journey. frank is a remarkable person. the entire tunnel to towers foundation. all the board members and all their siblings are really a crucial part of it. it makes it a different organization. ainsley: for folks at home that don't know, frank, your brother at 9/11, who is a father fighter trying to get into the city. he couldn't. he couldn't get a car through. he puts his equipment on answered runs through the tunnel. and he runs down to 9/11 and is helping individuals there trying to get out safely and he loses his life. so he started this organization. and you built 75 homes for our wounded first responders or people who have served our people overseas. how did the two of you meet? why did you decide to give chris a house? >> well, it's easy. you know, we build for those that pay the biggest price for protecting our country. you see the injuries that chris has. we build for the most catastrophically injured service members. sad he fits that criteria. but he is such a hero.

update that i'm going to give is you a bit of a red herring because when senator susan collins of maine announced that she would not vote for any nominee, who is pro-life, it was pointed out to her that everybody on the 25-person list is pro-life because the president established that as a baseline. and he ran on that on unabashedly. then the white house did something that startled me. they leaked that they will add some names to the list. now, i don't know who those people are going to be or what kind of vetting has been done to the background or how they could add pro-choice people to the list when the president has been so unabashedly pro-life. so that is the only thing that's new. in terms of what went on yesterday with the four sitting federal appellate judges whose faces and names were just on the screen and will probably go on today, these are not what do you think about this case and explain this law to me. i have been through this with this president.

good morning to both of you. >> thank you. pete: what a cool story you want to think your dog would step in on a moment like that but you never know would you expect it. what happened? >> we were just walking on a trail that i have walked many times and i had both todd and copper, his older brother, they are both goldens, and as we were coming down the -- it's a paved hike, and so as we were coming down, todd noticed something by my leg and i didn't see, you know, i didn't see the snake at all. there was no danger rattle or anything no warning sign. i think he was sleeping or sunbathing. i'm not sure. it was very early in the morning about 7:00 a.m. and so todd just kind of darted toward my leg to see what it was. and that's when the snake actually bit him and started to rattle. i kind of jerked back and got him away and i knew todd
