time. jesse: he got hit by this for

people over at cnn. it's simple what we want. they have to denuclearize and we lift the sanctions. >> he also told one of those cnn reporters that she was unprepared. anyhow, when the president says i don't need to prepare, he means much more. it's through his leadership and stewardship that secretary pompeo has been over to north korea two times. and preparing for this summit. the president has been involved and talks about north korea since he got here. when he was running for president and it was president obama who told president trump north korea will be your biggest problem. it's not like he just decided yesterday to read up on north korea. he said it's not going to be one

meeting it will be 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. you don't undo 70 years of war and the denuclearization of the korean peninsula in one sit-down. jesse: we caught a leaker finally. [♪]

president trump: it's very interesting they caught a leaker. i believe strongly in freedom of the press. but i am also a bleerve in classified information. it has to remain classified. and that includes comey and his band of thieves who leaked classified information all over the place. jesse: president trump reacting to the indictment of former senate intelligence committee aide james wolf, accused of lying to agents about funneling stories to reporters. one reporter in particular at the "new york times" who was sleeping with.

matt gaetz is a member of the judiciary committee. it looks like this guy in the committee romantically involved with a "new york times" reporter. he's leak all sorts of classified information to her and she is sending out tweets acting like it's the trump team that's leak this stuff. you can't make it up'. >> she deserves a reward for reporting classified information. but i'm not sure classified is the term for pillow talk. there is an entire ethic here in washington. if you are going after donald trump and want to make him look bad, the ends justify the means. we have to make sure that doesn't take hold in the congress. jesse: that's not just in the swamp. that's in the media and hollywood. they will say or do anything win

appropriate or illegal in order to damage this president and further the liberal agenda. and they never really have to apologize for it. they believe they have the higher ground. i am just excited sessions came out of hiding and nailed a leaker. where has he been? this is big news? >> it appears the attorney general has shifted to fully caffeinated coffee. he's actively pursuing the active work we need the justice department to pursue to stop the leak instead of cowering in the corner. >> remember the bernie became who got caught leaking classified information. it looks like we have a pattern going and hopefully jeff sessions can keep that up. i want to play some sound from your favor colleague, nancy pelosi.

crumbs the democrats were up you 8 or 9 on the generic ballot. so nancy, tell the american people you don't think they are confident enough. this is donald trump's economy, it's roaring. businesses relationship vesting, jobs are growing and wages are rising. jesse: you forgot one thing. she also needs to keep talking about how ms-13 gang members have a little spark of dignity inside them. >> the great defender of ms-13, nancy pelosi. i don't know if many of them will be voting for democrats. but the families across this country that want secure borders and want to make sure we are compassionate where we need to be. i'm so proud of this president and his agenda. it's one of the reasons the

american people keep doing better. >> i want to get back to this fisa abuse, what you call deep state scandal, spygate. we know there were spies inserted into the trump campaign. it's been reported and confirmed by a number of people. all of a sudden your colleagues like trey gowdy and paul ryan come out and say they were briefed by the fbi and everything was done above board. do you believe them? >> i think the media has overgeneralized their comments. i have have great we expect for speaker ryan and fray gowdy. but i disagree it's ever appropriate to be in a circumstance where unelected people can collect intelligence on people in a campaign and not report it to congress. the law required they report to congress sensitive collected

personality named carl benjamin. antifa raided a take was giving. the antifa guy is cowering up against the wall as he's ready to throw the punch. jesse: why was thisroup being heckled here? this is a christian group holding a free speech protest? >> this was a good-bye party for one of the co-founders. they call him tiny. he's a big som samoan man. antifa calls them fastist. they are advocating small government. free speech. and they say you are fascist.

wasn't the first time they got my face. a few months ago in new york i got surrounded by people over at columbia university because i dared to film their protest. jesse: have there been serious investigations that you have been aware of by the fbi, the department of justice? are they trying to infiltrate antifa? what is law enforcement doing about the group? >> there was several hundred people arrested last january. most of of them have been acquitted or charges dispolice. the government withheld evidence, so i am not familiar with the legalese. so they had to walk back and the judge dismissed more charges. but one of the tactics they use is everyone wears the same clothes so you can't identify
