wants to and he used it against john brennan, maybe to silence because he's ticked off at brennan maybe for both of those reasons and now he has set his sights on bruce ohr, unlike brennan who has the loft it position of cia director, bruce ohr as you know is the mid-level justice department department official why is he important because his wife, nellie as the president says worked for gps fusion and gps fusion of course as we know the architects of the christopher steele dossier, but there's all kinds of relationships christopher steele with nellie ohr, christopher steele and bruce ohr and the fact that bruce ohr was allowed for a long time to continue plotting along in the justice department without revealing that he had this relationship with christopher steele and with gps fusion is remarkable. rachel: absolutely, geraldo and i think the point is and you tell me if i'm wrong is these aren't just random people. there are a lot of people who don't like donald trump. these are people who are specifically tied to spying on

because of president trump. this is a one sided issue. rachel: i have a daughter going to college this fall. what's the resource that student s have. how do they fight back? >> well the student in this case who tipped this off did so anonymously because they were fearful from the professor and i think it comes down to actually standing up and making people aware of what's going on here. ed: the university responded and they say we, at the university of colorado, colorado springs, have always been and will continue to be committed to the principles of free speech, academic freedom and respect for diverse viewpoints and we remain committed to the students we teach and their right to explore new concepts and viewpoints. that's a nice flowery statement. these statements come after people get caught. the apology statements. >> they're not changing the syllabus. >> and why are professors doing this what's the motivation because you never want people with the political correctness culture and whose one person fighting the pc culture?

the secretary of state level but if it's sort of like a thing we handout, then make me a foundation member. it's ridiculous. rachel: well neil the president has a new tweet out that says has anyone looked at the mistakes that john brennan made while serving as cia director? he will go down easily as the worst in history and since getting out he has become nothing less than a loud mouth partisan political hack who cannot be trusted with the secrets to our country. what do you make of that? neil: well i'm going to put him down as a maybe on brennan. you know, you do have to step way way way back from this. i don't really discern much about where anyone comes from politically but when a former top intelligence official is saying the stuff he's saying about the president of the united states, yeah, you can argue the president then characterized and come back the way it has. it's just not right. i just think that everyone has got to dial it back a little bit here but i do think that it's all one way or that the president is being unfair and be the first to call the president

on stuff i think he steps the line but brennan has for quite some time saying stuff off the charts. todd: neil we are three hours in , 48 minutes into fox & friends on a weekend. we have not mentioned the name nancy pelosi yet but that's all going to change right now because you have a south dakota democratic congressional candidate if you will who says he's not going to vote for nancy pelosi for speaker if that is there. neil: there's quite a few like that i know you guys reported this as well i think up to 47 now announced democratic candidates who were running for the house who say that they would have real serious reservations about making nancy pelosi their leader and now that could change if the leadership changes and the twisting of arms and all of that but what they seem to be rallying against is the establishment and they include her in that establishment. now, who they turn to in the event they do take over the house is anyone's guess, but it is a fairly clear to me that even if they don't nancy pelosi is either their leader in any
