"the new york post" and "washington post" listen to that and said, wait a minute. we independently confirmed cnn story based upon not our anonymous source and our anonymous source was lanny davis was now saying the whole thing is false.se they are now doing what they should have done which is they retracted the story and out at their own source. is that the anonymous sources lanny davis and they now retract it because he says that's false. cnn couldn't do that because they lied to the entire world. they said as you just played that they tried to get a hold of lanny davis and he refused to comment, when in fact of course lanny davis was also their source and they don't want to admit that they lied to the world. so they can't retract the story and they can't admit they lied to so they are just continuing to stick to what everybody knows is a lie but not many people care because a lot of people think that it was done for the right political agenda. >> tucker: so it seems that kind of stunning that they could continue to claim that they are notim retracting, and there is a

9:34 pm
senator feinstein is not the hawk on china, she's been a critic. she actually supported this so-called reform to crack down on chinese investment in america. she's one of the original cosponsors of the bill. so if the chinese were worried, she slowly beginning to get more concerned about china, that would have a spy for 20 years. she says it was just her driver and he had no access to classified information, but he could certainly listen in on what the senator was doing with china for 20 years. this is another example that is going to cause us, i'm afraid, tucker, to rethink what's been going on in u.s.-china relations the last ten or 20 20 years. >> tucker: we are so naive. >> they may have outsmarted us even more than it seems in my book. >> tucker: it seems like it. thank you for your perspective. we will take youil to florida where we will bring you a live report from the election in progress.
