the president has to be careful of in terms of legal jeopardy? >> facing investigations from three separate office is peer now the state prosecutors in manhattan. so he got three separate really skilled teams and i think the jeopardy is that he doesn't know where the next hit will come from. i expect they will keep coming. >> we talk about the investigation, it is not just russia or the potential financial issues. >> right. eric: it is the trump charity this week that they were investigating that. >> and there is not much reporting about what looked like michael cohen really has a great deal of information about potentially illegal activities that donald trump is doing through the foundation. we been focused on russia but there may be a great deal of

the plea and as part of the plea i'm sure he will cooperate and that is why he is implicating the president. eric: would prosecutors see that as obstruction of justice? denials? he is not under oath. >> i don't think necessarily obstruction of justice more of a perjury issue.if they would testify to give a statement and then contradict himself.eric: the last word on this, where is there or is there legal issue with these conflicting statements? >> i don't think it is a legal issue. he didn't make it to an fbi agent but think about the world we're living in. there is a pretty significant piece of information about payoffs that the president did during the campaign. this is a political issue, it will continue to be a political issue and if we were in any of the president -- there should be serious moves towards impeachment. eric: do thing that will happen? was i think at some point there will be a point when they cannot deny that the president is involved in illegal activity. as more comes out it will be a scramble. eric: the president says is a witchhunt so we will see how it rolls out. i'm sorry we are up against this because a breaking news. thank you. >> thank you. eric: we will be right back. so i can buy from
