it is a dead heat, from early october, kristin's in tma, martha mcsorley up by one but that president 36% each in this particular race. what are your thoughts? >> this race will come down to turn out. it is the junk ball within the margin of error meaning either candidate could be up by several points today but it will likely come down in that state to who is turning out. both sides are polling nationally, both sides, republicans and democrats are charged up to vote. it is a question of latinos and whether or not they will turn out and what we are seeing a lot of surveys is the latino vote in the midterm cycle is being overestimated. we started in california in june primaries most pollsters overestimated the latino vote in

the era of trump but in early returns and mail in ballots in california and texas latino turnout is looking like every other midterm cycle before. not necessarily a blue wave. >> if that is overestimated then perhaps this particular poll that showed hispanics preferred skin dma is not as significant. and white rule voters favor mcsorley by 27%. both of them have an 88% degree of vote certainty. what does that mean? >> that basically means that people who are saying to the pollsters that they are voting for sinema, they are likely not to change, not a lot of wiggle room. the other thing to look at is what is the conversation in these states where going into the home stretch, kristin

sinema, radical things she has said that don't line up with her state's voters. those are not indicators you want for remaining undecideds. it is a nailbiter. my hunch is the latino support is being overestimated and sinema is down a point or two. shannon: another one in missouri tied between mccaskill and holly at 43%. same as early october so this is down to the wire in a dead heat. >> again within the margin of error. much like sinema mccaskill has several groups where staff admitted she is anti-gun, more liberal than she lets on to be and an overriding trend that

matters and all these senate maps. what is donald trump's approval rating and even in the fox news surveys that were released show in all the key battleground states that donald trump is above 50% and that is a really key indicator where the undecideds may proportionally break. of trump is underwater in those states it indicates they may break leftward but in these states trump is above water, well above water which may give us a slight edge. heather: the race in indiana with joe donnelly up compared to 43% in early september, then down to 38% compared to 45%. >> trump is popular in that state, joe donnelly is an enigma and saved his political hard when he decided to vote in support of brett kavanaugh. that probably secured his seat but these races are within the margin of error and something i would point out in the fox news poll we are seeing, donnelly is

the independent women's forum, thanks for joining us this morning, that is a whole lot of money. $5.2 billion being spent. and republicans $790 million. is this what makes the difference, the amount of money spent? >> very good question and we will wait until tuesday to find out but what we do know based on donald trump's election in his decision to self fund much of his campaign in 2016 money doesn't matter like it used to. when we see massive amounts of money being poured into elections that have been nationalized like to beto o'rourke it won't go as far as it did in previous elections. when it comes to the house money can still be a big factor.

when you look at the breakdown in the numbers on the democrat side, they are pouring into candidates like beto o'rourke. >> this is coming from the center of responsive politics it is in reference to candidates for the house and senate and what they combined and one of the big discrepancies come of the numbers between republicans and democrats and breaking it down, one thing contributing to the difference is the amount of money contributed by small donors. >> there are more small donors deciding to open their check board, and specifically women voting to democrat women but on that front i would note that on the republican side women are also opening their check books, they just don't care whether the candidate they are going to support his male or female, they don't care about their race or

ethnicity but policy issues. heather: as you talk about women voters we can break apart those numbers. in reference to women. >> on the republican side, women care less about the gender of who they are voting for, the issues, the issue that is online in the midterm elections is the economy, working for women. since 2016, 3 million more women are working than before. unemployment for women, and a historic low since 1950, their lives are improving, their families are improving and that is why despite what the media will have you believe trump, and the republican side will see a lot of support from women.
