early from the west wing, 6:50 a.m. when it started. the hatred and extreme bias by cnn has clouded their thinking and made them unable to function, but as i have always said this is been going on a long time. jeff as he has been a terrible job, his ratings suck and at&t should fire him to save credibility. little jeff is a reference to jeff zucker who was 5'6" and run cnn. tobit clearly present continued, "what is going on in cnn happens at other networks with nbc news being the worst. the good news is that andy lackey's but to be fired for incompetence and much worse. one of lester holt caught clutching my tape, they got hurt badly." he cannot state how strongly enough the media is. they have their hatred and agenda. this includes fake books which come back at me all the time, always anonymous sources at a

pure fiction. and me of the people. subsequently the president noted that cnn "is working frantically to find their source, look hard because it doesn't exist. whatever left of seed" ability is now gone." an apparently fraudulent cnn story that claimed the president was aware of the now famous russia lawyer meeting at trump tower before took place. davis, the lower representing cohen says he was the source of the story and he admits he has no evidence that it is actually true. that is bad for state and obviously. they refused comment on its own dishonesty. mark steyn, the best-selling author and a genius at sorting things out and he joins us to do that. mark! he saw they tweet storm? >> i think it is always a good idea when the president gets the media talking about themselves. i saw him earlier, how this makes sense and media terms.

i think out in the wider world, the reality is that the media, people loathe the media. even more than politicians. they especially loathe the media when they're talking about themselves. if you can get kyle bernstein talking pompously and ponderously about how he has spent whatever it is, 60 years bringing the truth to light. while he is summering at sag harbor, which i gather is like some broken down lobster decrepit village way up the coast that nobody is ever heard of. anyway, he has been seen they're announcing that he is bringing the truth to light. every time you hear the media to stand in their old pretentiousness, i think that is a win for the presidents. >> tucker: what does it though? there's nothing with the press likes to talk about more than itself. this is self-involvement on

parade. everybody wins it seems like. >> i think this is one thing where people to agree with him. they feel the media do not actually give them a fair shake. for example everyone is saying, there's nothing wrong with that nbc thing. there's nothing wrong with that except for is one of those over edited interviews in which the bits they take out or as revealing as anything they leave in. the president has a point on that. i think it is actually very reasonable to raise the way these things are edited. as for the davis thing, i understand he twice denied he was the source of the cnn story. when i first read the story, i thought it was rubbish because michael cohen is now being forced to lie about everything he has been doing for the previous quarter-century.

the government's star witness is a liar whose deal is conditional on these new laws. i thought lanny davis was just passing on his client's lives but in fact he is lying about what the liar lied to him about that day. [laughs] even by cnn standards, it is falling apart. >> tucker: it has metal lying. you are old enough like me to remember a time when political analysts said things like, what american voters really lots. they want authenticity and transparency. here we have a president who is literally tweeting in his bedroom early morning saying things like, cnn sucks. now that is the most authentic and transparent thing. and yet the media hates it. >> that his rights. this isn't the way a president behaves. what is he supposed to do?

they're supposed to focus group cnn. and then a spokesman will come out at a podium and read out a press belief saying that cnn sucks the fact that he wakes up and thinks cnn sucks and then says that! he is not doing it right and they can't stand that. you are right, you can complain about a lot of things, but this is like actually being plugged into trump's brain when he wakes up in the morning. after for asking for unfiltered politicians who are not in the bubble, this guy is not in the bubble! he is out of the bubble and taking it to them and they can't stand it. >> tucker: [laughs] it is hilarious. i've so many mixed feelings about this. i was the day agree with you, i will never again cite to some pompous kind tv saying, what's voters only want his authenticity. voters may want to it, the media

does not. great to see you. >> thanks tucker, you've spent years bringing the truth to light. we should all talk pompously. >> tucker: was a fraudulent character. thank you jeff bezos, the founder of amazon is worth a hundred and $50 billion. that is enough to make him the richest man in the world by far. and by possibly the richest human being and all of history. it is certainly enough to pay his employees well. he doesn't. a huge number of amazon workers are so poorly paid that they qualify for federal welfare benefits. according to data from a nonprofit group, new food economy, nearly one and three and was on employees in arizona for example were on food stamps last year. jeff bezos isn't paying his workers enough to eat, so you made up the difference with your tax dollars. next time you see him, make sure that he says thank you. what about the walton family?

they funded walmart, collectively they are worth about hundred $75 billion. that is more than the entire gross domestic product of culture, the oil-rich gulf states. they can certainly afford to be generous with their workers, and said count on you to take to make pick up the slack. 2013, taxpayer sent more than $16 billion to employees for mood to make food stamps, and housing. if you think that is remarkable, meet travis. he is the youthful founder of cooper, his personal fortune is close to $5 billion. his drivers by contrast often make less than minimum wage. one recent study found that many uber drivers lose money working for the company. that is not a sustainable business model. the only reason it continued says because of your generosity. because you are paying the welfare benefits for cooper's impoverished drivers, child billionaires like travis can buy bigger houses and more airplanes. he is nobody else who owes you a

thank you note. if you can think of a less fair system than this, send us an email we would love to hear about it. almost nobody ever complains about it. how come? conservatives like us support the free market and for good reason. there is nothing free about this markets. a lot of these companies operate as monopolies, they hate markets. these government regulation to crush competition. there is nothing conservative about that, just as there is nothing conservative about most big corporations. just the opposite. they are the backbone of the left. pick a left-wing because that you think is hurting the country? check the donor list and you'll find the name of some corporation, often many corporations. corporate america enables the lunacy you see on the left on the shell. their funding revolution in progress. that is exactly why liberal say nothing as oligarchs and amass billions by soaking our middle class because they've been paid off. for example you probably assume some of the people that founded

walmart or conservatives, most of their customers certainly are. if the bulk of the walton family back to hillary clinton in the last election. they give the democratic party more than $700,000 during the 2016 cycle. almost every billionaire and silicon valley to the same. in return for that, they got immunity from criticism and they got to keep forcing you to pay their employees. it was a good deal for them. there is one person in washington who was who is offey this. this is a weird moment in american politics, so you take allies where you can find them. bernie sanders of all people is trying to get your money back from jeff bezos'. this is especially amazing because he is on bernie's side on most things. they are both left-wing activists. on this question, bernie is right. he is planning legislation that would force big corporations to return the taxpayer-funded welfare benefits that you have paid to their workers.

it is not a perfect solution and it is unlikely to pass, no matter what they may say in public, liberals in congress would never support something like this. their loyalty is not to you, it is to uber and jeff bezos and the rest. at the very least, legislation like this might awaken a sleepy population to the reality of activist corporate america. that is a good thing. america has changed enormously in the last 20 years, i love to people you thought were your allies are in fact working against your interests. they have contempt for you and your family, your customs on your faith. included in this group i'm sorry to say, there are a lot of big corporations. they have no use for you and the country grew up in. used in you stand on their way. it is shocking so much shocking that i recently wrote a book about it. it is called a ship of fools. the book is out in a month, the first week of october but you can preorder a copy now and i hope you will.

it was exactly the same. you can't get anymore, right? the failing "new york times," if i wasn't here they would be out of business. "the washington post," "the new york times." cnn. [boos] so a writer for "the new york times" that pretends she knows what she is talking about, hasn't got a clu clue. i am telling you the enthusiasm was the same, the place was packed. she made the statement that president trump was disappointed to see some empty chairs. yeah, they are going to the bathroom may be. and he was so disappointed at the tone in the room. these are just dishonest,

terrible people. i'm telling you that. terrible. not all of them. honestly, not all of them. i would say 85%. so he made a great deal with mexico, and as you know canada didn't want to do what we have to have done. after the deal was made with mexico, canada came along and they are negotiating right now at the white house, our territory. we will see what. and if it doesn't happen we will put tariffs on the cars coming in from canada and that will be even better. but i think it is going to happened and we really have developed a really good relationship. but they have to treat us fairly, they haven't treated us fairly. i'll give you an example with

canada, dairy products. they put tariffs on our dairy products going into canada, almost 300%. we can't have that. [boos] and a lot of other barriers. so we will open it up or will be frankly, may be even better. either way it is going to work beautifully. okay? that i promise. i'll tell you what. this country is tired of being ripped off by other countries. we are tired of it. we are doing some great deals with other countries also. he been reading about it, they are getting done one by one. and if they don't come out, we are almost better. we are thrilled to be joined tonight by many of your states great republican leaders.

i have to say, a man who followed a very hard act, our great vice president, mike penc pence. that is a hard act. mike did a great job as your governor and he is doing a great job for us in washington. you have a governor, eric who is doing a great job. fantastic. thank you very much eric. thank you, great job. it is a great team. a great team. people that have really helped me in washington. we did a lot of things including cutting your taxes, the biggest

before we talk about that i want to bring a person up to the stage was really done an incredible job. he went through a primary with a couple of real pros. i have to say, they have been so fantastic. you did so well and we appreciate it. you know what i'm talking about. you know. incredible. incredible. he went through and he did great, people loved him. he is been a very successful businessman which is really what our country needs. a lot of it has business and common sense. i just say a poll a little while ago, a real poll. you know they have fake poll's. a fake poll is called a suppression. they make you think you can't win so you go see a movie.

don't see a movie. remember me? they said it will be impossible for donald trump to get 270. it is impossible! remember the lines from nbc which is probably worse than cn cnn. [boos] the word is that they are firing the head of nbc, what a great thing to do! so smart! with these people you never know. by the way take a look. todd, everybody, governor, look how many cameras you have back there. it looks like the academy awards. look at it. they can't get enough. when i start screaming fake news, you see those red lights going off. we have technical difficulty. right?

when you are in indiana and do something differently when you are in d.c. joe donnelly voted against tax reform. as a congressman he voted for obamacare. [boos] and then when he could have had the deciding vote, he voted against repealing it. [boos] he voted for the iranian deal and thank goodness we ended that. it is a sad story. he promised to drain the swamp and i want to be an ally, when i get there i'm going there for the right reasons. i gave mike something that i sa saw, the new indianapolis star did a story and i guess it is a poll of some kind. joe donnelly was rated least effective democrat in the senate a new study. it says it was the least effective democrat in the united states senate? senator joe donnelly according to the center for effective lawmaking. who said the democrat for indiana was the worst. according to the center, he introduced two bills in the 114 congress for 2015, 2016 that received some kind of action, the fewest among his colleagues. another of them advance to the floor to a vote.

this wasn't an anomaly it says. the center just said, this wasn't just a one time, one year unusual thing or anomaly. it rang 1055 out of 57. 57. oic, he did better among democrats and the 113th congress. i had to tell you that if that is what you want representing indiana you can have it. you can have it. [boos] joe donnelly voted no on tax cuts. he voted no on obamacare. we had obamacare done if you would have raised his hand. repealed and replaced, he voted no on repeal and replace.

we did get rid of the individual mandate and we brought it down and it is leaving fast. does leaving. joe donnelly voted against the wall for refugees. let the men. open up those borders, open them up. he says open up those borders and let them in. he voted against stopping illegal immigrants from getting welfare. and he repeated voting for amnesty. he wants amnesty! he also voted for the liberal obama judges who want to take away your second amendment and lots of other things. we need to elect senators who will vote for judges who follow our laws and our constitution as written.

like supreme court justice neil gorgeous who is doing a great job. and judge brett kavanaugh who we are trying to through in this election you are not just voting for a candidate, you are voting for which party controls congress. it is a very big vote. people say we have the majority, by how much? buy almost nothing. somebody has a cold, we know longer have the majority. we need republicans in congress. today's democratic party is held hostage by left-wing haters, angry mobs, radicals, establishment cronies and their fake news allies!

[boos] our biggest obstacle in their greatest ally is the media. you can believe it. we've got stories that are so big and the media doesn't pick them up. we have stories, if it was about a republican or conservative, it would be front page of every newspaper. and we have them and they just don't want to write them. a dishonest group of people, i will tell you that. you can have the biggest story about hillary clinton. look at what she is getting away with, but let's see if she gets away with it. let's see.

i can say this, our justice department and our fbi, and said they have incredible people. our justice department and our fbi, they have to start doing their job and doing it right and doing it now. people are angry. people are angry. what's happening is a disgrace. at some point, if it doesn't straighten out properly, i want them to do their job. i will get involved and i'll get in there if i have to periods disgraceful. in the whole world is watching and the whole world gets its period and the whole world understands exactly what is going on.

the democrats, they call themselves there to make the resistance. that is what they're good as, resisting and obstructing. they are obstructionist. every day they are resisting the will of the american people and trying to undermine the verdict of our democracy. delivered so strongly in 2016, like never before. the most remarkable thing about the modern democratic party is how truly undemocratic they really have become. these so-called resistance is mad because their ideas have been rejected by the american people. we are getting rid of those bad ideas one by one, so fast and it is driving them crazy.

they are the old and the corrupt globalist ruling class that squandered trillions of dollars on foreign adventures. they don't want to build a wall here even though we have started. they will build walls and other countries. they will create borders and other lands so far away. but over here, let everybody poor and we don't worry about the crime. it is a disgrace. they've made the worst trade deals in the history of the world. the destruction of american jobs, american companies and american wealth. it was the greatest transfer of wealth and the history of the world. what we did to our companies and to our jobs, we should be ashamed of our leadership.

but not this leadership. we are bringing it back. when we pledge to work over corruption in washington, these are the people we are talking about. in this election we cannot let up. it is happening up. fast. we are going to drain the swamp! we have replaced failed democrat lawmakers with republicans and it is happening. we want people like mike braun. republicans stand for stopping illegal immigration. fixing bad, horrible, obsolete

trade deals. unleashing american energy. cutting taxes, supporting our militaries and our great veterans. our great, great veterans. [chanting usa!]. republicans stand for protecting social security and medicare and medicaid and strengthening the safety net for truly need americans and not aliens and people who come into our country to take advantage of us. democrats want to raise your taxes. we want to lower your taxes.

by the way that doesn't sound like a great campaign theme. we are going to raise your taxes! we are going to fire ice! i don't think that works too well. they want to raise your taxes. we want to take away your regulations, they want to increase your regulations. they want to begin our military. we want the money for our military. they want money for things that you wouldn't believe. they want to shut down your coal mines. [boos] that is not happening. by the way you are up like 60%. you are doing all right. [cheers and applause] i have had such an incredible experience with the minors. just a while ago, backstage, there were nine. these were tough guys, these are seriously tough guys.

i would want to fight these guy guys. of the nine, eight of them were crying. i looked at the nine, they are crying out of happiness because they are back. i looked at the other guy and i said what's wrong with you? he said i don't cry sir. i said that is okay. 8 out of 9 were crying with happiness. and they want to pay for socialism. somehow i don't see indiana being the next venezuela, i just don't. at the center of this election, is the issue of border security so important? we have now started the wall in

san diego and we are doing another 90. it is like pulling teeth to get the money from these democrats. we got $1.6 billion, and then we just got another $1.6 million. now we are asking for a lot more. we could build that thing so quickly. they really -- honestly, even though 2006 almost all of them voted in favor of essentially a wall. now they think it is politically expedient. anything trump wants, please go against. they are not like you my poll numbers, even a little bit. within the republican party, the highest poll numbers. they have 92 and they have 93%. the highest poll numbers ever.

ever! isn't that crazy? i actually asked him. i said, do they do pulling when artist abe lincoln was around? nobody has been able to give me that answer, but i'm assuming they did. we can say that we are beating on estate. democrats want to open borders which really equals allowing into our country massive amounts of crime. republicans want voters, we want no crime. we want great law enforcement. by the way, we love our law enforcement. republicans, just remember this, the mcgrath's want to abolish ice. where did this come from? do you have any idea what ice does? i don't think anybody in this room, unless they are really tough and some people are probably tough enough. and other weaknesses. these are people that go into a nest of ms-13. it's a nest. these are evil people. this is a group of gang members. i can't say animals anymore because nancy pelosi got really angry when i called them animals. i called them animals and she went crazy. i can't do it.

i can't call them animals. even though they have guns, but they don't like using guns because it is not painful enough. they want to slice people up. young girls walking home from school, 16 years old. and they sliced them up. they died. they died. her parents are incredible people. i met their parents, devastated. the reason because it was more painful. and then i call them animals and nancy pelosi gets upset because i am talking about human beings. they don't get it. [boos] they don't get it. so we want to abolish ms-13, they want to abolish ice. ms-13, i grew up in that town.
