meanwhile, the very worst example of media bias this week is something called bias of omission. for example, cnn spends less than a minute covering the ceremony where vice president pence received a purported remaining of fallen american servicemen who died during the korean war. and msnbc did not cover it at all. the mainstream media is also happy to largely ignore the president's soaring new approval rating. they are also playing down america's record-setting econom economy. thee unemployment rate is now an incredibly low 3.9%. joining us now with more his counselor to the president kellyanne conway. good evening, kelly end. >> thank you for having me, congratulations on your best seller book. >> thank you. what we heard when the last

couple of days was stunning enough, but the reaction by the press to sarah sanders and to the reaction by the press when they are now saying that everyone close to the president knows that he is not well, like mika brzezinski, and the claimez that the president is not well by chris matthews, do they really think that those 10,000 people cheering in pennsylvania were stupid and could not figure out to that this president was smart with the program, not with the program? >> well, that is the thing, judge. all across the country, and i travel on behalf of the white house. and we see the president out quite a bit, he will go to the third rally this week in ohio. he was in florida and pennsylvania already. and he does that for a specific reason. he takes the case directly to the people. cuts out the middleman, and let's face it, the middleman does not like it. cuts out the middleman when he

communicates as all of us at the same time, what is on his mind, at any given moment through his vast social media platform, cutting out the middleman. and i do not want to lose sight of how much affection and appreciation there is in this country for this president and his policies. people know, they feel and they are living exactly what you just said, a booming economy. the predictions were doomed, the reality is boomed.d and people know it.t i went through the crowd in pennsylvania. they are they are, because they are appreciative of having optis in that job market. they are appreciative of having more money in their pockets. it gives them freedom and confidence and buoyancy. and it does not matter who will tell them that that is not the truth. if they see it in the 401(k), they see it in their paycheck, they see it in their home value. i notice a lot of hand-wringing about, the media bias and this that and the other, is the ocean

wet? but the fact is that the bias of selectivity is the one that i have been talking about since the campaign and through the transition of the administration. you can look at the coverage, but what i refer to as incomplete coverage. the omission of all of the stories that are news that you can use. facts and figures that we need to know is americans. and the media, ours is bigger, bothering some of these stations and their ratings and their revenues. >> judge jeanine: let me just interrupt you for a second. >> they are not doing that. >> judge jeanine: they are not doing it, but when you talk about what is going on in the country, forget about the media, it is totally focused against donald trump. and i want to get on another subject in a minute, but the animal spirit that are going on,

the instincts in this country with the economy, when the president talked about valley forge and the role of steel in pennsylvania, he is integrating the two issues. the economy, and. patriotism. and i want to go on to this woman with "the new york times," going on the editorial board of "the new york times." sarah jeong, most journalists operate under the guidance of the editorial board. and this woman is anti-cop, antiwhite, she is anti-men. everything that she says is explosive and her tweets. and to get to "the new york times" is supporting her on the editorial board. so, has a great lady flipped hep lid? what are they doing? >> it is a little bit shocking that the bias of this writer would be so flagrant and blatant, usually they try to hide it a little bit better.

i'm surprised she still has a job only because you cannot say on the one hand that this is an opinion writer just expressing her opinion, on the other hand we can sitit here and come up wh 12, 15, 20 instances where people lost their jobs, frankly less than that. and everybody knows it. i want to shine a light in case the viewers missed it. a writer at politico who i knew yearso ago, pulling for the "miami herald," and the tribune years ago, i knew him years y ao in florida, now reporting for ", you put them all together, you would have a full set of teeth.h he said that. when people attacked him and asked him to retract on social media, he doubled down and said, oh, did i hurt their feelings? he called them garbage people. did i heard the garbage people's feelings? let me go get a fainting couch.

so this is the level of discourse. let mee tell you something.is not everybody in the media is the same. not every industry is the same. but there is this growing sameness with and what is covered and what is excluded from the coverage that is harming. it is just shocking that these people still have a job. it is not shocking that the media has 17% approval rating. it is going down saying the same where the president is actually rising as you said. to not cover the repatriation and the vice president of the united states mike pence leading our fallen heroes as they remain in hawaii from north north kort is their duty. >> judge jeanine: it is their mission, about trashing the president and trashing the people who elected them president. that is dangerous. >> we live through a campaign, it will not work.

we prefer positive candidates in this country, since 1960 all the way to 2016, with the exception of 1972, they found someone more positive, optimistic, and just funny. >> judge jeanine: knowing what you know and all of the stance that we have, and the president first term historically, his party loses midterm, what do you think is going to happen in w 2018? you are the pollster. >> we know the historic numbers, we know that obama lost 63 seats. clinton lost 54 and control of the house, but also took action outside the mainstream, they did not get historic tax cuts, historic deregulation, dark corners around the world. >> judge jeanine: do you see it happening differently for this president? >> i do. i do. the one thing we are up against our 42 republican house retirements.ub that is devastating. >> judge jeanine: yes, that is. >> but the president does not follow the trends, he makes new trends prayed he does not follow

>> judge jeanine: welcome back to the special edition ofin "hannity," the left is desperate to draw out to the russia collusion hoax, as long as i can, because it gives them somethingon to talk about. rudy giuliani telling politico the president's legal team will decide in the next ten days whether trump will sit down for an interview with robert mueller. plus today marks the close of day four of the manafort trial. joining us live from washington with the latest on that and more is allison barber. >> the legal team has gone back and forth on p whether or not te president will sit down for an interview with robert mueller. an issue for the president's legal team are the questions investigators plan to ask him. the president's personal attorney sent a letter to mueller asking about the scope and format of the interview, fox news special counsel has responded to that letter that mueller agreed to have some questions answered in writing.

he reports tonight that the special counsel team spoke with a woman known as the manhattan madam on wednesday put her name is kristin davis, running a high-end ring in new york city. you might know her name because it came up during the delegate scandal, talking about this, they declined to comment, working on trying to figure out more on this in general, but according to reports, investigators are interested in her ties to trump ally roger stone. all of this as a president's former campaign chairman manafort finishing in virginia, the account and testify with immunity this afternoon, said that she falsified documents to help manafort secure a loan and classify income as a loan which would lower manafort's taxes. facing charges related to financial fraud, denies anyd wrongdoing, was indicted by special counsel robert mueller, but the thingsgs we think of whn we talk about the special counsel russia, president tom, those have not been topics at

whether he is interviewed by mueller is answered by the report that we just heard that he is fishing around with this madam up in new york. what an outrage. this is not what anyone signed up for. >> judge jeanine: well, rosenstein does not care. >> it is an egregious abuse of justice and the rule of law. >> judge jeanine: we know that, but gregg, rosenstein expanded the special counsel order, i said that i am sick and tired of talking about porn stars and. >> robert mueller and as well as rod rosenstein who should have disqualified himself when he appointed mueller, you cannot be a witness and a prosecutor simultaneously, but the president should not be interviewed. >> judge jeanine: so you do not think you should pray to no,

and here's why. mueller has charged and is prosecuting michael flynn for lying even though flynn told the truth. the t fbi agents who interviewed flynn walked out and said that he was telling the truth. mueller does not care about the truth or justice. >> judge jeanine: but he pled guilty. >> if he sits down and tells the truth, he will file a report with congress saying that the president is lying, it does not matter what trump says. >> judge jeanine: tom fitton, but you cannot indict a sittingr president, that is clear under the law and decisions. so what are we doing here? >> i do not think that the president should cooperate in helping mueller write his impeachment report. and it is fairly corrupt.gh the superstructure of the mueller investigation has been corrupted by the clinton dossie dossier, comey ceiling records

to get mueller appointed, the partisanship of the prosecutors that he has. and for what, is the president going to be questioned, the justice department should protect president trump from this continued harassmentt and shut mueller down. the prosecutor will be allowed to harass the president with questions about issues that he cannot be indicted on. this is crazy. >> judge jeanine: all right, gregg, so tom is right that the doj should protect the president. they are obviously doing that, okay, so the president should not sit down with mueller. what benefit does he get? >> from his standpoint, he feels like he is innocent and unfairly persecuted prayed he would tell you, i don't know any russians, i did not talk to anybody. i did not collude, if anybodyf did, i did not know about it. i represented a few innocent people that wanted to scream

from the rooftops, i am innocent. and that's how president trump feels, as an inferior officer, mueller has no legal right to question the president about exercising a constitutional authority to fire somebody. >> judge jeanine: if the president decides as rudy has said, in the next nine days, then what happens? does mueller subpoena the president? >> mueller does not have the appetite to subpoena the president, because he knows that he would lose in federal court. >> judge jeanine: tom, i will go back to you, judicial watch. you know that i am complementing you for what you do. but you have stuff that congress cannot catch. what makes me crazy, because congress has oversight. we will save that for another time. new documents, talk to me. what did you findne out today in your information request? >> the fbi gave us heavily redacted documents. two pages were unredacted of 70 about fbi contacts with christopher steele, the dossier

at the economic numbers reveal that the economy is booming. look at these statistics, 170,000 jobs were added in july, and the unemployment rate is down to 3.9%. hispanic unemployment hit a new record low inn july. earlier today president trump tweeted about the news writing "july is just the ninth month since 1970 that unemployment has fallen m below 4%. our economy has added 3.7 million jobs since i won the election." 4.1 gdp, more than 4 million people have received a pay raise due to tax return. $400 billion back from overseas. of course the left is trying to figure out how to spin these great economic numbers for trump. with some democrats claiming that workers are losing their jobs. joining usus now is the author f

in florida, all kinds of great things are happening with the economy and donald trump.. so when you run in florida, do people in florida care about that? >> oh, absolutely, judge. we have had a good run in florida during rick scott's tenure, now with the president, particularly to tax reform, and janine, you probably know this when you will file your taxes in new york, getting rid of the deduction from the high tax state, that will influence a lot of people to pick up and come to florida, particularly if you are in industries like financial services where you can be here. i think that we are primed to capitalize off of a lot of things that the president has done.. and i think that florida has never been in a better position as long as we keep good, solid, low tax, fiscally responsibly policy. >> judge jeanine: matt gates, from florida also, you'd heard austan goolsbee talk about the

economy, do not believe your lying eyes. like peter strzok when he testified before you guys in congress. do not believe your lying eyes. what you say to the democrats? how will that affect the 2018 election? do you think the americans will believe him? >> well, they showed. if the democrats take over congress, the head of the financial services committee will be vaccine waters. letting maxine waters near the economy is about as dumb as letting hillary clinton in front yourur i.t. department at small business. we have gdp growth that is doubling, the fastest wage growth in ten years, we have home values that are rising at twice that rate and we have had the longest consecutive streak of job growth in american history, just saying it, judge. it is so exhausting it makes me tired of winning. >> judge jeanine: [laughs] congressman desantis, you know one of the things that the president was talking about yesterday or last night in pennsylvania, he talked about the fact that he got to nato to

step up and he said to melania he said tomorrow morning at $200 billion, they will love it. and they responded with, he was rude to the nato allies. in the end, this midterm election, which way is it going? >> well, look, judge. it should go republican's way. historically there is a reaction against a party in power. but i think the combination of a strong economy and the fact that the democratic party does not have any idea. most of the grassroots seem to be gravitatingof toward socialim like you see with the causey of cortez in new york. that is not a winning strategy for places like florida and other swing states. so as long as we stay on message, as long as we keep articulating an agenda, there will be a positive contrast with the democratic party that is exhaustive of ideas. >> judge jeanine: what about socialism?
