tv   Watters World  FOX News  September 8, 2018 11:00pm-12:00am PDT

11:00 pm
>> neither have i. greg: i've had more cavities than i care to remember. how does this happen? jesse: welcome to. "watters' world." i'm jesse watters. president trump and president obama with back-to-back speeches. but their points of view couldn't be more different. here is president trump on jobs. president trump: we added 400,000 manufacturing jobs the democrats were gone and we are going up to 600,000. african-american unemployment is the lowest ever recorded in the
11:01 pm
history of our country. jesse: president obama had a different perspective. he took credit for it. >> when you hear how great the economy is doing right now. let's just remember when this economy started, when the job month numbers come out, suddenly republicans are saying it's a miracle. i have to kind of remind them actually those job numbers are the same as they were in 2015, and 2016. jesse: here with reaction, dr. sebastian gorka and author of the new book, mad politics, keeping your sanity in a world gone craze question, dr. gina loudon. i know you have been glued to
11:02 pm
the television watching president obama over and over because you missed him so much. >> that's not even funny, jesse. i like not to be a subject of dr. gina's books. so my mental health is important to me. i love the trump rallies and watch hide old boss every time i get. the community organizer hard pass. jesse: it's amazing he's trying to take credit for the economy after having the weakest recovery since the great recession. the economy explode, there was a stock market explosion, wages have gone up. there has been a manufacturing explosion. on almost every level it hasn't been a continuation, it's been an explosion. >> we are talking about 4 million jobs. we are talking about all-time
11:03 pm
record growth, we are talking about an economy we have never seen before. we have a businessman in the white house who made all of this happen. i can't remember if obama actually held a job in the private sector. i know he never ran a company or did hard core negotiations. jesse: i will tell president obama, you didn't build that. it's interesting he's lecturing america and saying that we are now in a place of deep hatred and darkness and division. here was with the former president's assessment of the current state of affairs. >> appealing to tribe, appeal ting to fear, pitting one group against another, telling people that order and security will be restored if it weren't for those who don't look like us or don't
11:04 pm
sounds like us or don't pray like we do. that's an old playbook. it's as old as time. jesse: dr. gorka, it wasn't too long ago when barack obama was disparaging the bitter clingers and telling christians to get off their high horses. he's one of the most of divisive presidents in the last 100 years and the polls respect that. he said at the thanksgiving table you need to get in the face of family members who disagree with you. your show has a light touch. but would i like to be serious for a second. what he just said is an affront and a lie. nobody, nobody in the mainstream conservative world, nobody is saying we need to stop the people who look different from
11:05 pm
us. jesse: a true man argument. >> it's reprehensible. if i ever met this man, if i ever met barack obama who is lying in that clip, would i ask him just one question. in the last year the approval rating for donald j. trump from the black american population has doubled, jesse. doubled. how does barack obama explain that? jesse: maybe he says it's kanye's fault because kanye told everybody to listen. but i am making a joke. but you are right, to insult half of america as bigots is so reprehensible coming from a former president. remember this was the first black president. america. the majority of americ mayor --f
11:06 pm
america, red, white and blue, voted for this man twice to occupy the oval office. this country is not a bigoted country it's a beautiful country that respects everybody and listens to what they have to say. >> another correction, we are a republic, not a democracy. but he's the king of identity politics. he divide us again and again for 8 solid years. the division you see on television wasn't created by this president. it's the unemployment at record low. the economy is at record high. everybody benefits from that. that is true equality, the likes of which barack obama wouldn't go no matter what.
11:07 pm
>> we used to debate this on fox news. if you were against islamic tear year would call an islamophobic. if you wanted people to show voter i.d. with you you were considered a racist. if you wanted a country with borders you were considered xenophobic. it's the same old talking points he used for the last 8 years. >> it's tired old snowflake talking points. let me be clear about who the president is. we have this among us in fin piece that was published clearly by nobody who sent serious time in the oval office and never worked closely with the president. donald j. trump does what he does in terms of securing america, in terms of unleashing the economy for all americans.
11:08 pm
he doesn't care less your skin color, your accent, where you were born. the stunning thing about this man, he doesn't care if you voted for him or not. if you voted for hillary. if you wanted bernie to win. he doesn't care. if you are an american here legally he wants you to be safe and he wants you and your flame to prosper. end of story. and the left will never cognitively they will never be able to absorb that truth. jesse: it's the trump derangement syndrome. i am going to call this person a mole in the white house. they wrote this ridiculous "new york times" op-ed. they claim their conservative and they are protecting the country against donald trump. when the president gives orders that should be executed bid
11:09 pm
staff, they prevent some of those orders from being undertaken. the president addressed this -- conspirator within the administration. let's hear what he had to say. president trump: the latest act of resistance is the op-ed published in the failing "new york times" by an anonymous, gutless, coward. unelected deep state operatives who defied the voters to push their own secret agendas are truly a threat to democracy itself. i was so heartened when i looked, it backfired seriously. angry mobs, deep state radicals and their fake news allies. those people are the best. they are the best allies. [crowd booing]
11:10 pm
president trump: you look at "the washington post" or "new york times," i can never get a good story. you look at this horrible thing that happened today. is it subversion? is it treason? >> unequivocally it's treason. if you look at the motivation. in psychology it's an easy thing. look at why the person would do what they do. why would this anonymous coward go to the failing "new york times," if their goal was to hold this fragile administration together. it's nonsensical. it doesn't make logical sense to the rational person. jesse: now they are going to sniff out this rat and they will boot him out. it will inflame everybody at the white house. but it's deeper than that. this fern, his fellow conspirators weren't elected by
11:11 pm
the american people. this person and their little gang, they are subverting democracy. they are unelected. they are like strzok who appointed himself above it all and he is the one that is the great patriot and needs to protect the country against the president. he's the adult in the room. it's the same kind of mentality. and it's deranged and delusional and dangerous. >> this person how don't think actually works in the white house. if you read the they are very carefully it's obvious they haven't spent significant amounts of time in the white house working with the president. jesse: you think it's a snowball player? >> yes, i think it's an obama administration holdover. but it doesn't matter where they work. this sedition. for sedition, you can look it up in the merriam webster, it's the
11:12 pm
active or covert attempt to undermine constitutional law and order. jesse: what's it punishable by? >> it's a serious crime. what do you say? whoever this fern is, they weren't elected. they have no right to say i represent the real america. and therefore i get to sabotage the person that more than 60 million americans chose to run the country. if you have a problem with that president, resign, start a political party and run against the next candidate in the next election. this is why donald trump won. because of these people. they think they are above americans. jesse: it reinforces the whole swamp narrative. president barack obama weighed in on the whole mole deal.
11:13 pm
listen. >> by the way, the claim everything will turn out okay because there arepeople inside the white house who secretly aren't following the president's orders, that is not a check -- i'm being serious here. that's not how our democracy is supposed to work. these people aren't elected. they are not accountable. they are not doing us a service by actively promoting 90% of the crazy stuff coming out of this white house, then say don't worry, we are preventing the other 10%. jesse: i think there were a few obama-era people doing that, sally yates, strzok, comey, mccabe. all these people of kind of doing the same thing. >> note to president obama web's
11:14 pm
not elected now either. maybe he should do the classy thing and get the heck out of the way like all the presidents before him have done. if people want to listen to somebody's book, maybe they listen to books like my book and dr. gorka's book. we actually know the president. jesse: it was an abrogation of decorum for a president to do what he did. but it wouldn't be the first time president obama has broken decorum. coming up, the white house is here to hand out some awards. but not for fake news. we have a brand-new awards show coming up next. this isn't just any moving day.
11:15 pm
11:16 pm
11:17 pm
11:18 pm
this is moving day with the best in-home wifi experience and millions of wifi hotspots to help you stay connected. and this is moving day with reliable service appointments in a two-hour window so you're up and running in no time. show me decorating shows. this is staying connected with xfinity to make moving... simple. easy. awesome. stay connected while you move with the best wifi experience and two-hour appointment windows. click, call or visit a store today. jesse: brett kavanaugh's supreme court hearings kicked off with a bang. there is so much political drama you would think democrats are up for an oscar. so we wanted to honor them with their own award. to help hand them out is white house communication advisor mercedes schlapp. we took a look at some of the
11:19 pm
best performances from the week. we decided kamala harris,ed the senator from california would be given the rudest senator award. >> on the nomination of judge brett kavanaugh. >> mr. chairman. >> to serve as associate justice x like to be recognized for a question before we proceed. >> you are out of order i am going to proceed. >> we cannot possibly move forward. we have not been give even an opportunities. >> i wants to welcome his wife ashley, their two daughters. >> have you discussed mueller and the investigation with anyone at the law firm. mark kasowitz. be sure about your answer, sir, it's a specific question. >> i need to know the person you are thinking of. >> i think you are thinking of someone and you don't want to
11:20 pm
tell us. jesse: she interrupts and then gets snarky with someone who is probably a lot smarter and a lot more savvy. >> i think we are confusing senator kamala harris with the protesters. it was amazing to watch how disrespectful she was to senator grassley as he was trying to get the basic introduction. one thing you are missing, senator harris basically referred to the constitution to quote that book that you are carrying. she said that. no kidding. that book, our constitution. jesse: wasn't she a big shot litigator in san francisco? i don't want to disparage her too much, she is very talented, she comes across as very charismatic and she is a darling
11:21 pm
of the left. but she is turning into a little bit of a villain if you ask me. this is the best male performance in a drama. i will give this to cory booker. listen to this. >> i appreciate that i'm a bit after trailblazer. i sincerely believe the public deserves to know this nominee's record. his record on issues of race and the law. and i could not understand and i violated this rule knowingly, why these issues should be withheld from the public. that's the closest i will have in my life to an i am spartacus moment. >> that was like a political ad. are you going to hand that over to cory? come on. obviously he emboldened himself, comparing himself to the gladiator. but we know those documents were
11:22 pm
already cleared for relies. the rest of america might not have known that. >> he tried to make kavanaugh look racist. it turns out it made kavanaugh look not racist. so it blew up in his face. the next award, and i think you will agree with me on this selection. this goes to senator horono from hawaii as the most of unprepared. i have to say i am forced to watch this because this is my job. we have seen many hearings with this senator hirono and she is constantly reading from her notes. it's like she has no original thought in her head and always seems confused. >> mr. chairman, it is also -- it's not regular order for the majority to require the minority to free clear documents and the
11:23 pm
videos we would like to use at this hearing. that is understand press dented and not regular order. since when? jesse: i love her, i think she means well. but she doesn't come across as someone who is just there all the time. >> i don't know if it was because of over 12 hours of hearing a day that she lost track of the documents she was reviewing. but one of the things she tried to do was accuse judge kavanaugh of being biased. and quite frankly when you look at the documents, it was more about mainstream legal thinking and judge calf enough addressed that issue eloquently. jesse: lastly we'll play some sound from blumenthal who tried to humiliate kavanaugh. he lied about going war in vietnam. >> of course i know mr. mueller
11:24 pm
personally from my prior experience -- i knew him when we worked together in the bush administration. but i have had no discussions of the kind that i think you are asking about. >> well, i'm asking about the kind you are thinking about, not myself. >> well, i haven't had any discussion of the kind i'm thinking about either. jesse: he lies about going to war, then tries to accuse kavanaugh of not having integrity. got it. mercedes, thank you so much. it was a great awards and i will see you at the oscars. alex jones permanently banned from twitter. i'll show you what he did on capitol hill.
11:25 pm
11:26 pm
11:27 pm
11:28 pm
11:29 pm
now back to. "watters' world." [♪] jesse: a lot of fake news making the rounds. it all begins with bob word
11:30 pm
ward's -- would be woodward's book. >> i'm sorry we missed the opportunity to talk about the book. >> i asked kellyanne, she said she never got a message. who did you ask about speaking to me. did you speak to madeleine? madeleine is the keyed. she is the secret. she is the person. >> i talked to kelly. >> a lot of them are afraid to come and talk. i'm bris busy. but i don't mind talking to you. i've got to go talk to people and see them outside of the white house and outside of their offices. and gained a lot of insight and documentation. and it's a tough look at the world and your administration and you. too well, i assume that means it's going to be a negative
11:31 pm
book. i'm sort of 50% used to that. that's all right. some are good, some are bad. it sounds like there is be a bad one. jesse: congressman matt gaetz. i think the big takeaway from that phone call is madeleine is the key. madeleine is the crucial player and everyone should respect madeleine. but it looks like this book is going to be to be heavily negative. it's sad, because there are so many positive things going on inside the administration that republican and democratic administrations have been trying to fix for years, isis, north korea. bob woodward is a very good reporter, by the seems like 100% negative. >> i think his best days are
11:32 pm
behind him and it should be his book will be cataloged in the fiction center of every library in america. james mattis and john kelly denied what he said in the book. we can see people across the country doing better and that will matter more than the fictitious palace intrigue inside the white house. jesse: jobs, wages are up, and all you hear about is gossip. it is a shame. let's turn to the kavanaugh hearings. there is a major conspiracy theory circulating all over the internet. look at this woman behind kavanaugh. she is making some sort of hand gesture. the left on the internet said this is a white supremacist
11:33 pm
signal she was showcasing for the entire world to see. it turns out ironically she is of mexican' descent and her parents escaped the holocaust. >> imagine how embarrassed i was, i saw her thumb and index finger together and i thought she was shows her support for kavanaugh's interests in marijuana reform. >> people want to focus on the absurd rather than the substance. the fact that this is what the left has to try to draw attention to shows brett kavanaugh must be doing a good job answering actual ask questions. jesse: he's running circles around these senators.
11:34 pm
and he's making them look unprepared. another incidents to distract from their inability to nail him with veal questions, i believe a father of a slain young student sat parkland, i believe his name was fred gutenberg, went up to kavanaugh after the hearing and tried to shake his hand. this picture circulated all over the internet. everybody said kavanaugh refuses to shake the hand of a grieving parkland father. if you watch the video, the father comes and rushes over to kavanaugh and kavanaugh is confused, and he doesn't know who this guy is. and this is after a hearing where a bunch of maniacs have been shrieking and causing mayhem so it's unable why kavanaugh wouldn't embrace some strange person confronting him.
11:35 pm
>> the media would have you believe this is the first time someone has been left hanging at a confirmation process since merrick garland. you don't know precisely who is approaching you. if this is what they have to focus on, the answers must be pretty good. i'm glad lindsey graham approached this. he has seen the pain the people have been sle d have been throu. jesse: you know what i do in this situation? i shake everyone's hand. >> or a fist bump. jesse: it looks like the shock jock alex jones went over to capitol hill during a bunch of these hearings and confronted marco rubio about social media
11:36 pm
banning. and it got testy. let's watch this exchange. >> who are you? >> infowars. >> your platform didn't work. don't touch me. don't touch me. >> you want me to get arrested. you will beat me up? >> i didn't say that. jesse: that got a little nasty. then twitter is now permanently banned alex jones from its platform and that's it. i guess he's done, he's kicked off of everywhere. it's crazy what's going on these days. >> alex jones has been thrown off twitter and facebook and if
11:37 pm
marco rubio had his way he would have been thrown off the capitol balcony. i think the marketplace can accommodate his views. you have got silicon valley trying to reorient the marketplace. i don't want the silicon valley running my life. you will see conservatives making sure we are not silenced or shadow-banned on social media. jesse: coming up, diamond and silk and the

11:39 pm
11:40 pm
11:41 pm
jesse: massive outrage avenue key chose former nfl quarterback, colin kaepernick as the face of his 30th anniversary campaign.
11:42 pm
he's featured in their newest ad saying believe in something, fun it means sacrificing everything. >> believe in something, fun it means sacrificing everything. don't ask if your dreams are crazy. ask if they are crazy enough. jesse: many are calling for a company boycott and they began burning nike products. joining me with reaction, diamond and silk. ladies, you look like you wear adidas. >> we wear high heeled shoes. i don't think nike thought this all the way out. to put on as the faces of your brand that is controversial and un-american.
11:43 pm
i think nike has become the creator of their own demise. as long as he's the face of thatted brand and wants to disrespect and destroy the orthodox of america, and disrespect our american flag. that's not going to happen. listen, we are not going to sacrifice america for no shoes. >> there are so many people nike could have used that today kri nice it all for the cause, like our veterans. and look at our president donald j. trump who sacrificed his millionaire life for america. and look at diamond and silk. jesse: i don't know which one would have been more controversial. but that's neither here nor there. elizabeth warren, another
11:44 pm
controversial figure, donald trump calls letter pocahontas. she believes the president is mentally ill enough for people in the administration to remove him from office. >> if senior administration officials think the president of the united states is not able to do his job, they should invoke the 25th amendment. jesse: what do you think of elizabeth warren? >> shame on elizabeth warren. the person who advocates for illegal aliens. the president is putting americans first. to take a salacious op-ed and tie that to the president and say we need to invoke the 25th amendment, how about we vote elizabeth warren out. let's do that. we want people working for the american people. i'm not interested in what someone wrote in an op-ed.
11:45 pm
>> they want to get him out. >> because they know they can't beat him in 2020. that's why they are saying impeach him and invoke the 25th amendment. >> is there any amendment we can invoke on her to vote her out? jesse: i think that's up to the people of massachusetts who haven't been doing a very good job when it comes to voting, if you know what i mean. elon musk. he has this big company, the futurist, he's designing great technologies. he's kind of crashing and burning. watch him drink whiskey and smoke pot on a podcast. is elon musk okay? dose need an intervention? >> he's the ceo, so he is going to be under public scrutiny. he can't be sitting on a podcast
11:46 pm
getting high. that doesn't look good. jesse: don't do it on a podcast. just do it at home by yourself. just keep making nice cars. diamond, i noticed the new hairstyle. are you copying me? i think i noticed a trend

jesse: president trump is furious over a white house mole working against him. president trump: anonymous gutless coward. for the sake of our national security, the "new york times" should publish his name at once. i think their reporters should investigate how it is. jesse: who is the white house mole? party bros are here to find out. guys, first before we get started. what happened to your hair? >> jesse, good to see you. actually it's come to our attention that the coral in the ocean is bleaching itself because it's so stressed and the ocean is so hot. and it's not cool when it
11:51 pm
bleaches itself. it make it super susceptible to mortality. it's dying. so jt and i bleached our hair to stand in solidarity with the coral. >> a lot of people don't know. because it's out of sight, out of dome. we are bringing awareness because it's on our domes. we and with you, dog, we are bleached with you. jesse: chad, you have got a nice flow going, but j.t., you look like a chia head. >> jesse, dude, that was a savage burn. and on tv? some of the dude in the squad have been hating on the look. but i love it. chad has been more optimistic about how we look. >> for sure. it was an adjustment period, but it's for a good cause. we wanted to be like the ice
11:52 pm
bucket challenge. people out there, if you want to help coral, bleach your hair like chad and i. >> and you have to challenge people, i challenge warren buffet. >> and i challenge jeff bezos. we want our dads to do it, too. jesse: i didn't mean to burn you that hard. i do that because i love, jt, i wouldn't do that if i didn't have love for you. i want to get your take on this mole in the white house. it's kind of sabotaging the president. how would you guys smoke out this mole? >> wow, with weed, you mean? jesse: figuratively, or with weed. >> for sure. >> i don't know. you have got to make people feel comfortable if you want them to reveal stuff.
11:53 pm
>> i would get vulnerable and have a heart to heart. sorry for whatever caused you to be oh mole-like. but let's talk it out. i can sure we can come to a compromise. >> put the onus on yourself. i was probably doing stuff that made you feel like you had to be a mole and write articles about your moleless. maybe i'm sorry for that. so you are coming from a place where both are making concessions. jesse: that's a very elevated i approach. i think that could work. i will talk to kellyanne about it next week. speaking of washington, d.c. a lot of action on capitol hill. kavanaugh is probably going to be confirmed to be the next supreme court justice. what do the party bros think about kavanaugh? >> well, dude, like i thought it
11:54 pm
would have a lot of formality. i am not big on formalities. i like to kick it one-on-one. when you are confronted by microphones and questions, you know, it's hard to let your true self come out. i would like them to have a powwow. >> i feel like in terms of the committee papers, if it's not national security or super personal like std tests, release that stuff. everyone has to be boned up on what's relevant. jesse: the guys i know are boned up about the coral situation. jt and chad looking smooth with the fresh locks. glad to have you back on.
