heather: let's bring in tom fitton of judicial watch, thanks for joining us, we appreciate it. you heard the ag say i think spying that occur. it doesn't really shock you though. >> it is an unremarkable description of what has been happening and was known to have a hysterical reaction shows that the left and the corrupt democrats who were behind the spying don't want this discussed at all. was there any argument there was an spying? i don't understand what the fight is about. if there was a legitimate basis to use the intelligence agency, fbi and doj to target donald trump and his team i don't think you would have this hysterical reaction.

the question, the attorney general, was there a reasonable predicate for spying? i think the reaction of the democrats tells us know, there wasn't. heather: the reaction seems to be now the attorney general is covering for the president. listen to this. >> i believe the attorney general of the united states of america believes he needs to protect the president of the united states and that is unfortunate. >> an attempt to take the attention off of these serious crimes. it is conspiratorial nonsense. heather: is anything going to be good enough for them? >> these are folks or defending collectivity by their party that wrongfully used the fbi and the justice department by sending information that was false, known to be false or should have been known to be false, to target their opposition during the campaign. the democratic national

committee and the hillary clinton campaign were behind this. when you see elected democratic leaders complained that bar called them out, these are folks partly responsible. it was their party behind what i believe to be collectivity. heather: know what else people may or may not remember? we can pull this up from 2017 when donald trump actually tweeted out that some of this was happening, people laughed at him. the mainstream media went crazy over this, he said terrible in 2017, obama had my wiretapped in trump tower just before the victory, nothing found, this is mccarthyism. wasn't that off-base? >> he was writer than right, wiretapped, he would be lucky if that was the only thing going on. people were targeting his campaign, spying directly on his campaign, using letters to take up his phone records and had an

expansive fisa operation geared getting information in his campaign, using carter page to do so. all of which, there was never a good reason, there was never a good faith basis to institute this mass spying operation. the presidential candidate of the republican party, incredible. the fact that bar made this unremarkable description of it as a spying operation, maybe we should look at what is behind it and the reaction by corrupt democrats tells you everything you need to know. heather: the fact that he used the word spying, i will use the phrase nancy pelosi used, off the rails. is there anything else that bar needs to look into besides what you mentioned? judicial watch has been looking at this from the beginning.

we just asked the question, as we begin our discussion, a breakdown of what is included in the medicare for all will come every one insurer, nearly aluminate the private market, no out-of-pocket fees, no price tag but higher taxes. what do you think? >> you didn't have listed the taxes will be dramatic. this is a huge tax increase. it outlaws 180 million plans that american people are content with through employer-based insurance. we are now outlying that and kicking people off those plans forcing them onto a 1-size-fits-all government plan it squarely puts the federal government in between individuals and the healthcare choices they are going to make. heather: there are 150 million

americans paid through their employer would do away with that. the projected cost, $32.6 trillion over the first ten years. how do we pay for it? >> you pay for through much higher taxes. taxes on the american household working-class families across this country would be so significantly increased that it would crowd out all sorts of expenses individual families and budgets. i just think that is the problem for sanders. he is pushing a plan that he can't really articulate how it will be paid for and what it means for individuals and he's very vulnerable on that. heather: 14 other democrats cosponsoring this bill including 2020 contenders elizabeth born, kamala harris, kirsten gillibrand. do you think this would be enough to sway voters to their side? >> exactly the opposite.

we just came out of field with a poll we did over the last week that was done in battleground district across this country, in 15 battleground district. most of these congressional districts are district were democrats won in 2018 and these are suburban district as working-class district and we found 71% of respondents in those districts oppose the issue of single-payer. and furthermore for independents 66% of independents and 61% of suburban women oppose that. i think this is a third rail the democratic party is now entering into in trying to propose a completely federal takeover of the healthcare system. heather: at the same time we had griff jenkins speaking with some random voters about your take on this and overwhelmingly they support the idea saying it would save money by reducing costs, that socialism in this form is

necessary, that it would be best for patients. why do you think voters are not getting understanding the costs involved with it? >> no one is articulating the costs yet. right now the democrats are tripping over themselves to endorse this in the primary because they are trying to impress their very liberal base. when you get to the granular issues of what it takes to fund this thing and individual choices and we believe costs, this will make healthcare more expensive in the long run. when you get into that stuff, people back away from it. it is the first proposal, medicare, people like the idea of medicare but medicare is a system that will drastically change when you take it and put every american in and do a 1-size-fits-all approach. heather: when you get into the details that is one not so good
