a new start of the democratic party. should they be rewarded for what they have done? it is been a national disgrace. where you don't have the presumption of innocence. thank you for being with us, we'll be back tomorrow night with more answers. laura's next. >> laura: hannity, do you think that nancy pelosi actually sleeps with the gavel? you think the gavel is right there? people have a teddy bear or a bank he, like a blank key. the gavel. >> hannity: that she is going to hate you and me in the head with it. >> laura: oh, my gosh. sean, you got a fantastic show tonight. we are missing you in washington. spew and i'm glad be out of there but i am back in the high tax swap. >> laura: hannity, thank you so much. welcome to "the ingram angle," washington, kavanaugh is cleared. that according to an fbi report that every senator has read at this hour. and moments we will show you how the left is lashing out in
7:01 pm
response. we will get exclusive reaction from the white house, kelly conway joins us live. marilyn matlin makes a rare television appearance and matt slap will be along as well. in one week after his fiery defense of judge kavanaugh becoming the rallying cry for conservatives, lindsey graham joins me tonight on where things stand now and where they go from here. plus, an increment angle investigation. we've been doing some digging into just how christina ford's name was leaked. stay here for that. but first, the democrats desperate salvage operation. that is the focus of tonight's angle. after another week of delay in the kavanaugh confirmation saga the fbi supplemental report is in. it appears that the democrats have lost another one. >> what we know for sure is at the fbi report did not cooperate
7:02 pm
any of these allegations against judge kavanaugh. >> laura: even the undecided hamlet finger, jeff flake says the report doesn't show any cooperation while susan collins calls it very thorough. let me say again, the report, all 46 changes a bit apparently produced is zero evidence to back up the accusation of his accusers. as we have come to expect, straightforward, factual revelations have zero influence on democrats going wild across america. for instance at the university of vermont they held a canceled class, cancel brett kavanaugh rally. how clever. and brooklyn, new york, and bel air, maryland, there were similar calls to kill his nomination. here in washington, d.c., the hate machine was ramped up to full throttle. >> our democracy has been hijacked by the powerful and
7:03 pm
they don't plan to share it. i am angry. let me make this clear. i have a plan. >> laura: but -- isn't anger most effective when becomes a chance? >> we are. >> we are. about two. about two. march! >> we need. >> we need. >> >> everyone. >> everyone. >> to pay attention! >> to pay attention! >> laura: who needs chance that rhyme anyway? what would anti-brett kavanaugh pro-abortion protest be without a few hollywood heavyweights. model emily showed some outrage and some midriff. comedian amy schumer was as usual politically understated. >> a vote for kavanaugh is a boat saying women don't matter.
7:04 pm
let's say together. let's fight! let's keep showing up! >> laura: the good thing is that when she was arrested she actually didn't have to put on prison garb's. she was artie wearing it. all over the capital there were survivors, costing senators undecided about his nomination. they attempted at one point, you will love this, to pull a jeff flake and bully senators like joe manchin and to casting a "no" vote. >> as a survivor i don't understand how you can look me in the eye. >> how are you not listening to us? >> i am. >> are you? you're going to get into this elevator. how are you going to vote? tell me! >> laura: i love that. step back. why are they always said, look at me?
7:05 pm
we see you, believe me we are reverting your gaze. >> the harassment tactics. i think they are total turnoff. americans just don't like the stuff. most people just want things to calm down. >> laura: the tracking poll has a presence approval at 50%. not bad. a new poll finds it had 40%, a four-point gain from last month. even better, that same poll shows that the supercharged enthusiasm is on the republican side. the democrats advantage, tanked! 11 points last month, to just two points this month. still, the democrats will not give up. >> the most notable part of this report is what is not not an i. as we noted by the white house, the fbi did not interview brett kavanaugh. nor did the fbi interview
7:06 pm
dr. ford. >> given how limited these documents were and how limited the scope of this investigation was, we are reiterating our call that the documents with proper redaction be made public. why shouldn't all of america facts? >> laura: okay, i think you should have worn a white scarf for surrender. don't you think that would've been more appropriate? americans to have the facts. democrats wanted a witch hunt and it fizzled over a lack of evidence. the fact that americans will not focus on are the ones he left for the most. the economic record of donald j. trump. jobless claims have dropped to a 49 year low. we now have 4.2% gdp growth with projections now to match that in the upcoming quarter. manufacturing jobs -- but remember president obama said they were never coming back? they are growing at the fastest rate in 23 years.
7:07 pm
trump's republican party is actually offering something called results. also one foreign policy, trade, the agenda that people voted for. meanwhile, the democrats offer americans only this. >> why aren't you brave enough to talk to us? >> don't you wave your hand at me. i wave my hand at you. >> how dare you talk to women that way. >> senator, do you believe woman? >> laura: is it over yet? there we go. the door has closed. democrats are still howling or screeching, you just heard that. again, none of this is a governing agenda. it is just more chaos, harassment, anger and agitation. and you really want to vote for more of that in november? and that the angle.
7:08 pm
joining me now is ariel gold, a former cloak, clerk brett kavanaugh, a former advisor for both president bush and vice president cheney, mary matlin. first ariel, go to you. democrats kind of complain that they want an fbi investigation and now they got it. now they are wanting something that is not enough. what is enough? zero evidence, 46 pages, even susan collins says it is thorough. speak with him the real question is, why so many women republican senators are not caring about the experiences of women and specifically i was in susan collins office tonight with a bunch of protesters, most of whom were her own constituents and she refused to come and meet with them. >> laura: so you just barged in? is that your new tactic? >> why shouldn't consistencies
7:09 pm
of their office representatives. >> that's out of the screaming earlier in the elevator, do you think anyone finds that in any way enticing, influential, attractive, convincing? screaming is not convincing. it is kind of just cover your ears stuff. i don't get how you think you that is working you got slammed out. speak out to my stomach >> we saw over 3,000 people arrested. >> laura: [applause] 300 people ! i have a question. the people of jobs? how do you guys do this? i know you get paid. do you get paid by code pink? >> i am on staff. >> laura: see that pay to do this. i see people or are either ther their parents are paying them to be there. >> i'm a mother of two children. my daughter is 15. i am worried for what this means to him her, the message that she
7:10 pm
is getting. >> laura: you are worried your daughter will not be able to watch? >> i am worried my daughter is getting a message from congress that her experiences, her safety is not important. >> laura: is it about abortion? you were your daughter is not going to be able to get an abortion? >> i'm also aware that my daughter would not have the right. >> laura: i just want to know what we are talking about? okay, that is fine. mary matlin, you don't do a lot of tv anymore but you know the brett kavanaugh, you've known him for years. it's like he is a trump republican, he was a bush guy. a bush appointee on the d.c. circuit. mary, you saw this play out today. there is a lot of enthusiasm, lot of anger and agitation on the left. they feel like they have momentum even if they lose the fight against him. how do you feel? >> it is anarchy. this is not to civil discourse. it is anarchy and it is destruction of the culture.
7:11 pm
in my day of feminism, there was a string that a woman needs a man. we talked about not needing men, to wanting to castrate men, emasculate men. do know it will affect generations, when men are behaving like sissies and women are behaving like anarchists. that to the definition of successful feminism. if you want to stand up for women, what about ashley's, sweet little ashley kavanaugh who sat outside of president bush's office? the epitome of class and decoru decorum. a staff secretary , unequivocal discretion. this huge record today. his friend was a friend of ours is being attacked on facebook. they will probably run him out
7:12 pm
of there because he is attended the hearings of kavanaugh whose wedding he was in. they've been friends for 20 years. this is politics? this is really about culture. people are sick of everything. from the city accuracy that is using, every element of our culture. from football to public restrooms. >> you can't get away from it. >> you can't go anywhere. >> laura: you can't do anything. everybody has to be angry. go ahead. >> of the many incredible miraculous things that president trump has done. nothing short of a miracle. he has done it in the face of constant thwarting and lying in fallacious nests. these barrel attacks on him and his person and his people. they are taking cabinet members out of restaurants. they are sending private

information to senators. he has exposed the hypocrisy and the ineptitude of the loyal opposition. senator spartacus. people are tuning in and saying who are these people? who is this blumenthal guy? lsn? what is the standard? your girlfriend being beat up and you have medical records and you have no cooperation on brett kavanaugh. >> laura: it's a double standard. jennifer, i want to go to you. the cover of "time" magazine that you've probably seen. we'll put it up on the screens of people see it. it has a letter to white women who support brett kavanaugh. we need you to stand for women who are breaking this despite of their terror and shame. i believe inside the bodies of some of those women at the rallies where other impulses and feelings they weren't

expressing. time is short, call your senators. stop laughing and start fightin fighting. it is kind of like, you white women, how dare you laugh at survivors. how dare you dismiss survivors. that is kind of an emotional thing. if someone is a survivor, no one should laugh at them. no one wants to laugh at them and yet this is not how people are seeing it. >> my background -- judge kavanaugh is an excellent jurist and he himself has a lot of care for his woman. more than half of his law clerk for women. he has done an amazing job of mentoring us. >> laura: we all know that. anything that you saw when you are working for him. he was a judge for 12 years, 36 clerks? >> 48. >> laura: 48 clerks. anything you saw in his behavior
7:15 pm
towards the more than half of the clerks being women would give you pause about the way he treats women? >> absolutely not. >> laura: nothing? >> no. nothing close to anything like that. absolutely gracious, perfectly above. >> laura: were a shock to hear about these allegations when they were first leaked? >> it was shocking. judge kavanaugh along the way, the entire time denied them. they are so inconsistent with everything i know about him. he's been an advocate for fair law unfair use of the law for women and men. i think of the senate confirms him, he will abide the constitution fairly and really try to look for justice for all americans. >> laura: area, what is next for code pink? >> hannity: has lost this round. >> we are not done. we'll be out there tomorrow.
7:16 pm
>> laura: doing watch? >> we will be out there in the halls and in the streets calling -- for him to step down. to have a nomination of somebody with a different temperament. somebody who hasn't lied under oath. somebody doesn't have these accusations. there are tons of people that have squeaky clean records that we could see be nominated. >> laura: so so you be in favor of a very strong woman. seven kids. you'd be in favor of a woman? >> i'm not saying i would be in favor of one specifically, but it's about the nomination. >> laura: we got code pink on the record. amy is more appropriate than a brett kavanaugh. watch what you ask for. thank you so much. mary, great seeing you by the way. we want you one more. here with reaction to how the white house is feeling, kellyanne conway. kelly and, thank you so much for being here. staying up late for us. >> of course.
7:17 pm
>> laura: any concern from the white house about where this vote count stands? >> we are feeling very confident that everything the democrats and dr. ford has asked to be done over the last two and half weeks had been done. the fbi supplemental is completed. this is the seventh fbi vetting that has been conceded on jeff kavanaugh including two justice calendars. now it is time for vote. we feel pretty confident. i'm looking to get ahead of those were still sitting on the fence but i will tell you that there there are some red state democrats who have a decision to make. tent that night seat filled they can go and be complacent with the process that has been fraught with hysterics and
7:18 pm
hyperbole and hyper partisanshi partisanship. democrats trying to undo election results from two years ago, i just have to slow down this nomination to get ahead of the midterm elections this year. they have to decide whether they are going to be a part of that. they own all of those protesters if they vote against judge kavanaugh. they own all the hysterics come all the craziness that you see there. i think we will have the votes. he ought to be confirmed. by the way, what has happened in her culture, mary magdalene is correct. it won't go away when he is nominated. it's about dignity and integrity. >> laura: they are out there tomorrow. they've a right to protest. this is america a parody of a right to protest as long as it is civil. richard blumenthal in connecticut, my home state. he said this today about this process. let's watch. >> it strikes me as really and neglect of the fbi's duty.
7:19 pm
the fbi is not responsible. i think the blame lies with the white house that straitjacketed this investigation. >> laura: you heard that throughout the protest that this investigation was circumscribed, artificially the deadline was artificial. the real fact and get out. this was a rush job. frankly a con job. that is what the left and the protesters were saying. >> well, he is lying and of course he has a history of not being able to tell the truth. he lied about his service and vietnam. he didn't serve in vietnam he served during vietnam. that is not the difference of just a word. this is someone who sat right behind her last week when she said i want to tell the men of america to shut up and he smirked. i guess he didn't understand what she said. that is one thing i agree with. he should definitely stop lying about the fbi and this investigation and with the white house did or didn't do.
7:20 pm
the people that dr. ford herself says couldn't cooperate were part of the fbi investigation. guess what? they couldn't cooperate her allegation it turns out. you have these senators who have very successfully come forward. i think this is a thorough investigation. one said there is not a hint of any misconduct. that the allegations have not been cooperated. the point is this, there is no nominee that president trump is going to put forward that will satisfy liberals. there is no nominee that they will ever like. they had to admit that this is about the midterms. being of the midterms, i want to thank all these crazy liberals because they have done something that -- they have energized this. >> laura: five more weeks. >> there is no question about i it. these folks have a right to protest. the first amendment says you can

>> laura: is a confirmation vote for a brett kavanaugh looks sad this weekend we can forget what happened at the very start of this whole thing. most importantly, how did reporters get their hands on christine blasey ford's account in the first place? "the washington post" says that she made the initial contact through the anonymous tip line. and only after she had built a rapport with the reporter, she decided to come forward and give her on the record accounts. i want to play this moment during the hearing that really
7:25 pm
jumped out at me when i first watched it. i don't think it's getting enough attention. ford was asked about the decision to come forward and said this. >> ultimately because reporters were sitting outside of my home, a reporter appeared and my graduate classroom and i must occur for a student. she came up to asking a question and i thought that she was a student and it turned out that she was a reporter. >> laura: "the washington post" in the statement reaffirmed that ford came to them solely through their tip line and that it was under some other outlets i confronted her at her home and place of residence. where does that leave us? back to democratic members of the senate judiciary committee, remember senator feinstein was confronted about possible leaks last week and had this kind of interesting exchange with senator john. >> can you tell us that your

staff did not leak it? >> i don't believe my staff would leak it. i have not asked that question directly. >> do you know that? have you asked them? >> adjusted. pardon me? jennifer remind me come i've asked you before about it >> laura: well, the jennifer she referenced there is a woman named jennifer duck, her longtime chief of staff who now works on the judiciary committee for the democrats. it seems to be the authority on the question of leaks. we take the post as her words that their involvement in the story came solely through the tip line but we are less clear on how the other reporters found themselves in possession of her identity? it is strange. we reached out to her office for clarity and as a 5 minutes ago they had not gotten back to us. here to react, howard kurtz, the

"the new york times" ," it's abt a woman. and then it was a buzz feed reporter, a liberal site that went to her home. and finally the new yorker gets the actual letter and publishes it. christine ford said, people know who i am. journalist know who i am. i will tell my own story. >> laura: matt, the idea that some person like christine ford, i will just type it on the anonymous tip line. something about the story just

lawyers, they were trying to aggressively push her to be public. they were actually leaking on dr. ford to get her out there. they wanted the motions of that hearing. that is what they wanted. they thought that would derail at all. they got the opposite. >> laura: how we, "the washington post" responded to us today by saying "nobody leak anything to us. she decided she was willing to put her name on the record after reporters from other outlets appeared at her home and workplace at which time we decided to publish her story." again, does that ring true? >> it is true that "the washington post" didn't go with it without her interviews, the therapist notes at all that. they try to do a legitimate investigation. i have covered so many of these stories. it becomes an open secret. a source tells one report, may be a source tells two reporters. nobody quite wants to go with i it.
