taking the house, january 3rd they take control. >> this is one of the biggest crises for donald from, democrats taking the house in 2018. within 24 hours of them taking the house back you will see the investigations start, subpoenas dart flying, adam schiff, maxine waters, jerry nadler, they cannot wait to go after trump and quite frankly the punishment trump is going to experience in 2090 will be brutal, one of the big stories of 2019 because he has the opposition party, the mainstream media cannot wait to run these stories that will be coming out of these committees so i think trump is in for a really rough year because of house being a democrat hands. heather: the it is so brutal i don't know how he does it every day. do you think democrats will hold off on the border wall until january 3rd? >> i think so. they are committed to resistance. they do not want to give donald trump a win on anything and it

is about satisfying their base, the hard left has taken over the democratic party and they do not want the border wall. heather: we have seen it out, the roller coaster ride it has been on. the trade war with china, you expect that to continue? >> we saw right before christmas china started to blink a little bit, tariffs on 700 goods but this is the right fight for us. we have to understand china is coming forth, they want to displace us economically, this is about controlling technology of the future. this is the right fight for trump, who we are as a people 1015 or 20 years from now and we have to get china to agree to better trade deal, they have to stop stealing our intellectual property but on another front it is about hitting china's work with us on north korea and making sure we solve that problem as well. there's a lot of work to go and china has to play significant role as well. >> donald trump left open the door to meet with north korea in january so we will see if that happens.

this ties into economics, that will continue as well. >> one of the things we've got to figure out, a lot of people are not happy with jerome powell. there are a couple things that have to happen. i would love to see mister powell resign. if he doesn't do that come together with the last rate hike and not nearly as aggressive on this coming into 2019. heather: going through our notes, what is happening for the day, he has opened the door to meeting with donald trump. we will see if that makes any difference. >> i saw that as well. heather: the the democrats in the far left agenda taking over. >> alexandria ocasio-cortez is one of the big stories. she's going to be a pain in nancy pelosi's side. you saw her show up at protests. this will be problematic for the

democrats. she has a huge platform. it will be hard for democrats, especially when nancy pelosi and chuck schumer will be about resisting trump. i think the left will be pushing for that. alexandria ocasio-cortez will be there quite a bit. i think the hard left has taken over the party far more than people understand and you will see a far left candidate win the presidential nomination in 2020 because they have to swear fealty to the far left, their issues because of power and donor base, we start to see the tip of the iceberg and how much the left is taken over the democratic party. uma: left presidential candidate for the democrats, how do you think that will play? >> you are seeing elizabeth warren saying abolish ice, medicare for all, a myriad of

premiums, stabilizing the market, based on a bipartisan agreement reached last year by senators lamar alexander and patty murray. what do you think of this? >> this is a bad idea. the whole idea of obamacare has been a failed social experiment. two significant development occurred in the last year. number one, donald trump refused to share cost-sharing reductions, defunding any repair to obamacare by shoring up the deficit it created by not having enough money in the system. this caused premiums to increase and deductibles are high too so you can't get any healthcare at all. not only are you paying more for healthcare but the whole cost of getting any services increased because deductibles are up. heather: the texas legislation

determined the individual mandate was unconstitutional, basically obamacare is in a ditch and they need to get rid of it and start over. >> i was going to mention the ruling on december 14th. do you think they will get out of the ditch? >> he can pitch all day long but nobody is catching. at the end of the day this is a political move. it is unfortunate because it is hurting a lot of people. when i talk about healthcare i talk from a personal standpoint, a purpose and standpoint. 300 employees, had to shut down my business due to healthcare reform, lost we to parents, one while on the campaign trail. my mom didn't want to stay in the hospital, not to incur costs. and suspended a camping trip comport the plug. i don't say that for people to bring attention that this is a real issue so any democrat or republican who does not want to repair, how they do it how they fix it or anybody who put on hold for their own political agenda it saddens me and it is unfortunate.

the same gains we see with the border wall holding that for political points is unheard -- hurting the american people. heather: we can agree on that. one of the things we were talking about when you look at this paul that shows donald trump handling healthcare 56% of people disapprove of it and 33% of it approve. what can he do to turn those numbers around, get congress to come to an agreement? >> he can get them to repeal and replace obamacare, with whatever system we had before because it is better than obamacare. the problem is premiums are so high it is putting an onerous burden on americans to pay the premiums each month and in combination you have such high deductibles that you have to pay for your healthcare so you are paying a lot of money for nothing, you're getting no healthcare. >> the idea that the individual
