at the white house. this is not a surprise, been a long time coming. what has been a surprise, how scott pruitt held on to his job as long as he did given the controversy swirling around him. 14 different ethics investigations. in his farewell tweet, scott pruitt, you can tell why he held on, president trump appreciated what he's doing. i accepted resignation of scott pruitt as administrator of the e.p.a. scott has done an outstanding job. i will be thankful for this. e.p.a.'s andrew wheeler will take over on monday as acting administrator of the e.p.a. andy will continue on with our great and lasting e.p.a. agenda. the e.p.a. is very bright. scott pruitt issued his resignation in the form of a letter to the president. the administrator pruitt shared that letter with me. i think the particular excerpt

from that letter, passage that is important here is pruitt saying i'm stepping down as administrator of e.p.a. effective july 6, it is difficult seeing serving in this role, i count it blessing to serve you in any capacity and always because of tronz formative work, the unrelenting attackos me personally, my family has taken sizeable toll on all of us. well publicized the scandals pruitt has been facing. another one facing him, congressman ted lou, as well as don baier sent a letter to the inspector general at the e.p.a. claiming certain appointments in scott pruitt's calendar had been scrubbed from the official record because the meetings were with people that would have "looked bad" in the federal record and not keeping proper federal records can be considered a crime.

that was facing him, as well. bernie sanders, of vermont, fierce critic of administrator pruitt said scott pruitt was the worst administrator in the history of the administration. it is about time in terms of scott pruitt's departure. dana, he held on, so many other people in an administratorive capacity would not have been able to, the president thought he was doing a good job. the president during the campaign railed against onerous and demrikative handcuffing industry from creating the economy president trump thought possible and pruitt was on the front lines cutting the regulations. it earned him enemies in government, at the e.p.a. in a breakfast with pruitt a couple weeks ago, he thought he was being targeted by people who wanted to see him gone and today he is gone. >> pruitt's resignation comes at

liberty, as well as the second amendment. she already went through a confirmation and got through unscathed and i think the rack on her from the democrats was she's dogmatic, going to let her catholic faith beliefs influence her rulings and she really expertly deflected that accusation. in terms of strict constitutionalist, originalist and textualist, conservative people like her a lot. she's mother of seven children and again, be on the court for a very, very long time. >> concern is roe v. wade would go against her on the grounds -- >> on the obamacare piece, i had somebody on my show explaining kavanaugh said this court cannot rule on that, but the four justices who voted against obamacare used kavanaugh's ruleing and justification to go against obamacare, just roberts
