process is there to protect you. don't care if it is a job interview, the supreme court or court of law. if you have been accused of a serious crime you are presumed innocent in the united states no matter what. the question becomes whether the evidence we saw yesterday is enough for anyone to do anything at this point and the prosecutor, rachel mitchell did a better job than people give her credit for because what she did was establish that there is not enough there there. she essentially established the gaps in the story of doctor ford are so great that even if you believe doctor ford is believes what she said about what she said what she didn't talk about, how she got there, how she got home, the month, the year, these gaps in the story were so great that no lawyer in this context would move forward with it and you caught her in a lie where she couldn't testify on monday because she was fearful of flying but she turns out she travels by airplane all the time.

that hurt the credibility of the whole context. the presumption of innocence applies to brett kavanaugh. i don't see what the senate can do but vote to confirm. rob: i thought she seemed very believable and after she went i thought he was toast and then he went and i thought he seemed very believable. they both did a great job. i thought the things that hurt him the most were the fact this market judge is hiding at a beach house and doesn't want to say anything in front of the committee, that really hurt and i thought durban hit a knockout punch when he asked to call the fbi investigation, not that he wouldn't do it but wouldn't give a good explanation why he didn't want to which it is a delay tactic, you're trying to keep me off the court, he didn't have a good answer. >> i thought rachel mitchell did a good job because she established the fact that diane feinstein, senator from california was sitting on the information about this and when she interviewed brett kavanaugh,

when they asked 1500 questions of brett kavanaugh they don't ask anything -- suggest the democrat did not find, did not find ford's story credible or they were doing this as a delay tactic. you don't want to reward bad behavior in any context. allowing democrats to delay this for political reasons absent a compelling reason which i don't think you have here you don't want to reward them for this kind of gamesmanship. it is not a good precedent to set for this country. jillian: what you think happens now to brett cavanagh and his career going forward? >> if they vote against brett kavanaugh based on these allegations and on this testimony i think essentially the presumption of innocence and due process has gone away in the country. it will establish such a dangerous precedent that it will be a horrible outcome and the reality is brett cavanagh will
