5:01 pm
she didn't tell a soul about it for three decades. there is significant inconsistencies in her account but we have never doubted her sincerity and we never questioned her motives. unless we learn new facts that give us reason to, we won't do that. we will give her every benefit of every doubt. but there is another side as well. brett kavanaugh. he also has a family and a career and a reputation. all have been gravely damaged by the claims. the democrats could have helped clear it up weeks ago if they asked kavanaugh about ford's story as he sat before them for days in the u.s. senate. that is what hearings are for. but they didn't do that. instead they hid what they knew to cause maximum political damage. in the process they overturned his life. they also overturn chrstine blasey ford's life. she asked to remain anonymous. democrats betrayed her and dragged her in the public eye. ford says she has had to leave her home because of threats. al democrats in the senate did that for partisan advantage. you should keep that in mind the next time they lecture you about how much they care about

's a tribal world view where people are not regarded as individuals with distinct personalities but faithless member of ethnic blocs sorted by genes and how you are born determines your belief. but remember, you are nazi here. so shut up. you find this brand of the hard identity politics disgusting or you don't. hillary clinton is drawn to it like a bear of doughnuts and she came out of semi-retirement to weigh in at length on cable news. this is how she said the trump administration should respond to allegations against brett kavanaugh. watch. >> the white house could answer it very quickly by asking the f.b.i. to reopen

she sounded different then like a different person. but she was fighting for political power. listen so how she belittles the claims of the abuse survivors. >> we are right in the middle of a rather vigorous feeding frenzy. people are saying all coop of things, putting out the rumor and innuendo. very unfortunate turn of events that we are using the criminal justice system to try to achieve political ends in this country. i think a lot of this is deliberately designed to sensational charges against my husband because everything else they tried has failed. the great story here for anybody willing to find it and write about it and explain it is the vast right wing conspiracy that has been conspiring against my husband since the day he announced for president. >> tucker: how times have changed. one thing that has not changed is thor -- torrent of

definitively what year it supposedly happened. why would the f.b.i. be involved? no one alleged a federal crime. if you want justice you'd bring it to police in the maryland. a state with no statute of limitations on sex crimes. how would it end? ford says kavanaugh was a juvenile at the time. if evidence of guilty emerged would he be tried as a minor? would the record be sealed afterwards so it wouldn't overshadow his life? if that sounds like absurd questions, the whole thing is absurd. the democrats don't care about chrstine blasey ford or they wouldn't have ousted her in the first place. they care about keeping a republican off the court. that's fine. if that is the case, make the case why kavanaugh's ideas are wrong. but don't destroy a man simply because he is in the way. that is what they are doing and the rest of us should stop playing along and say it out loud. christie is joining us. thank you for coming on. first, who cares about chrstine blasey ford? if you really cared about her
