how i grow. greg: that was an awesome show. a special thanks to kat sims, tyrus, studio audience. i'm greg got -- greg gutfeld and i love you, america. >> welcome to waters world i'm jesse watters. liberal humiliation is the subject of tonight's waters world. and political warfare one of the goals is to make your opponent look bad and sometimes your opponents do that to themselves and that is what happened to the left this week. nancy pelosi and chuck schumer and delivered the democrat response to president trump's office address on the border crisis. 40 million viewers tuned in to see nancy and chuck after the president standing awkwardly together at the podium. americans were more amused by their presentation that informed
8:01 pm
and the duo got roasted hard on social media. here are some of the best means. >> american gothic anyone? how about, the twins from the shining. super villains. i think that's the joker in that man and how about this, i see pelosi went with the doctor evil outfit. who wore it better? many son nancy and chuck as parents. we are not bad, we are just disappointed and my favorite face swap marathon. as greg gutfeld said the other day their response should have been followed by quote unquote paid for by donald trump the president. exhibit two, and other political opponent the president "cnn" white house correspondent jim acosta went to mcallen texas and saw the less mexican border.
8:02 pm
acosta does someone a while and doesn't believe there's any crisis at the border but he posted a video. >> here are some of the steel been the president has talking about right here. as you can see and yes you can see through the slats to the other side of the u.s.-mexico border but as we are walking along here we aren't seeing any kind of immigrant change -- danger. their businesses behind me along this highway. there's a gas station, burger king and so on but no sign of a national emergency the president has been talking about. as a matter of fact it's pretty tranquil down here. jesse: hey jim perhaps it's tranquil because there's a border fence. migrants aren't rushing toward the fence because there is a fence. illegal's cross where there is no fence. is jim acosta working for president trump orsey and it?
8:03 pm
sometimes it's hard to tell. what an embarrassment. exhibit three. potential democratic candidates beto o'rourke likes to bring voters into his world. usually he shows himself cooking steak in the kitchen and things like that but nato took it a step too far this week. >> i'm here at the dentist and we are going to continue our series on the people on the border. i'm here with diana my dental hygienist. diane is going to tell us about growing up periods. jesse: badeaux hopefully you don't have a colonoscopy anytime soon. sometimes more is less. sometimes less is more. there you have it democrats humiliated themselves and republicans did name have to lift a finger. i wish politics could always be this easy. here with me now senior visor to trump 2020 campaign katrina
8:04 pm
pierson and former white house director anthony scaramucci the author of trump, the blue-collar president which i read and i highly endorse. all right guys, what did you think about my brilliant commentary? they just shot themselves in the foot and republicans didn't even have to squeeze the trigger. ladies first. >> look jesse this was really karma. you had "cnn" and jim acosta specifically who spent the majority of their day trying to undermine the president and undermined his agenda with a ton of fake news and it turns out it all came back full circle today and yesterday and it's going to continue moving forward. the president has been very courageous in pushing for varied old policies to secure the southern border to become american citizens and is jim acosta pointed out his position is the right position. walls work and "cnn" showed the
8:05 pm
entire country the president is right on this issue. jesse: "cnn" really stepped on her message on that one. anthony some reporter looking at a block circled with police circled with police officers in saying you know what, there is no crime. >> that was a difficult moment but i think katrina would agree with me it would be a dear diary to eat for the president. it's vintage trump trolling. when i saw that i had to laugh and then there were people responding saying they are in so much joy over the dear diary tweet. we have to get through this and we have to get the government reopened because eventually it will affect things like the stock market and the economy and this high level of dysfunctionality. unfortunately the system requires a compromise so hopefully they will get to compromise and get the government back open again
8:06 pm
because the president up 28-0 in terms of what is done for the economy. i don't want to lose the lead going into the 2020 election. jesse: it's critical that we get it back open buddies got to get it backun open with some kind of barrier. open with some kind of let's try the compromise. i'm going to be donald trump and anthony you are going to be chuck schumer i'm sorry and katrina you are going to be nancy pelosi. i don't know who i should apologize to more but you guys agree to do this. >> you have hair envy water. you just wish you had hair. jesse: ibo wish i could make as much money as you did. we are in a room with the president. i'm going to say crying chuck. we need votes in the senate, eight democratic votes in the
8:07 pm
senate to get this government back up and open in order to get a physical barrier. use senator schumer, you voted for physical barriers in the past. why can't you give a little and do what you did before in order to reopen the government? >> okay well mr. president we are both new yorkers so why not you throw me a bone. what bone are you going to throw me so i can deliver these eight votes? jesse: i already gave you some candy. maybe we can talk about daca and giving legal status to these young illegal immigrants brought here by their parents. can we go to that deal, 25 billion for wall funding and a dock affix? can we do that? >> i think actually you should do that but you will probably
8:08 pm
not want to do that because they are making a lot of money on the fund-raising side resisting the president. >> i agree. nancy or left-wing caucus is very radical. they don't want to budge an inch on any wall funding. they don't want to do anything on the border. they want the status quo so nancy are you going to be able to get your liberal base in line and treat this as a national security issue instead of a political issue? >> look, mr. president i'm going to have to say what my colleague here didn't say and really advise you that this immoral wall is unnecessary because you had your meeting yesterday with the border patrol and we all learned through this meeting, thank you for doing that 21 million lethal doses of fentanyl was seized in the last
8:09 pm
year according the lieutenant governor of texas so 21 million lethal doses were seized. what we really have to do for moral sake mr. president is to open the border to that way we can find out just how many lethal doses of carowinds would actually come in. jesse: the wall that surrounds your property nancy, is that immoral to? should we tear down that wall is well? >> you see mr. president, that's different. we are not using taxpayer resources to build my wall because my family is really important. we are just talking about your average american. we are talking aboutg people who hold positions to make policies in the country. but you are talking about the difference between mr. president i'm a woman.
8:10 pm
please let me finish. we are talking about the difference here between aes diet ande diabetes. we have to make sure we are comparing the right things mr. president. jesse: a brilliants analogy speaker pelosi. >> where are my bifocals though. . >> you are supposed to be looking down and reading all of your comments. in order to get the deal done i will compromise a little bit but you have to every time i jesse: every time i speak i want you to give u a united response right afterwards. makes me looky good. makes me looky can we agree with that? . >> amen. >> that's a fantastic idea. jesse: in all seriousness we
8:11 pm
are hearing rumors the white house is preparing for ruth bader ginsburg to step down from her role. she's had some health issues she has missed this week. what do you predict will happen if this open seat is thrown to the mix politically? . >> it will be a kavanaugh firefight but what i absolutely predict and what constitutional scholars agree that justice roberts appointed by george w. bush will continue to go to the center to be a moderating force on the court why, you have to ask him. jesse: i agree with that. >> yes, i do have to agree that this is also an amazing opportunity to appoint another supreme court justice that definitely take seriously the
8:12 pm
values of the country from the beginning and it is upsetting to a lot of people that she may be resigning. i would like to see another woman appointed to this positio position. amy barrett would be fantastic and the president will continue to make history that's why we are proud to support him to push the agenda. >> having the opportunity for three supreme court justices is historic. jesse: thank you very much. now while visiting the southern border the president reiterated his intention to declare a national emergency if push comes to shove. >> we have the absolute right
8:13 pm
to declare a national emergency this is. if you don't have a barrier whether steel or concrete wall you will never solve this problem you will never solve it. >> arizona congressman member of the house is and completes support and joins me now. we are talking about a border crisis if a national emergency needs to be declared. something that was said the other day by a border patrol agent caught my attention and then you can react. >> so far we have apprehended from 41 different countries come yesterday we apprehended 133 people from countries other than central america and mexico including india pakistan china romania ecuador nicaragua and on and on.
8:14 pm
jesse: i was shocked 130 people apprehended in one day and romania? nicaragua? pakistan? nobody even knew that was happening. >> is happening people from all over the world have found a way to enter the country to sneak across the southern border but ask how many they thought god away the getaways are averaging four or ten times as much. but they could've had between six and 1500 people cross the border successfully yesterday. jesse: you are on the border in arizona you are hearing from your constituents a fence or barrier is needed? we heard that from the border
8:15 pm
patrol agents they say there is no basis but other presidents have declared national emergencies as well. bill clinton declared 17 national emergencies george w. bush 13 obama 12 and that is not something unusual it has been done in the past. >> i am hearing he is seriously considering it and the wire will trip soon because pelosi and schumer are not willing to negotiate at all those radicals are not willing to budge and it is a real crisis. president obama declared swine flu for pete sake's. not to diminish the
8:16 pm
seriousness of swine flu but we had people crossing the border by the thousands and we have no idea who they are we are catching people who should not be here that they are criminal ill legal aliens but i find it hard to believe that national security implication does not rise to the level of the emergency situatio situation. >> we know in texas alone 32 illegal aliens were committed of homicide in one year. more people died of swine flu but "the washington post" calls it a crisis.
8:17 pm
you have to do catch and release you cannot separate them. . >> those in each of the sectors come across the border we find their bodies. this is a humanitarian crisis because the people coming across. but if we don't do that in congress to declare that emergency. >> the rock takes on the snowflake and ron paul enters "watters world" for the first time

either you have to remove the incentive for people to come former texas congressman ron paul offers an alternative solution to the immigration problems plaguing our southern border. ron paul joins me now welcome to the show congressman. i know you were a texas sky for almost all of your career so you are familiar with the problems of immigration but you are against the wall that you think we should look inward to create a new reality where we are not attracting immigration? how does that look. >> it would look a lot different you have to educate the people that everybody comes here illegal get medical
8:23 pm
care and school and the whole works. i remember one of the incentives and one of them is citizenship so i happen to believe the illegal should get in line. jesse: so do you think right now the way the welfare state is bad is primarily wide is attracting illegal immigration or do they come for the cash. >> if you were going by numbers the large number would just like to get here to work in texas i think that's the case but there also is the incentive to become the ez citizen to bring the kids along i don't think that existed very many other countries so that is a tremendous incentive believe it or not there may be some
8:24 pm
political aspects one party thinks they will get more votes if they have more welfare. jesse: right. even if they can vote yet they are counted in the census which determines districting that helps the democratic party but right now you have the business community likes the cheap labor for the open borders and the democratic party likes the open borders because they want future voters so how do you get both sides of that equation where is there a middle ground? . >> i don't know if there is a middle ground for that automatic citizenship with the illegal immigrant and there should be no rewards for that.
8:25 pm
people should be prosecuted for this. but this is a big problem because citizenship is very easy i have delivered women who just show up and because the child was born here they can get on welfare. i don't think that should exist. the whole thing is that the people who qualify for welfar welfare, if they think it's immoral to build a wall what would people think i will give them any welfare benefits? because they don't believe in welfare redistribution anyway. >> they would call you a mean person that is what they say when they disagree. so talking about attracting illegal immigrants so now that leads me to the next topic
8:26 pm
congresswoman cortez she wants universal health care which cost between 30 and $40 trillion. if you are south of the border and you hear a new wave of democrats will contemplate to give universal health care doesn't that attract illegal immigration? . >> that would be part of it as well that would be encouraging what would it be like if we want to march into japan and say where do i sign up and had white become a citizen and where do i go for my medical care and education? jesse: i don't think they would welcome us with open arms. >> i think that system is socialism but that is designed to get more power.
8:27 pm
>> so you think that democratic push is all about political power? do they have any compassion to the people? do they even believe that they work i would question it but i wouldn't let the republicans get off and with that prescription health program they are great. jesse: so let's talk quickly about syria when you ran for president you were an isolationist and we're against getting involved especially the middle east now this president will withdraw about 2000 troops from syria. do you support that or do you see any unforeseen consequences? . >> yes i do support it but i
8:28 pm
don't like calling me an isolationist because a good libertarian is very open to trade. i consider the people who put sanctions and restrict trade to get involved in punishing people they are more isolationist than any libertarian. on my little program i was excited about syria and i cheered them on but i kept my fingers crossed what would happen but i would do anything to encourage the president. he gave the right answers what are we doing over there? he campaigned on bringing them home. but the big problem he has he doesn't get reinforcements from the very people he appointed. then they go out to undermine him to say we didn't really
8:29 pm
mean that we should not only come home from syria but remember all those are set up under emergency powers if you're willing to have decent reform of currency and trade it is the opposite of isolationism bringing people together in a voluntary manner and that should be the goal. jesse: thank you very much congressman. cap next our body language expert explains the speech and what were they thinking? you control your blood sugar around the clock. and with a $0 copay, that's something to groove about. ♪let's groove tonight.
