jillian: big win for candidates endorsed by donald trump in the floor and there is a primaries joined by bernie backed socialist candidate in one of the closely watched races this november. rob: here to break it down is justin wallin. we will charge -- start with the gop primary in arizona, a 3-way race and interestingly enough the most moderate candidates smoked the other two candidates. >> reporter: the most moderate candidate, mc sally, who won by a large margin faced competition from the right. one of her competitors was former sheriff joe arpaio, well-known name. all three were clamoring for the president's support. mc sally didn't always have a cozy relationship but it warmed up and she won handily. good news for republicans, she

is the one best to win in the general against a democratic opponent. jillian: a lot expected her to win, no big surprise. let's talk about the democratic governor's race. any surprises? >> in this case, this played out the way we expected. we have a progressive on that side, garcia who won that one, someone who wants to see an open border on the southern border, medicare for all, this is going to be trump versus progressive scenario. rob: let's talk about florida. we are talking about rick scott, the governor, right now, of florida, going up against bill nelson. we didn't need to follow this one. it was a washout. against bill nelson, two big names in florida and that could be an interesting race.

>> big names and big dollars, the most expensive campaign in america. rick scott has dumped in $20 million of his own money, a nice bit of pocket change and a lot of outside money coming in. if you look at the politics average of polls, it is very tight, it will encourage more spending and an exciting race to watch. jillian: the florida gop governors race that a lot of people are watching because at one point adam putnam was ahead and then ron desantis got the donald trump endorsement and comes away with the win. >> if ever there was a race where you can call the trump bump this is one of them. so he won, a big win for the

president and well poised in that space to take on a democratic contender. rob: that trump bump, 3000 votes in that race, incredible. south florida, a familiar name, donna shalala versus a former news anchor and republican. >> reporter: if anything was made-for-tv this would be it. former clinton hhs secretary donna shalala will face an actual news anchor, gop nomination, it will be interesting. it is fun. that is one of the fun reasons to keep an eye on it. the larger races capture more attention. that will be fun to watch. rob: do you think shalala takes that? >> i do. rob: we will see what happens in november. 17 minutes after the hour. chaos in the classroom over a make america great again hat, a student ripping off a classmate's head and slapping a teacher.

and cynthia next, i dislike them all equally, i hope they say it because they are pulling the curtain, open borders -- rob: here's the poll that proves the point, asking democrats on whether they support abolishing immigration and customs enforcement from this country. a big thing. supporting that, only 24%. opposing it at 41% and people who can't make up their mind at 34% on this issue. tell us as a former acting director the importance of this agency. a lot of these people are only looking at what happens with immigration in this country but you do a lot. >> immigration is an important part of it. you get rid of ice, no one is looking. over stay a visa no one is looking forward. you can get arrested, see a judge and get released, no one is looking for it. and take the first half of this

year, ice arrested 100,000 criminal aliens in the country illegally and another crime as a citizen in this country, new york state, ice arrested 5000 criminals off the street in new york so governor cuomo should be sending a thank you f and asking them to be abolished, and 2000 more predators off the street, 990,000 pounds of narcotics, 8000 more people at derogatory information that should never enter the country based on ice investigation, these are things ice does and abolishing ice would be a huge national security risk. >> you spend a lot of time working with this agency, you know the ands and outs better than most people do. of democrats who want to abolish ice get their way what would our country like in 5 or 10 years?

republicans don't want to share with the american people? jillian: joining me his constitutional attorney mark smith. thank you for your time. additional 85,000 pages of documents they have been requesting were released last night. is that going to be enough? >> for the democrats nothing is enough unless brett cavanagh withdraws the nomination. democrats don't have votes in the senate. what they are doing now is appropriate in the sense that it is great political theater for their constituents. when they go back to the district they can say we did everything we do to slow or stop it brett kavanaugh confirmation but didn't have the votes and that is what is going on. brett kavanaugh has been a judge for over a decade. not like he is a secret guy and he has been on the donald trump list of potential supreme court nominees for over a year. they had ample time to look at his record and request documents about him going back a year.

it is really their fault. jillian: is there a chance it gets delayed? >> know. i tell you why. there is a practical reason why it doesn't get delayed. we have midterm elections coming up and one third of us senators are up for reelection, they want to go back to their home districts and campaign. they don't want to be in washington. they want to get out of washington as soon as they can to the campaign trail so there is a self-interest reason for one third of senators to get out of town. jillian: the arguments i was hearing last night, one of the concerns even from some republicans, the support of executive power but republican said it would be concerned about that if i thought that was a reality but democrats seem to keep pounding that right now. >> the president has a lot of power. that is why they have national elections what's one person to be the president because it is such an important position and he has a lot of power or she has a lot of power in the future.

so what? there are many ways to check and balance a rogue president, the congress can do it, there are investigations that can occur, you don't need the supreme court to check a rogue executive and that is hypothetical. you can say that about anything. we don't know what future justices have to face. will be an executive making bad decisions? illegal act by congress? we have no idea. if that is the standard for delay they would never confirm any justice. jillian: a lot of democrats on the other side make noise just to make noise because this is donald trump's pick. >> of course. it is pretty fair the democrat strategy since donald trump won the election is whatever trump stands for we are the opposite, we are the resistance. that is what this is about. it doesn't matter who donald trump pics, whoever he picked,

rob: a bit of a downer for the happiest place on earth, disney loses a big tax break. jillian: tracy carrasco here with what it means for park goers. >> reporter: the anaheim city council voted to end agreements that offer the disney resort disneyland some tax breaks. surprisingly this came at the request of disney. these incentive deals were designed to encourage disney to build a luxury hotel and expand the theme park a multimillion dollar expansion. but disney, they said they wanted these tax breaks taken away because they said, quote, it created an adversarial climate where there should be cooperation and goodwill so they are hoping by ending these deals it will improve the relationship between the city and disney. rob: that is interesting. this is also very interesting. a robotic bundler at your hotel.
