on sunday afternoon. many people were home enjoying sunday dinner when the tornado spun out of the sky. one alabama coroner expects the number of deaths will rise as search crews comb through rubble and debris. we still have got people being pulled out of rubble said one of the emergency responders and said people will be working all night as a result of those tornadoes. local media puts the death toll much higher than two but we have not independently confirm those numbers. the public information officer for the county alabama emergency management agency says there is a lot of lots of life and injury but they cannot confirm specific numbers at this time but they have numerous search and rescue operations in the county in particular there is

tornado emergencies in alabama and georgia and also tornado warnings in florida and south carolina. even the towns of charleston and columbia are under tornado watches this evening. it is a favorable environment for tornadoes as a huge squall moved through the area big mature storms with low level wind is very strong that tends to get things spiraling and that is apparently what has happened on this early day in march. between six and eight people reported the injured so far but the number of dead have not been confirmed. again many of the buildings that were crushed are still being searched tonight and
