there are other ways to get the border secured. it is worth considering. sign the bill and then come back and declare emergency and start using billions of dollars that would be available to stop drug smuggling and through dod, declare a national emergency, it can do a lot with billions without declaring national emergency. there is even more money, reporting that it is a big deal that el chapo had billions of dollars, no brooks running with it. any money forfeited from drug kingpins, use that to build the wall. rob: that is ted cruz's idea to

use that money for a wall. >> those are options even if the president were -- there would be a shutdown. it is a big deal to me, it was supposed to be 25, then 5 commonalities 1.3. it is what it is. walls are moral and not just gated communities democratic leaders within. this is a wall. heather: they got that in dollars. and got $1.3 billion and started $25 million, came down to $1.7 billion, the republicans in this committee, how is this the negotiation.

the democratic party, younger folks in the party that this, really latching onto these students? >> reporter: it had a lot to do with how it is sold as compassionate. many young people view these ideas as free everything, not as unrealistic but something helping people and a lot of that stems from lack of history, lack of realization what socialism has done throughout history and it is important to remember these elements of the democrat party, far left socialist elements are no longer friends on the left. it is easy to view them as something to laugh off but this is a serious issue, legitimate people, cory booker, elizabeth horn and kamala harris endorsing these things, legitimate 2020 candidates, no longer issues on the fringe. there on the mainstream. and solutions for them.

flag because people have been fighting to make my country free. jillian: that is right and that is amazing. some of the question to you. what did your family teach you about the flag? what does the flag mean to you? rob: it is okay. that is great. talk to us. these guys are shy, we understand that, doesn't happen when you get on tv, talk to us about the response you got to this. it has gone viral, it is a cool moment, what do you think? >> absolutely amazing. within an hour or so after i posted the picture, the chief contacted me and said have you seen how this picture has taken off? i have not.

in an hour and a half it had gotten 17,000 views and from that point on we were getting messages, comments and it was amazing. almost all of them are positive comments and we were blown away by it. jillian: what can we learn from these two young boys? >> someone, several people who posted, this gives me hope. the state of affairs of the world right now, amazing how kids doing what is right and bring us all together. just for a moment. it reminds me in a way that god can take a moment and turn them into miracles. this is what -- all of us, the whole community gathered and the whole country right now, very few negative comments we have
