>> it's rare to have a spousal claim raised with the advancement that women have been able to achieve. to have someone in an important position refuse to answer questions from the oversight committee returning to a spousal status is problematic. serious questions have been raised here. conflicts in the testimony that people have cited. with regard to her husband. what we have to find out is what is the real record? when were the contacts made? who were the people that presented the information that ultimately went to the fisa court? none of those questions are answered now. >> tucker: you make a good point. if she is saying she can't answer question to oversight body because it's her husband and they are too close and shouldn't have to violate the privacy that exists between them. is it appropriate for them to

be working indirectly in a government setting in which they were? >> that is a problem. there is alternative reasoning. claim the fifth, if i don't use the fifth, he is my spouse. if he's not my spouse, i'm his minister. something along the lines. she hasn't claimed the full array but there is information that the oversight committee requires. i honestly don't know how serious the allegations are. i think we should know. we need some of the answers. mr. ohr made statements when he first interacted with the company on this issue that seemed to be in the contradiction with the statement of the other witnesses. that always a serious problem for congress. now, the fact is his wife was an officer of the company. with an employee of the company directly involved in the allegations. if we now are going to have the spousal immunity claims it creates a serious problem in

terms of having couples each for their own merit achieving positions of authority. if we have to face the type of spousal claims. >> tucker: well, yeah. especially when you have a law enforcement agency going through hillary clinton's opo of people for information. that winds up the basis of a criminal investigation. that is a problem. professor, thank you for clear explanation. >> thank you. >> tucker: female athletes finding themselves outclassed by biological men in their sports and what is the future of women's sport in the age of transgenderism? it's a real question. that's next. have less muscle mass. i'll get into the science but i want to say professor mckinnon, i disagree with her about what a right to compete is. i don't understand it way she does. right to compete does not entail the right to have an organization host competition that is willing to accept you as a competitor. if it exists, great. i'm happy that we do have women's competitions. >> tucker: what would happen in the wnba if men describe themselves, biological debate -- i don't want to -- call yourself whatever you want. biology is real. but if the men compete it affects the women. >> tucker: i'll call them transgender and i have information about them from a great blogger h.d. he has a blog called hormones demystified. he told me this is a real condition but he pointed me to

and -- hoy pock rassy about saudi arabia. i want to be clear. i have never been on the side of saudi arabia. i hate how they control the foreign policy. particularly, in syria. why the outrage about this now? i'm confused by it. >> the saudis have been murdering journalists and murdering dissidents for decades. they have been doing it at a heightened rate for the last two years. as you just said. the obama administration was arming the saudis in order to create the worst humanitarian crisis in yemen by slaughtered civilians by the thousands and posing famine conditions on millions. the trump administration has done the same. the reason people in washington suddenly decided they are angry about saudi arabia is this time their victim is somebody who they ran into in washington restaurants and who was popular in washington social circles. that is the reality. they didn't care at all when victims of saudi arabia by the hundreds of thousands were people that they didn't like or didn't care. it's just time they killed one

of their friends. >> tucker: how deep would you say -- give us a quick overview how deep the ties between the saudi royal family and the official washington go, including in the journalistic establishment in washington? >> it's impossible to overstate. when the crown prince came here, he had the red carpet rolled out for him by hollywood. he met with oprah. by silicon valley and he met with bill gates and jeff bezos. in washington he met with the leaders of all the parties. saudi arabia has been a critical financial partner and military partner for the u.s. for a long time. the interest go so deep in wall street and the defense industry. as it turns out, even the "washington post" going around demanding everybody severalties with saudi arabia because it's immoral they have killed one of the journalist had on the staff two writers who both work at the lobbying firms that had extremely lucrative contracts with the

saudi government. so the "washington post" paying people unbeknownst to the readers for articles the same time they were being paid by the saudis to do messaging and other lobbying work for the same regime. >> tucker: the you tell us who they are so those of us who read the post know that while assessing the writing? >> carter eskew, the top level gore adviser in 2000. who formed the glober park group, mostly the democratic elite. the other is ed rogers long-time republican operative who is a founding partner in haley barbour firm, the former head of the r.n.c. who was in charge of the communications for the saudis in washington. they were both "washington post" writers for a long time now unbeknownst to readers and they were only told they had to get rid of the saudi contracts once we published the article by the "washington post." but so many major media outlets including the cable
