other people, there's a lot of people out there, his to say. >> the reason it's not working is because we're still talking about it and it still an entrée for democrats. republicans in congress have been told to be mindful of the response. the president is in the middle of a cabinet meeting. we will also see if there's further clarification there. i agree that russia did meddle in the election, there is no question about that. i also agree that there is some responsibility, not necessarily blame on the part of the united states, because we didn't have the proper defensive clout in regards to russia and their potential hackery. that is one thing that did happen under the obama administration. what i don't agree with in term of what the president said his that's not in the past, that is still very much ongoing and i think our government, our federal government has to have much more measured response we talk about how we're going to stop that from happening in the future.

i saw the bizarre interview wit chris wallace, he asked them some great questions, and there's no reason that he would tell the truth. there are a million reasons russia would screw around and all of this because of the gas, that's all they have. >> i think the bottom line is people are going to be critical of president trump regardless o what he says. but it wasn't his best press conference? perhaps not. he is not one that often comes back and says look, i was wrong and misspoke so i think we need to look at this, step back a little bit and wait to see what other information comes out of that to our meeting that we still don't know much about. >> to that . , where should the american people be willing to see lawmakers go on the issue of getting notes from the white house on this two and half hours ? that is such a precedent settin set of moves. i know we'll talk about it a little later. we were talking about the cabinet meeting going on.

so far, the meetings with nato have been talked about by the president calling those a tremendous success. at home he's talking about a booming economy and with the meeting he sang specifically they plan to focus on the important issue of workforce training. i don't see anything about the russia situation right now with the news conference in his comment, comments, but we're getting feedback and a sickly edge transcript feed from that meeting with the cabinet so. >> can i add one thing quickly. the news cycle is so fast, and this presidency is so intense that you know it. >> to the benefit were not talking about nato or theresa may and whether or not it was appropriate for the president t say that boris johnson would make a 8:00 p.m. sunday. so you have to wonder what the next big thing is that will com along to eclipse the story. >> that's a great point. >> i will say, you are right, there is a lot moving all the
