there. it will be rough. >> remember, i'm watters judge jeanine: breaking tonight, the florida race for governor is over. democrats andrew gillum concedes. president trump visits parts of california devastated by the wildfires. hello and welcome to justice live from d.c. i'm jeanine pirro. thanks for being with us. and thanks to you for making justice number one last weekend. and for having made "liars, leakers, and liberals" number one only best sellers list. i'll be joined live by the governor-elect ron desantis. kellyanne conway.
12:01 am
congressman kevin mccarthy and steve scalise. dr. sebastian gorka and dana loesch. they are all ahead. but first my open. i am moving on from fake news. there is a new phrase in town, a new lingo. fake law. that's what i said. fake laws. this is not about taking sides whether you are left, right, independent or agnostic, respect for our laws is essential. they are not fake, we are a nation of laws. now, senators kamala harris, cory booker, kirsten gillibrand, all three eyeing the 2020 presidential run. and the left insists i.c.e. be abolished. the call was wrapped up this
12:02 am
week when harris' asserted that i.c.e. is per side of as a month d is perceived as a modern day klu klux klan. take a look as she grills the director of i.c.e. >> are you aware of the perception that i.c.e. to enforce the law,. >> i don't see any parallel. >> i'm talking about perception. >> i don't see a parallel as to what is constitutionally man dated. >> are you aware there is a perception. >> to put i.c.e. in the same category as the kkk. judge jeanine: since when are carrying out the duties of law enforcement akin to acting like
12:03 am
a klansman. since when are men and women who put their lives on the line considered domestic terrorists. since when do we persecute men and women for doing the job the law asks them to do. irrespective our like or dislike of a law, no one can choose to ignore the law. the law is meant to be followed and enforced. kamala, you were a progress cuter and attorney general. you enforced the law by prosecuting those who didn't follow it. i doubt you asked the accused about their perception of the law, and i doubt you even cared. in fact, when you ran for senate you promised to quote combat transnational gangs, working with mexico to prevent them from
12:04 am
bringing guns and drugs across our border. to fight human trafficking and improve human safety. how are you going to do that without i.c.e. who are you going to call? ghost busters? as someone who claims to champion minority communities. you know they are the ones most of impacted by drug cartels and gangs coming through our porous border. between 2017 and 2018, i.c.e. seized. 68,000 pounds of -- 687 pounds of drugs. more than 430 criminal arrests in child exploitation investigation, rescuing hundreds of child victims. and you want to oppose i.c.e.? you call them like kkk?
12:05 am
if you don't like a law, kamala, there is a process to change it, and here is the rub. you can change it. as a united states senator work with the framework of the exalted position to which you were elected. sponsor a bill, get support for the bill and get it passed. don't gin up people into a frenzy suggesting i.c.e. is like the kkk with images of burning crosses and lynchings of innocent african-americans. likening it to innocent mexicans and central americans. you of all people should understand the anger and hate that conjures up. as a woman who is half african-american, you should understand the history and the role of the kkk played through the democrat party. let me see if i get this right.
12:06 am
i.c.e. should be eliminated because it scares people. people who have broken our laws to come here. many have already exhibited violence along the way, in tijuana and guatemala. mostly men demanding entrance as if they are entitled to be here. what you are doing is planting seeds of fear, resistance and resentment against i.c.e. among people who have no right to come here, who have already broken our laws to get here. and they are scared? people should be afraid when they violate our laws. the people though who should be afraid are innocent americans at risk in sanctuary cities and states where illegals who are also criminals are given safe haven. your con puts those american citizens in jeopardy.
12:07 am
how about having a dose of reality and not your perception nonsense. look at these pictures. kate steinle, and the scores of american citizens killed by illegals. your perception of i.c.e. as the kkk is pure insanity. this is america. the law is the law. respect it. honor it, fear it, fear it. any questions? that's my open. if you like my opening statement, you will love my new book "liars, liberals, and leakers." now with reaction to my opening statement and all the breaking news, counselor to the president, kellyanne conway. good evening', kellyanne. what do you think of likening
12:08 am
i.c.e. to the kkk? >> this is what happens when people have nothing substantive to offer aspiration alley for their 2020 campaign. they can't seem to figure out how to defeat donald trump. so they try to do it by having these viral moments, trying to embarrass and harass and hah --d harangue people under oath. what galls we, she doesn't even source. perception on twitter? where? among your group of friends? source it. if he is under oath and she is not. she ought to at the very least say here is where i heard the perception. the reality is that they interdict almost a half million
12:09 am
pounds of drugs and arrested 500 criminals. they are helping with human trafficking. judge jeanine: and children are being exploited. >> i work for the president of the united states who like the vice president mike pence, the on two guaranteed to be on the ballot in 2020. they are trying to get things passed in the lame duck session. those running in 2020 have nothing of substance to say, and america got enough of kamala harris during the kavanaugh hearings. they showed into dignity or integrity. here we are back, instead saying tell us what your agency does. judge jeanine: her job is to trash anyone who is part of the administration.
12:10 am
but let's talk about the democrats. now that they are running the house. how do you see it playing out? >> they are most of likely to overreach. they are so worried about that they will not commit their vote for speakership to nancy pelosi. she had that job for two terms before. they were defeated in 2010. she held that for two terms. she is a great fundraiser, but she represents san francisco. if the democrats want to win back states in the presidential election that donald trump clobbered them in like wisconsin, pennsylvania, ohio. they need to reach toe up those areas for their -- reach into those areas for their leadership. i think they --
12:11 am
judge jeanine: how do you think they view this left wing progressive lunacy? do you think that's what got them the house? or do they think they have to move more to the middle? >> it depend on what you talk to. if you share all the pictures it looks like a yearbook of a large public school. 300 people running for president. they can't believe some of the other two are running. but it's ideologically disparate. but they all share the same opinions on abortion, on guns, on deregulation. not a single one that voted for the omnibus, gave the military the first pay raise in 9 years. they have shown what they are against. i think the democrats overreached, we'll have a
12:12 am
problem. but you see -- judge jeanine: i love this and so do most of people. the palace intrigue. john kelly is going, this one is coming in. what's it like over there? >> it's absolutely fine. i worked with the president every day this week until fairly late in the evening. today he was in california the whole day. but the president is -- this whole idea that he's fuming and isolated, it comes from people who couldn't get through the front door in the first place or people who have been kicked out. someone close to the white house. the president knows that. but he's so focused on his work. look what happened. you have the governor's race that's finally called in georgia and florida. and why is that important?
12:13 am
you are adding up the number of candidate for whom the president went and campaigned for who prevailed. the governorship in iowa,. joe: . ron desantis i think the first thing he can do. this president, he wore his 7 medals of honor. he signed the cyber-security into law. and he had a veterans and military event. veterans love him. and the first responders and law enforcement. they feel more deeply respected and better resourced because of president trump. judge jeanine: house majority leader kevin mccarthy was meeting with first responders and surveying the devastation in the tragic california wildfires. good evening, congressman? >> good evening, thanks for
12:14 am
having me. judge jeanine: we are always happy to have you on. talk to us about what you thought today about the president. >> i have been with the president a lot of different places and a lot of disasters. he was at his finest today. he came out to california. this campfire up in paradise. more than 12,000 homes destroyed. the entire city down to the ground. the firefighters fighting the fire. their houses burnt down. you walk in, the firefighters told him the people hat couldn't get out of the city. they put them into this building, put the people in the building and fought the fire as it purposed over the top of them to save the individuals there. more than 70 people have died in this fire.
12:15 am
more than a thousand still missing. judge jeanine: i understand that he was with a lot of democrats. he's making it clear he's tried to work with the democrats. their philosophy, obstruct, resist. what was it like with the democrats in california and the president. >> this president was a statesman. here comes and he lands. we have governor brown and governor-elect newsome. they are working together. i listened to governor-elect newsome and governor brown thaw thanking this president for how quickly he released the federal funds. this president put the politics aside because the people of california just went through one of the worst scenarios he could find.
12:16 am
this fire is still burning. he showed the leadership. judge jeanine: there was a statement that the president made, i'm going to read it. the president said, we serve in a divided government and divide country. our goal is to unite us back together again. i think that's your statement. >> that was my quote, yes. here we are after this election. yes divided with the democrats have the house and the republicans having the senate. you have a divided nation. i just watched this president unite people. first thing we are, we are all americans. the one thing i look for in my leader in a time of need is to show the states manship i watched this president do today. not only did he deal with the fires, he dealt with the family
12:17 am
and first responders. the way this president reacts and the way the first responders react to this president because of the respect he gives them it's a moving situation. judge jeanine: his energy is unending. i have never seen anything like this. he literally goes 7 days a week around the clock. >> i have never seen a man work this way. we are take off at andrews at 6:00 this morning. he flies across the country. he goes and sees the victims of a shooting, and his compassion, now he's going to get back up and fly back across the country because the country needed him. and he continues to work to make that happen. judge jeanine: thank you so much

12:23 am
the next session of congress. how do you see things playing out in the next congressional session? >> we still are going to fight for the things we believe will get this country back on track. we are already seeing such a great economy because we worked with president trump to cut taxes. i want to see us fight to protect the gains that we made and keep the economy growing. >> when the democrats war the minority, congressman, their whole idea was obstruct, resist, don't do anything. when it came top tax reform, tax cuts for the american people, they obstructed and resisted. what makes you think you should go back and work with them given what they accomplished or did to you when you were the whip?
12:24 am
>> you have seen a lot of what nancy pelosi is talking about. they are talking about more obstruction and trying to harass and subpoena and impeach the president. but when i was in a lot of those swing districts that went from republican to democrat that ultimately flipped the house. those candidates were not talking about harassing the president. they were talking about a lot of the things we worked on. are they going to join up with nancy pelosi after their election and be part of that's resist movement. if so it will be a tough year for them in 2020. we'll fight to defend the gains we made. if they want toma harass the president we'll stop them using every tool we have. but in the end it will be nancy pelosi's decision.
12:25 am
we'll be there to fight if she goes the wrong way. judge jeanine: what do you think about the florida recount and all the hoopla down there in broward and palm beach county. finding all of these ballots after -- well after 30 minutes after the election and trying to change the reality of those declared the winners. now florida governor ron desantis is going to join us in a few minutes. the way they play seems to be different from the way you guys play. they fight to win as mark elias said so clearly. what do we fight to do? >> they don't just fight to win, they will literally go around the rules. they are not trying to count everybody vote. they use that mantra. if you voted legally in florida then 10,000 votes show up from under songs mattress and it
12:26 am
happens to be for a candidate different than the one you voted for, they are trying to steal your vote. voter theft is against the law. both sides have a team of attorneys down there to stop that from happening. but broward county, they have had a history of not being able to get this right. matt gaetz and i talked a lot about this to make sure the law is being followed. judge jeanine: brenda snipes says the court has no role in this. i want to move on to your book. in your book you talk about what happened to you. was there versa period of time when you said, i got shot. i almost died several times as a result of this injury. did you ever think about not coming back and hanging up a shingle somewhere and doing
12:27 am
something else? >> i mean, judge, clearly the opportunities would have been there. but i love this country. i love the job i have, the ability to work with this president and get the country back on track. i wasn't sure if i was going to be able to recover from my injuries. but it was one of the things that motivated me to fight to get back. i talk about this in the book. the miracles that happened along the way, the heroes that saved hide life and helped me to be able to recover. what the motivations were annie wanted to fight so hard to get back to be part of what we were able to do his tore tickally this last year, including the tax cut bill. it was something special to work on, working with president trump and chairman brady and the rest of the team to do something that's transformed this country and the economy.

judge jeanine: 11 days ago you were declared the winner. 80,000 votes. then 100,000 votes are found. what is going on in florida? >> you had two counties, the ballots started appearing that were not initially logged. we track every vote. and so it started that they were all real big democrat margins. rick scott's margin went down a lot. i was never really in danger because my margin was big enough. but in my case it triggered a requirement to run the ballots through the machines again. all the counties did this through the machines and it basically didn't change anything. it was the same as it was. tim fortunate this is behind us. i have been work since election
12:35 am
tonight. we have a good agenda. now i can go forward without having to worry about this. judge jeanine: let's look forward to 2020. are you going to fire this brenda snipes? the throughout brought against her. the judge referenced what is allowed in terms of someone losing their job doing that kind of thing. he laid the ground work for that kind of thing. >> i don't think there is any question there was flagrant violation of the law. some of the votes counted late, a day or two after the election were supposedly cast during early voting and they were never reported. we have a lot of transparency, legal requirements precisely because that's what confers le jirt ma i to these results. but this isn't the first time. two years ago she was
12:36 am
reprimanded by a federal court. she destroyed ballots illegally, and she destroyed ballots involving debbie wasserman-schultz. people say florida has all these problems. florida as a whole doesn't have the problems. we have 67 counties. miami-dade is more prop has than broward. they didn't have a single problem. bay county which got hit by hurricane michael, they had their results done. it's broward and palm beach. and they tarnished the image of the state. judge jeanine: are you going to let this woman go? >> i am going to take office on january 8. i ran on accountability. i encourage your viewers to follow my administration when i get in.
12:37 am
judge jeanine: you were all over the email scandal and all of that stuff with the russian hoax and russian collusion. are you going to miss that stuff when you go to florida? >> i didn't know if we would be in the majority or minority. the fact that we are in the minority, i think it will be tough in the house. a lot of the work we were doing unfortunately will come to an end when the new congress convenes. the democrats won't want to hold anybody accountable for any of this stuff. hopefully in the senate they will take over and bring some accountability. i'm glad i am where i am. i think i can do better as congressman than being one congressman in a minority. judge jeanine: dr. sebastian

judge jeanine: with the florida race for governor over and the caravan still coming, here with reaction to that and more, dana loesch. thanks for being with us tonight. >> good to see you as always. judge jeanine: we just had governor-elect ron desantis on. and he talked about some of the problems florida had in the so-called recount that wasn't necessary because he won again and gillum conceded again. what's your take on what's going
12:43 am
on in florida? >> it was like a clown show. i don't know how else to describe it. i didn't have any idea way was watching. the one judge who was determining if this recount was going forward. he said this is an embarrassment. every election this happens. we have to get it right. brenda snipes has to go. broward needs to get it together. but desantis won. he was always going to win because his policies appealed to floridians. the right conclusions finally took place and was rightfully acknowledged. it was a repoet of what happened over so many years. i want to move on, and i would like to talk about the caravan. there is a statement here that we have from a caravan member that it want you to react to.
12:44 am
where the caravan member i believe his name is henry salinas. he says it will be all against one, one against all. all of central american against one, and all against trump, trump against all. this is someone who is violating our laws to come and live in this country and reap the benefits of being an american, break our laws to get here. what's your take on this caravan? >> i find it interesting. this gentleman's statement. but yet the condemnation that came from some in the chattering class when anybody who use the word invasion, i want them to reconcile those two things. i don't understand why this is about president trump. it seems weird someone would say this when they are come together united states to seek asylum after rejecting the asylum and
12:45 am
benefits offered by mexico which makes me and others wonder if this is about asylum or standing and making a point about this administration. but the idea that somehow wanting individuals to enter legally and orderly. we just saw billy idol go through his naturalization ceremony. to somehow misrepresent that as you hate all immigration is disingenuous it's intellectually fraudulent. i'm so tired of seeing that argument from so many people on the left. i want to know, judge. i want to know where democrats stand on immigration policy in the trump administration. are they fine with letting these individuals in? judge jeanine: kamala harris who sees herself as a presidential candidate made it clear that she thinks i.c.e. should be abolished. and the perception, she is
12:46 am
planting the seed, that i.c.e. is akin to the kkk. what do you think of that from someone who used to possible cute and enforce the law. >> over half of border agents are hispanic or latino. i live in texas. this is a huge issue in texas. i heard all of these individuals laugh at remarks like this. she is the first person to suggest the motives of these individuals isn't that they are doing their jobs and enforcing the law, that they are somehow racist. they laugh. these hispanic and latino officers laugh at this. it's offensive for someone like kamala harris to say that. you have to make a leap of logic and think that skin color is

12:54 am
base. when you see the african-american population double in their positive attitude towards the president. they are desperate to lock in a new democrat. when they say voter suppression what are they talking about? they are talking about suppressing the votes of people who are committing a crime when they vote because they are not u.s. citizens. america is about rule of law, and you get to vote if you are an american citizen. judge jeanine: during the obama administration the states were having a lot of problems trying to clear the voter registration roles to eliminate those -- rolls who eliminate those who died. dead people i guess should vote. what do i know? >> the phrase vote early and vote often is a democrat slogan, not a republican one.
