his new film takes us on a journey of the dangerous and gritty life of the drug lord. jillian: is it worth your box office bucks? here is kevin mccarthy. what do you think? >> reporter: clint eastwood, one of the most legendary actors and directors in hollywood and over the years has been part of my favorite films of all time a fistful of hours, the good, the bad and the ugly but directing wise, americans migrants only and films like unforgiven, those are amazing films, this falls in the middle of those, based on a new york times article about a 90-year-old drug mule and the character that eastwood plays is inspired by that character and is trying to provide for himself and his estranged from his family and take on this job not knowing he is dealing with drugs or a mexican drug cartel, just

driving, realizing what happens in the back of his truck and that becomes a huge dramatic element and eastwood is fantastic in this movie, unbelievable to watch, i love everything he did, he stars and act in this film, the script is a bit slow in the middle and overall though ending was anti-climatic. that being said every scene eastwood has with bradley cooper is incredible. those two together on screen, eastwood directed cooper in american sniper. i'm looking at the levels of directing eastwood has done over the years, look at unforgiven, americans my brand sully, those were great movies. the mule is a good film in the middle but better than other films he has directed recently. 15, 17, and -- rob: in the middle. >> i gave it a 3 out of 5. jillian: maybe you suggest spending your box office bucks on spiderman.
