found a place to go tonight, you can see the harsh conditions here as people continue to make it. most of the people you are looking at our from honduras and that is where this originated. organizers for this migrant caravan tell us they plan to continue to go forward and go to tijuana and through mexico city and hold a protest at the us embassy. all this coming on the heels of kirstjen neilsen saying asylum is not something you are going to get if you are coming. >> there seems to be misunderstanding among the caravan. if you're coming to seek family reunification that is not asylum. you cannot stay. if you're coming to seek a job that is not asylum, you cannot stay. >> reporter: all this on the heels of the president

announcing sending 800 troops to the border, and the president reportedly mulling an executive order that would make it more difficult for asylum-seekers to get into the us, the president tweeting to the caravan saying turn around. people here, honduras man a few minutes ago says he came on this trip because the honduran president, juan hernandez, failed him. when he hears the president cutting off aid to honduras it doesn't matter to him because the 8 that has come, the people haven't seen a dime of it. they say many will start waking up soon and begin their march northward because they want to get moving because by midday it will get very hot here. >> i understand the troops will be there by october 30th as well.

now let's get to the other fox news alert, the fed searching a post office facility in florida overnight where several suspicious packages were addressed to democrats, believed to have come through as police review surveillance video outside cnn's offices that could narrow the search for the bomber. todd pyro joins us with the latest development. >> reporter: authorities are focused on the us postal facility they believe some of the packages went through although investigators would not say whether they believe the suspect or suspects were still in the state. federal agents were actively working looking for any clues into the personal group responsible for the potential bombs now numbering 10. joe biden was the latest target with the fbi confirming two suspicious packages similar to the ones that trigger the original scare addressed to him in delaware with one to actor robert they niro.

information with regard to mail so it is likely they are starting to get on track and will likely find this group or this individual in the future. heather: back to my original question about the trigger mechanism, there seem to not be one. do you think it was never intended to explode to begin with and if that is the case, what is the ultimate goal? >> likely that these were not prepared to explode if they do not have a triggering mechanism but they have gone to great pains to create a functional bomb. it has the explosive powder, the triggering powder, not detonating devices but digital clocks and all the material necessary. quite a bit of time and effort

was spent to create functional bombs. perhaps they are attempting to make a political statement without causing any individual any injuries. heather: how long would it take to put together a package and put together this material? >> this would take quite some time because he or she purchased a great deal of material to put these together and even if there is no detonator involved, there is considerable risk in putting these bonds together. having this material at one location, any spark of static electricity during the construction of these pipe bombs could cause an explosion in and of itself without any detonator. the bombers here have some

rudimentary knowledge. why no detonators? time will tell. of the 20 the black electrical tape would be an area they would be able to get a lot of dna from that. >> they could get it from the black electrical tape. it is likely that adhesive surfaces have greater capability to capture dna but there will be other dna evidence present throughout the construction of this pipe bomb. i think there is a treasure trove of dna evidence present. we don't want to see so many bombs mailed, the more bombs that are present the more evidence becomes available and the faster we will get this individual. heather: let's hope they capture them quickly. we appreciate it. it has been part of the left's platform for months. >> i think we should get rid of ice.

heather: why not stop in mexico if you're in fear of your life and need to get to the safest place, why not stop at the safest place you come to? >> a lot of them will not make it past mexico. we are talking thousands of miles with children, two or three children at a time. a lot. in mexico. most of them will not make it here. what happens next is what happens when they make it to the us border? heather: the president has said if they decide to come through legally we will toss it to you, that will be allowed. they have to do it legally. >> we can't doubt that there are individuals, a number of folks in this migrant caravan that are in danger or fear for their lives in their home country and they do once to be in a safe place and america is a safe place.
