auto parts store parking lot in south florida. the key break in the case came on thursday when investigators traced five packages to a mail processing center outside miami. >> each device consisted of roughly six inches of pvc pipe, a small clock, a battery, some wiring and what is known as ennet jet particular material, which is essentially potential explosives that we're still analyzing the devices in our laboratory, these are not hoax devices. >> in 2002 sayoc was threatening to bomb a utility company saying it would be worse than september 11th. in 2014 he admitted in a deposition that he was arrested for calling in a bomb threat. and in 2015 sayoc was arrested and later convicted of theft. the 56-year-old will be in court on monday. guys, back to you. rachel: thank you, todd. >> yeah. we are learning more details about what this guy intentions were. how many bombs there were.

you can see what the crime rate and murder rate has done. that's not what we want for the state of florida. pete: speak to the mentality of somebody who wants to be the representative of the state. he says they have gone too far by their very presence a taser or baton what's the mentality of somebody who speaks that way. >> andrew gillum has no idea what it takes to serve as a law enforcement officer. as such his comments about law enforcement officers and those who wear our badge they are a disgrace, they are disgusting. the men and women of law enforcement put their lives on the line every day to protect themselves, our citizens. and for him to say that if they go and take a tool off their belt to protect themselves or one of our community, they have gone too far. i personally think it's him going too far with his anti-cop rhetoric and anti-cop mentality. you don't have to look too far to see where that's gotten the people in tallahassee and certainly where it would bleed over in the state. rachel: you know so many people in law enforcement, obviously.

what are their reaction to these kind of comments. how does it effect their morale and what is going to happen if he is elected? he is leading in the polls. >> it's appalling to any real law enforcement officers to know that he has that kind of mentality. i think the thing you have to look at the most is that type of anti-cop rhetoric puts our law enforcement officers at risk. they are also doing a very extremely dangerous job and now we are going to make comments like that and put them at even greater risk. anybody that's a true professional law enforcement officer is appalled by his actions and quite frankly are getting to the polls to make sure he doesn't get to sit in the capitol in the state of florida. pete: have you endorsed ron desantis his opponent. what would he do differentiately. >> ron understands i have to protect the citizens, the cops and our constitution. he has done that history has a great track record. can you look at the history of ron desantis. he has served our country and served in the criminal justice field and he is

when these people reach our border? you know, he says he is going to send the military. what will the military do at that point? >> the military is going to support the border patrol. they are not going to perform law enforcement duties i don't believe. they are going to handle the backs of border patrol. they are going to handle the radars. they are going to look at the scopes and going to do intelligence. they are going to provide equipment and logistics for the border patrol. when they do that that releases the men and women of the border patrol who are currently doing those jobs to get on the line and enforce the immigration laws and secure our border. pete: if the answer, director, just to push back a little bit is the military deploying trips, i have heard from folks been down there directly. these national guard troops can't even use binoculars and range finders. most of them don't carry weapons. they don't do apprehensions a lot of them feel like they are being under utilized. how much of an answer is deploying the military to the border if their hands are tied? >> look, i have talked to the trophy down there, and i have talked to, look, the

truth. i read an article that nancy pelosi said the president has failed on immigration that's why the caravan is coming i put the paper down and sick to my stomach. nothing further from the truth. if anybody has failed immigration it's nancy pelosi and her band of merry men. the president has done everything can he to secure our border and protect america. is he going to keep doing and see something come out this week that he is going to think out of the box and try to stop this caravan. the bottom line is, the person people can sleep at night knowing we have a president who is going to do everything he can to protect this country and secure the border. i have met with this many times. i know the way he thinks, and, you know, i will say it again. americans go to sleep at night knowing they have a president who is going to protect this country and do everything he can the people who failed immigration is the democrats. when they support abolishes ice. people like nancy pelosi force sanctuary cities give i will eagle aliens safe harbor. when they don't support a wall to keep illegal aliens out but support sanctuary cities to keep them in.

they are tired of the partisanship that's gone on. new jersey has been the center of that partisanship. senator menendez one of the partisan democrats in the senate. georgetown university just routerred on that he is the most if not the most partisan senator. new jersey wants somebody who is independent and put them first. if you are last and get the least back, it's time for elm the people to stand up for the people of new jersey. ed: i hear you. democratic state they haven't minded he and lautenberg and others. tax cuts, cracking down on illegal immigration. what matters most to people right now. >> so unaffordable. new jersey has become so expensive. tax hike again this year. 1.7 billion more spending, property taxes are the highest in the country. it's just hard for families to stay together. ed: taxes went up because the republican president, donald trump said you can't write off as much on the state and local taxes. that hurt your state. don't you have to admit that as a republican? >> listen, i was opposed to that $1,000 cap on state.

they will be given temporary citizenship, some healthcare, some education here, but the offer being mostly rejected. some stepping away, but the bulk obviously as you see, trying to move forward to the united states. pete: good stuff griff right there. you know i'm watching those images all we hear from the so-called mainstream media is women and children, women and children. a lot of males in there. military age, 20, 30 year old males. you also have seen a lot of flags and they're not american flags. if you're coming to a country seeking a asylum you want to be that country not bring your country there. if you're fleeing that country and it's so terrible why are you carrying that flag with you. we're out of here i want to go to america that should be the mind set. rachel: pete there was an interview also where secretary kirstjen nielsen talked about the number of sexual assaults on girls and boys, 30% of those who cross on this journey very dangerous, 30% of the girls and women sexual assaulted almost 20 % of the boys not a lot of talk on the left about that

that's what's in this controversy. pete: if you're a globalist or left wing democrat in america today what is your border policy >> well that's a good question. i think increasingly it looks like they want to raise borders or at least weaken them or dilute them so much that they become meaningless and there is a real problem with that because if you don't have borders you can't have a nation state. pete: so their caravan policy would be come on in. >> it looks like it would be come on in but the problem i have with that primarily is that it looks like it would be come on in in order to score political points against trump. if it was come on in because you people really need asylum and it could be proven that they really needed asylum that might be a very good thing for the united states to do but what's happening here is that people have been encouraged to move closer and closer to the border in order to score points against trump, in order to weaken the idea of national sovereignty, and in order to make a statement about borders in the 21st century so they are being used as a political weapon that's very cynical. pete: and having i believe you're from the uk correct?

beer drinker and it's delicious and i said wow this is like a chick beer and she goes yeah, look it's brewed by chicks. [laughter] so this is the rugged road beer? tell us a little bit about it. it's a brown ale that we actually brewed in collaboration with the non-profit called backpacks for life and we're actually releasing that beer tomorrow but it's part of the florida salt series which is series of cans that we do where we collaborate with other veteran organizations that exist for the purpose of progressing veterans forward. we designed a beer around them and then donate a portion of the profits to them. rachel: you're here with your partner she's over there and what is it about veterans that makes them great entrepreneurs? >> being in the military definitely gives you a lot of great attributes that you want, leadership having the ability to bounce back, complete impossible tasks it's everything that you need to be a business owner. ed: finally, we have tattered

flag brewing from middletown, pennsylvania, pat de lvin is the ceo and co-owner and there's a story behind this. >> yeah, so i would carry a flag with me on some of our operations and it would come back a little weathered and worn but still stood for its ideals and character. ed: what a great symbol and you've got india pale ale, and you have these glasses that of course say tattered flag but they feel like you're holding a beer can even though it's glass. how cool is that? >> it's cool. it's a natural feel, right, to have a beer can in your hands. ed: for pete especially but you're not just selling beer but all of the gear that goings with it, it seems like the public is really responding supporting a lot of veterans with the glasses and hats real quick. >> absolutely and they love the atmosphere and we're very veteran-centric. ed: thanks for your service more
