killed then police have killed unarmed black americans.what you make of those statistics? >> i've known these for a long time. that is why i attempted to reeducate the black community what is actually going on. a police officers 18 and a half times more likely to be shot and killed by a black man than the other way around. that is why i fully support the police. i understand what they're up against.i would never make an excuse and say it's okay when an unarmed black finish up a police officer. but i believe the statistics are huge in order to make them hate police officers and do the bidding for the democratic party which is what i refuse to do. jesse: startling statistics came out, i think the black support for president trump is about 15 percent maybe a year or year and and a half ago. now it is at 29 percent. who do you attribute that to? >> i think there been so many people, black conservatives standing up and speaking out finally. we're definitely no longer afraid. i think i'm encouraged by seeing all of the youtube

has been totally normalized. jesse: how do you know that? because you don't know. >> i am also a woman. sexism is part of the daily fabric of all women's lives. jesse: when donald trump says make america great again he is talking about -- >> were not having a conversation about mind reading as opposed to interpretation. jesse: you brought that up. >> you refer to national politics. that also consists of race and class and gender. it is a package deal. when you're talking about nation building you're talking about a lot of others, it is multidimensional. jesse: listen, i did not take that from what the president said. when he's that slogan. what do men need to do in america now? how can we improve in your opinion?>> to me, the crisis is really about the lack of responsibility and lack of self interrogation. i mean etymologically, it means at this point which change must

come. he did that change can come or it won't. but what had needs to happen is that when men start doing some the work and interrogation around masculinity as opposed all these other special interest groups. jesse: must take it step-by-step. it white man. what do i need to address internally about my white male? >> i would say what kind of privileges have i inherited because of my whiteness and masculinity? jesse: white privilege. >> white privilege but also masculinity. and we all have to ask that question. what privileges do we -- jesse: you want white men, you want white men to recognize that they have certain advantages by being born a white, straight man? and i, as a white, straight

male should be more conscious of my privileges when i go walk around in everyday society? >> you should be but most likely will not be because you don't have to. that is the argument i am making. most people are conscious because of certain things. people who have dominant power do not have to ask those questions. so the question that men have to ask themselves of this and the all people that are struggling for consciousness and liberation and justice need to ask that the world can be better for everyone. jesse: what about a guy in minnesota who is making you know, $20 an hour. it's a really tough job, he is a family to support. the economy is not working for him and things are tough. how does he have white privilege? >> he did not specify he is white. he still is, even if he does not have economic privilege,

this past week. the last couple of weeks. the media has completely buried -- the other day the president goes down to florida and announces a massive increase in jobs as a result of his policies down there. we also saw the remains of the korean war soldiers returned. and look at this here, mike pence comes out to receive the remains in a very somber and an historical ceremony. look at the networks. abcnews did not even give it 30 seconds. cbs did not cover it. nbc nightly news did not cover it. msnbc did not take it live. i mean, it is completely ridiculous the way they are burying these types of stories. then you have another moment where the president stops in motorcade after one of these events and gets out and starts greeting firefighters and shaking their hands. it was one of those really

i've never heard anybody breathe -- [laughter] jesse: that does feel good. >> what is your stress level right now? >> i feel like it went down to about a six. >> give it another two minutes and it will be down to a two or one. jesse: this actually works with people, doesn't it? >> it really does. jesse: you notice my voices,? >> yes. jesse: it's actually working. >> i think so too. if you double -- jesse: double the pleasure, double the fun? >> that's fine that is alexander the great. just do not go near their mouth they will raise your stress level if they nibble on your finger? jesse: >> can we bring these to the view? >> no, i would not choose to do that. jesse: why not? >> i prefer to go places i really have seen a difference made for people who are on

hospice and people who have ptsd. people with dementia. jesse: people are getting ptsd from the trump presidency, we are hearing. there are reports of that. also for college students, we know they get very stressed out these days about exams. >> yes, we go to colleges. jesse: and the life of a college student can be very stressful. these people are fragile now. what would you do on a college campus with these horses? >> the larger the university the longer we are there. usually 2 to 3 hours. we go to a specific location at a university and people will come and visit with them. there are people who i have to wonder, -- jesse: yes. >> and there are people you would not imagine the things they are dealing with in their lives are serious and they really do help. they help them connect on a different level. jesse: we are not mocking this. we are enjoying it and experiencing it.
