are all different. we have all these reasons to hide in the corner and point fingers and say they are different from us so let's not interact with them but that is not how we live. we may have sections that are more muslim or christian or this or that but we understand the only thing that makes this country a country despite those things or because of those things we have one thing in common. we are all americans. when someone falls down we pick them back up. when someone gets a hardship where i come from you raise money and help them out regardless what they look like or where they go to church, that makes this country great, we built this country on our differences. when people like governor cuomo look at that and say because it is not perfect, it is not utopia it was never that great to begin with, that is a coward looking at defeat and grasping at straws and has no place in our political discourse. jillian: do you think he should have just apologized? that would be easier? >> it is what he believes, it is

urgency to address this crisis. there definitely is an urgency in the numbers from the cdc. they have not gone down since 2016. we need to do more. what we are doing is not enough. we are at the state were what is happening in connecticut is just one example and more can be done. rob: what is scary to people, responsible adults are caught up in this. the people getting addicted our moms with three kids that break their arm on treadmills. they get these pills and they get hooked and the drug is so good they can't stop taking it. as a pain specialist, are there options for people to treat pain without something that becomes

so addictive? >> unfortunately it is not 1-size-fits-all. in my own patients i get that question all the time but innovation is what we need, we need a multidimensional solution, better policy, better leadership, economic solutions. it will be a transformative solution that fixes this. we need all hands on deck to get people to fix these problems so these problems don't happen again. rob: we have the best medical system as far as advancement and innovation in the world so hopefully we can come up with something. appreciate your time. he was a wanted man who tried to run from the cops. weight until you see the shocking moment he just drops after he gets hit by the stun gun.
