hey, we have midterm elections coming up here, why do we want to start having bad economic news when -- rob: month out. >> is there really a reason for that and i think the president is right to be critical of the fed and don't forget, the market has emotion to it, right, rob, you're starting to tumble and the fed comes by, by the way, we will continue to raise interest rates to 2020, how does that help things. doesn't make sense. rob: i just applied for mortgage 5 and a half on a 30-year, that was 3 and a half a year ago. he's been hanging on the economy for most of presidency, let's talk about, we have the mergers that are interesting that people are talking about, you have cvs merging with aetna, what is this going to do for markets of pharmaceuticals? >> because you have a merger like this we would be able to

appropriate to advise them they don't have to tell the officers where they are from and they don't have to answer those types of questions, obviously our officers have a lot of backlash with that, they want to work with our federal partners, we are all in law enforcement together and we just feel that it is for safety of the death sentence. jillian: we have a statement from the mayor that says in part, quote, everyone should know rights, if informing immigrants of existing constitutional rights is controversial that only reinforces why this change is necessary, we will not let the lack of compassion demonstrated at the highest levels of our government go unanswered in minneapolis. what do you think about that phrase lack of compassion at the highest level? >> well, you know, rebellion going on in cities like minneapolis and across the country against the trump, you know, administration and it's direct -- it's a direct hit to president trump's policies on getting tough on illegal

immigration. they've declared themselves as sanctuary city and we are just hoping that we -- the voters get out and at state level tell minneapolis politicians, hey, this isn't what we want in our state. rob: i wonder when you see a loft the stories about the behavior of some of the left wing, there's so much disdain for the president, do you think that the democrats in some ways have moved so far to the left that they risk alienating common sense democrats just because they are so outraged by what they think the trump administration has done? >> you bet. ironically when he rolled -- when the mayor rolled this out i was at a breakfast. our fed -- our organization works with both parties and leadership in the state, democratic party that are unhappy with the politicians both in minneapolis and in

out and say, no, we don't mean it, we don't want to cause physical harm, instead we continue to hear the same talk? >> well, again, well, i've been somebody who said we certainly need to have civil conversation with people that want to be civil but we also have to remember that the president is the person who basically set this environment on both sides when he made comments like knock the crap out of them, that sounds pretty violent to me, ed, so i think that there's blame to go around. i think that there's no doubt where this started and it starts with this president who has set environment where emotions are raw and we are not seeing ourselves collectively as americans and that's the problem. i think that this president needs to take a leadership role and try to change the narrative and make it so that we can actually dialogue with one another again. >> jillian, if i could jump in. there's a difference with campaigning and the eric holder quote in campaign setting and the mob rule.
