jillian: here with more media director for campus reform, thank you for your time. what did you make of what you heard? >> fascinating, especially president obama's comments, if the economy was not booming the way it is he would be washing hand of this, saying once the president is out of office the economy has nothing to do with him but now that it is booming under the leadership of donald trump it has everything to do with me, my economy. when it comes to young people's perception it is fascinating. the left overplay their hands. they have been convincing and people donald trump would be doomsday come millions will die, the economy will crash, prepare for armageddon and that hasn't happened. young people are talking to their friends and parents and a lot of them are realizing there has never been a better time to be a young person. if you are graduating college there are more job openings, more opportunity, no better time to start a business. a lot of people are waking up to that fact and that is positive for republicans and donald trump.

millennials but generations the, campus reform, the generation that came of age under president obama's economy of economic uncertainty and for the first time in our lives they are seeing economic certainty, stock market booming, unemployment rates go way down. a lot of people may not agree with donald trump's personal decisions, things about his character, they are coming out and say i approve of his economic handling of the economy. jillian: did you get the sense most students are excited to get out into the workforce after they graduate because of the economy? >> there has never been more economic confidence among young people so i think people are realizing the opportunities and it is important to remember with the midterms coming up, people coming out saying they want to be part of the resistance but when people look at the economy which is an important issue for most voters how many of them are going to say when it comes down to it i don't want to mess up what is going on. do we want to elect new people to office?

>> in many ways the attorney general races are underrated. democrats said after donald trump got elected they would use the courts and attorney generals to fort trump and the republicans agenda. jillian: let's start in minnesota. a lot of focus on democrat keith ellison. >> all eyes on keith ellison. he has been a controversial figure for a long time for being anti-israel, powelling around with louis farrakhan and recently was accused of domestic abuse allegations from a former girlfriend and one of the things democrats are talking about is charges against him and putting them under the rug versus brett kavanaugh. heather: what do you think will happen? >> i think that vote will win. he has come from behind.

the attention focuses on keith ellison, the better he will be. jillian: a democrat here, conversation surrounding him, he works in the obama administration. >> a lot framed this race. and wiser is a professor who worked in the obama administration versus an experienced prosecutor, he prosecuted the aurora shooting and run statewide. >> how do you see this playing out? >> qualifications matter in attorney general race is more than a lot of other races and the fact that there's more experience as a prosecutor and district attorney, that really helps him.

elizabeth: jillian: in michigan, that is a skill for trump in 2016. >> it was huge for donald trump in 2016. people said he couldn't win. this is one of those races are you have a leader in the state representative, a recent poll had her ahead here. this is one of those races that will be close to watch because a lot of liberal groups are supporting, and she has had criticism on the fact she called for legalizing marijuana. for in attorney general to say that, there is pushback even in democratic areas. jillian: heading to ohio always important and an election. >> florida, ohio. you have two good candidates on both sides of the aisle. the state auditor has a lot of attention, he used his auditor position to clean a public corruption and scandals and corruption in schools. steve dettelback worked in the

ministries and that there's nothing barack obama on his website. jillian: florida is the race to watch? >> i think so in a lot of ways. in florida everyone is focused on the governors race but the attorney general's race really matters. the republicans are excited about that. i heard somebody say she is a judge, a prosecutor, a mom. her husband worked in law enforcement. she won a primary where she was significantly -- comes from a political family. he is a former attorney, never prosecuted a case in florida. that will be an issue. jillian: at the end of the day -- >> in florida, she won't run away. she will be competitive. i give her the edge. jillian: thank you for joining
