anything. he's never budgeted anything and when he became a millionaire, then he stopped attacking millionaires and started attacking billionaires. and the other thing is when he became a millionaire that first year, hayden pays for chair -- he didn't pay his fair share. he paid 1% to charity. he doesn't have a health care plan. all he does a scream about medicare for all. he doesn't say how the plan works or how he's going to pay for it. i think a lot of people should be nervous on the democrat side, if bernie gets the nomination, you're going to have four of donald trump as president. -- four more years. >> dana: donna, you want to respond and then we will get greg in here. >> donna: as you know, i am a quote-unquote unattached democrat. >> jesse: yes, ma'am, . >> donna: is it okay if i

touch you. i am patting these brothers on the back. >> jesse: joe biden rule. >> donna: it is the joe biden rule. i want to say i thought bernie did a great job. to be on the hot seat last night, i thought he got a warm reception from the fox audience. i also believed he spelled out not just his plan on medicare for all which is a plan that is supported by millions of americans but he also talked about his vision for the country. his vision i think is in the mainstream. he wants to make sure that we have a living wage. he wants to make sure the children have access to college, and yes, i have to tell you, jesse, because i read it, he has plans to pay for everything he has proposed. >> jesse: he has a plan and it's just to raise taxes. that's not a plan. >> dana: let me get greg on here. you can comment on the specifics. i wonder about his approach. he doesn't care if he's like. he's not going to apologize. he has just bernie.

>> greg: when we are playing the tape with the sound off of your watching, we have -- she's talking, he looks like someone at the counter complaining about the tuna fish salad. it would've been great to show the tape when i said that, but it's okay. i like that part where he got angry. he got angry when they asked him about his success. that's what it's like to be an american. all right? it's when somebody questions your success as though somehow you don't deserve it. at that moment bernie sanders went from a socialist to an individual who prides his liberty and that was gratifying. that would never have happened on msnbc or anywhere else. the real problem here is that every five years, we have to inoculate against socialism because it's not taught in the universities. basically capitalism is like a vaccine against the disease of socialism. it eradicates socialism, so you forget it's there and then it comes back, just like the

measles. just like the measles. capitalism enables socialism to exist, just like a vaccine allows people not to take the vaccine. >> dana: john rich, back in, we call it the green room which wasn't green but it was a lot of fun. we were talking about your perspective on this and how you're raised and how you don't want anyone telling you what you can't achieve. >> john: correct. i was raised by a dad who's a preacher and that was his passion. he wasn't going to make a bunch of money being a preacher but he was called to be a preacher. to fill in the gaps on actual bills of kaman, my dad was willing to do any job there was. i watched him be a night watchman at a bank, i watched him sell cars. i watched him give guitar lessons, anything he could do. he did make ends meet. he told me, he said son, i don't care if you're poor, in the middle, or if you're rich, always know that if you woke up in america today it's one of the
