keep the house and gain seats in the senate. they need to lean into this and the first thing is to make sure they permanently do away with the health insurance, i wrote about this in my op-ed. if they are not careful it will kick in in 2020 and cost the average -- $2000 back on a tax cut. the other things they need to do is expose healthcare industry to market forces, donald trump doing an excellent job on prescription drug prices but they need to talk about pricing transparency. we are seeing premiums and deductibles go up because i don't think the industry has exposed market forces. i don't think people understand most hospitals are nonprofit, they are not exposed to market forces and they raise prices, transparency would be any nonprofit offering services exchanging $20 billion revenue every year would post prices or procedures, and how much a knee

surgery cost, wall street journal wrote about this charging $50,000 just over $10,000, it will be good for the american people because it will make it a patient centric industry, not provider centric. jillian: you mention the numbers in the first paul about people concerned about healthcare because of affordability, 40% government takeover and another poll, the number one issue motivating voters and in that is a fox news poll, healthcare is 13%, the economy at 9%, immigration todd: present. a lot of people happy with the status of the economy. he wants to see that continue but with healthcare you hear democrats talking about it. there are a lot of other things taking focus away from what republicans need to be messaging and getting it out. every day there's something else. how do republicans hone in on the message in the last week?

>> we are into this last weekend it is about get out the vote and break the last minute messages. one of the things democrats have hung their hopes on in regard to healthcare's preexisting conditions. a lot of positive creative solutions but i would argue gary palmer out of alabama with his preexisting condition, invisible risk pool solution they need to go back and re-examine this, not only lower premiums but cover people with preexisting conditions and take the issue away from democrats or republicans need to come back to congress, repeal obamacare and open up the healthcare industry for the market forces. if they do the right thing over the next couple years you could see people see premiums and deductibles being lower because costs will be lower because the market has started to influence what things cost instead of raising prices.
