did the president get caught running a nigerian phone scam? did he sell bed calling? did he spend two full years of the russian inclusion hoax was real? no, nothing that sleazy. "the new york times" revealed that some of trump's business is lost quite a bill of money. because of that, he paid no federal income taxes for eight of the ten years from where they had dated. unfortunately, this is a common way to account. some of the biggest companies in the world paid no federal income taxes were exactly the same reason. that list would include amazon, delta airlines, chevron, general motors. cnn hasn't set a lot of that. they were too busy gloating over trump's taxes from the reagan administration. ladies and gentlemen, introducing mr. don lemon. >> you know what they say about casino gambling. the house always wins? [laughs] not always. not if it's a trump casino.

who loses their money at a in a casino? "i'm good enough, smart enough, and god gone dag gun, people love me." >> tucker: don lemon is easily amused. when the whole point of your network is to attack a single person? this is a major story. from his shadow we lay her head and high above the newsroom, cnn's secretive wharf king slithered to the from across the cable empire, >> lost more than double the next biggest loser in this country. so he's literally the biggest loser. his losses were more than double the next biggest loser in the country. can you explain why this is why he doesn't want anyone to have

this information? that he's such a loser, he calls people losers, has such disdain. he was literally the biggest loser in the country. >> tucker: trump lost money! it's a good thing cnn is on that story, otherwise no one would have guessed that donald trump had financial problems in the early 1990s. except people who were alive then. or people who have internet access now. 30 years ago, trump's personal debt crisis was national news. inside his wallet, trump papers revealed huge depth, read the tabloids. trump in a slump. even david letterman mocked a trump with a top ten list, top ten signs that donald trump is in trouble. in the end, donald trump recovered be he made the disaster part of his brand, he made a book about it called "art of the comeback." when he lost his reality show "the apprentice," he bragged about all of this. >> 16 years ago, i was billions of dollars in debt. but i fought back and i won.

bigly. >> tucker: what we learned last night wasn't really news but what's news is you can steal some of the private tax information, put it on television, and the body even pauses or asks whether that's a good idea, much less a invasion of privacy. are those the rules now? according to rules, those are the rules now. democrats lawmakers are forcing the release of trump's tax returns. how about his medical records? how about his internet search history? how about his transcripts of his phone calls? why not? and if people who don't like donald trump can get that information about him, what about those of us who do not like c and then can we get don lemon's tax returns? what about jeff zucker's internet search history for that would be compelling for it why not? what's the limit? is there a limit? president trump is on stage right now and about to speak. before he takes the mic, we are

going to checking with victor davis hanson who sitting on set. so you saw the story, news really to no one, but it sets a president that i think it's interesting, is it within bounds reveal people's tax returns? >> it isn't, but "the new york times" thinks it's checked in on and a higher good good, -- i do not understand the narrative. basically saying that 35 years ago donald trump was in his early 40s, he did 1 of 2 things. the guy who now gave us a 3% gdp plus and record economy that we haven't seen in 40 years is financially incompetent. he didn't pay taxes on money he never made or money he lost, so it doesn't make any sense. so i guess people into the idea that the manhattan real estate market is not the nicest place

deborah and people who participate in the take ups and downs. it isn't a story but it's a story in this case, the logan act, emoluments clause, the 25th amendment, mueller, it's one more that rather than here is trump's record, so the people who can adjudicate, that cannot happen because they do not want that question to be asked. finally, there is a record of precedent. remember, next there was a reagan ranch, every president has a life outside of politics but when they are in politics, they always say some cronies lost or made money, but people usually do not care for that usually baked into the equation by the time he's president and that's the record. that cnn clip is saying you cannot have this guy, incompetent 35 years ago and he is the best economy in the world right now and everybody is envious of him. if you do not believe that,

as november 3rd. going to be just as special. in certain ways, i can't say it's more important but it's equally as important because we've made strides like no country has made strides. what's happened to our country. we had a great time and we had some incredible rallies right here. we are working really hard for you and we are going to talk about that a little while. things are going well, okay? well. you got hit with a little hurricane called michael. that was not a nice hurricane, i can tell you that. but it's going well. i'm thrilled to be here with really truly incredible men and women of the florida panhandle. my friends, your strength, devotion, values is what truly makes america great and what make america rotten. you know tha you know our country come out proud of our history. and you always respect our great

american flag. i was last here in the immediate aftermath of hurricane michael. you remember. that was pretty bad stuff. i pledge to you unwavering support and the support of our nation until you have fully recovered and rebuilt. we will never, ever leave your side. we've already given you billions of dollars and there is a lot more coming as you do it. and to support your recovery from hurricanes, michael and irma, the federal government has committed more than $10 billion to the state of florida. it's committed. it's all committed. and rick scott and your new governor is a great governor. rick was great. ron desantis is great.

so now, rick has gone on to the senate along with marco rubio and they are all working together and things are going good. for you and for our country. thank you. i love you too. thank you. that's a guy, but i love him! whatever the hell you are, i love you. i announced that might administration will be a allocating will be recovery funds for the great people of florida. these dollars will help communities get back on their feet. we've already given you many, many, many of millions of dollars, but these are additional monies coming in to help the families put their lives together. some families are still working very hard. it's been a tough one. more money is needed. i've just come from a stop at tyndall air force base where i saw the devastating effects of

that category five hurricane. category five. never heard about category fives before. category five is big stuff. tyndall was scheduled by the military to close, right. you know that, right? i got a call from your great representatives and they said, president, they want to close tyndall, because it got beat up badly. it got beat. in fact, we have our best planes there. the f-22, it's incredible. incredible fighter jets, the most beautiful play and i think ever seen. and some of them were damaged, but we've lost none. we lost none. seven were very badly damaged but we lost none. and the military had it scheduled to be closed and i heard about it. i made a couple of calls. and i said to come in general,

why are we doing that? those people are incredible. those people? they work. they are just outstanding. the general, why are we doing it? what are we going to do? build a new one somewhere else in a bad location? i said, we have thousands of people -- we are going to end up having a thousand people back there working. we are rebuilding the whole place. we are actually moving in the f35 fighter jet, which is the newest and the best in the worl world. we've got a lot of them. we've got a lot of them. they are moving in. we've got many more people working at tyndale then you had the day before the hurricane. be prepared. they are doing drawings, building new buildings, fixing

old ones they got very hurt. structurally they are sound. it'll be one of the best in the country. okay? i was with colonel laidlaw who runs it. you know him? he's a good man. i was telling him the reasons but we fly right out over the ocean. when you do that, sir, you can do a lot more than when you fly it over people's houses. we know that feeling too. it's great and it's going to be fantastic. in the wake of the terrible storm, this extraordinary community pulled together and showed the world you are unbreakable spirit. down here a lot. i knew that long before the storm, by the way. and you've also seen countless volunteers and visitors, students and faith groups coming here to lend a hand to help.

like, almost no place else he could imagine. and of course, people are still traveling from around the world to enjoy your sun. i happen to be one of them, by the way. and your sand and pristine waters, which is exactly what you have, because panama city beach is open for business as beautiful as ever. and today, i'm doing the most allowed by law to support the people of florida. because of the severity of the storm, category five, we will have the federal government pay for 90% of the costs in many circumstances. 90%. and we can do that because of the incredible devastation and the size of that storm. so now, we need democrats in congress to work with us, to

pass an acceptable bill. we are getting close. it's pretty tough dealing because they don't want to build a wall, but we are building the wall. they do not want to do a lot -- they do not want to do a lot of things. so we are building a lot of things. we are building a lot of things. that includes additional hurricane michael relief funding immediately. no games, no gimmicks, and the delays but we are just doing it. by the way, fema come out people at fema, they did a tremendous job here and elsewhere, by the . they had this, they had texas,

they had puerto rico. puerto rico got $91 billion. i understand they don't like me. it's the most money we've given to anybody. we've never given 91 billing to estate. we gave it to puerto rico. 91 billion. i'll tell you. the service is, you look at the marines from a look at the navy, the job we've done there is really incredible. incredible. incredible. in fact, i brought a chart. would you like to see a chart? very haphazardly, i just happen to have it with me. so here's your chart. does everyone see it? so now... does anybody want a big board? they cost the government too

much money. but you can all see that! that's puerto rico. they don't like me. texas, florida, the biggest hurricanes we've ever seen. texas, florida. but this? and what the democrats want to do, they want to give more and more. i say, you know what? i have a great relationship with the people puerto rico. but it hasn't been fair, the way they've treated all of us from the standpoint of their leaders. they complained to her they want more money. they've got $91 billion. the largest amount of money ever given for hurricanes to a state, to any element, and that's the way it is. but you are getting your money. one way or another. we are not going to let anyone hold it up. i think the people of puerto rico are very grateful to donald trump for what we've done for them. that was a bad -- that was a bad

storm. and, you know, with florida you drive on. you have it, you drive on. with puerto rico, it's even tougher. it's called, you get into a boat or you get into something. but they did a hell of a job including bringing the biggest hospital ship into the island. i want to thank fema for what they did they are, what they did in florida, texas. you look at louisiana, south carolina, they got hit hard. north carolina got a piece of it, georgia, alabama. these are great places. they are all getting ada. but the democrats are trying to stop it. but you are going to get it. don't worry. you are getting it. instead of wasting time, spending taxpayer dollars on

partisan stunts, hoaxes, witch hunts, democrats should be focused on building up our country. did you see what's happening in our country? no collusion, no obstruction! know anything. two years on a witch hunt. in this audience, you could've found something. two years, almost $40 million. 20 from haters, democrats, i called him angry democrats. after two years, nothing. no collusion! and now the democrats -- we have a great attorney general. now the democrats are saying, we want more. do you know what? it's going to be, like, "we want the mueller report." they say, "be in the report? no, we want to start all over." we want to focus on infrastructure, focus on lowering medical prices and

medicine. always focusing on military and our vets, which we've done. the democrats really should be focused now on restoring and helping the emerald coast of florida because that's what it is. it's time to come together for the people of panama city, the people of florida, the people of our country. it's time to stop this nonsense. "the only way we are going to beat him in 2020, we have to do this." that's a compliment. think of what he said. it's the only way they are going to beat me. it's actually working the other way because we have our best poll numbers that we've ever ha had. it's crazy. it's crazy! so we want to work with them. we want to do infrastructure. we want to do all of the things that we know about and we are going to get it done. nobody has done so much as all of us because it's not just me.

i've done a good job. i've done a good job but you've done a great job because you came from all over. you came from all over. they didn't know you. they didn't know you folks existing in many cases. the invisible people do you know what you are? you are the smartest, you are the hardest working, you pay your taxes, you do all of your stuff. great jobs, great talent. you are the best looking people, that's for sure. you ever see -- i joke about this, but i'm not joking. they call themselves the elite. you see the elite? they are not deleted. you are elite. i always take heed. i say you have better houses. so do i. you have better boats. you have better every -- you

the big stories of this moment. thank you very much for joining us. i want to ask you about something specific not directly related to your work in the house and that's the news today that the senate committee has subpoenaed donald trump jr. that committee run by senator burr of north carolina, and republican. why are your colleagues in the senate pursuing a story that we now know wasn't real? wise is continuing? >> i'm assuming that the senate numbers are so tight and so close with republicans versus democrats. and in the house, it's whoever has the gavel has all the power. in the senate, they have to have some type of agreement. i'm assuming that they believe they can -- if you can believe this, they are going to take cohen's word, cohen, who's in jail, they are going to take his word. i think they want to bring from jr. in from what i can tell to see if he will keep the same sty

or admit to whether or not he talks to his father, blah, blah, blah, about the trump tower meeting pick what's very frustrating about this is that trump fusion gps working for the clinton campaign. what's frustrating about all the mueller report, and i'm not sure exactly what the democrats and the republicans are doing in the senate. nobody seems to be getting to the bottom to the involvement in the trump tower meeting. the republicans, we finished our investigation and said there was no collusion? we do not control the gavels anymore. we are asking to bring people in, asking for documents. we do what we can. but it's quite frustrating. but the bottom line to answer your question is, my guess is this is something that warner, the democratic senator, wanted. probably in order to close this

out. >> tucker: mitch mcconnell said case closed, moving on. maybe we should take a turn at running the country rather than obsessing over what we know is a hoax. but that message didn't filter down. >> didn't make any sense. >> tucker: i've got to ask you: how long until we see some of these key documents declassified? >> if the president can do it in anytime he wants, there are some folks who want to wait for the inspector general to finish his work. i'm not in that camp. i think the sooner we get these out, the better. as a matter of fact, the requests are piling up, right? i sent another request on friday asking about the professor. this is important because in what i call the mueller.ca , the mueller report. i call it the mueller dossier.

he's the first person supposedly who talks about emails from russia that are going to compromise hillary clinton's campaign. you would think that mueller would tell us who he is. instead, he's very tricky with how he describes that he is not some type of russian asset as the mueller dossier makes it out to be, we believe just some type of western intelligence -- he was in malta, a small island in the european union. he was in the foreign you're in the fair foreign embassy there. he was in the fbi and held conferences with the fbi. and this is the kicker of all of it. this is going to make people really laugh. the time we are starting our russian investigation, okay, in early 2017, guess who was in the

u.s. capital at the invitation of the state department? >> who? >> the russian asset in the u.s. capital. >> tucker: we cannot find this quick enough. let's have mike back to the president who was assessing the 2020 democratic field. >> i want to watch that one. by the way, do you see the tariff pluralist we are doing? they broke the rules. they broke the deal! tomorrow, he is flying in. good man. but they broke the deal. they can't do that. so they will be paying -- we are taking in over $100 billion a year. 100 billion. we never did that before. and we have that happening. a lot of good things happening with a lot of countries. we have a deal with mexico. nafta.

how bad was nafta? all the empty buildings, all the empty plans. we have a great deal with mexico and canada. we've got to get the dems in the house to approve it. if they don't want, we'll do something just as good. you've got to have alternatives. when they want to hold you up, which is a hold up, if they want to hold you up for political reasons, you always have to have alternatives. a lot of good alternatives. sometimes better. some of it is better. our economy is now the hottest anywhere on earth and is the envy of the world. every time a foreign leader, a president, and prime minister, a king, a queen, a dictator, we've got some of them too. every time they come into the office, they say, congratulations for what you've done to this economy. the hottest on earth, incredible. every single time that's how they start of the conversation.

you know it because the people of florida are truly benefiting about what we've done internationally and nationally. so thank you. our policy can be summed up in three very simple words. jobs, jobs, jobs. the united states' economy created another 260,000 jobs last month. way, way above what people saw. they were making productions predictions. then the big one, they were thinking 1%, 1.2%. maybe 1.5. and our growth number came in the first quarter, which is almost always the lowest quarter of the year historically. 3.2%, crushing expectations. a lot of surprises, people? i wasn't surprised. since the election, we created nearly 6 million new jobs,

including more than half a million manufacturing jobs, and nearly 700,000 new construction jobs. numbers that if i would've said this during the campaign, those people back there, i called him the fakers, fake news media. the fakers would've said, he exaggerates. he exaggerates! they are a bunch of fakers, no question about it. but you know, in six years, they are all going to be out of business, folks expect they are all going to be out of business. now if we want to drive them crazy, i will say in ten years, they'll go crazy. see, he is a despot! he is a despot. well, ten or 14, watch. it'll be headlines tomorrow. "donald trump wants to break

constitutionality." i don't limit rate has reached the lowest in 50 years by the women's on deployment rate is the lowest in more than 65 years and will soon be in record numbers. women. women! remember last election? he's going to do so bad with women. i do great with women! we do great with women. hispanic-american, unemployment hit a brand-new all-time historical low. african-american! unemployment recently achieved the lowest rate in the history of our country. more people working today than ever.

and likewise, hispanic-american unemployment, lowest in the history of our country. i'm going to like that in the debate stage. i'm going to say, lowest rates ever in history. highest income ever in history for the different groups! highest income. more people are working today in the united states, almost 160 million, than have ever worked in the united states before. and nearly 1 million more african-americans are employed today then when i took office. think of that. right? that's right. that's what it is. think i just scream that now, 14 more years. 14 more years!

after hasn't happened in 20 years. they are rising the fastest, which makes me feel very good for blue-collar workers. and driving our whole agenda is a jobs boom that is historic. hasn't happened like this in many, many years, if at all. certainly during record keeping. hasn't happened like this. it has a lot to do with the fact that we've cut more federal regulations and regulations that any president in the history of our country, so these great companies can breathe and hire people.

thank you. we just passed the largest package of tax cuts and reforms in american history. and we got rid of the individual mandate of obamacare, the most unpopular... by the way, we would've repealed and replaced obamacare, but one vote didn't work out after campaigning for eight years. this particular person decided at the last moment to to go no. it's okay if it will end up getting better. sometimes things like that happen. you get angry. and you get a little bit sad. some of you weep. i don't weave. but you don't weave too much. i know too many of you. i know many people they didn't weep when they were babies. you get angry about it.

do you know what you do? you go and fight and ends up better than what you are trying to do in the first place. it happens. it happens. a good one for those of you who love your children, of which i would think is probably 95%. to keep your family farms and ranches and small businesses in the family, they don't talk about it. we eliminated the unfair estate tax, or death tax. so now if you love your child or love your children, you have a beautiful farm ranch, you go to business doing great, the old days, may be about two years ago, they had to borrow money from the bank, lose their business in many cases. now you do not have it taxed. if you love it, good. if you don't love them, i wouldn't leave it to them and it's not going to matter. it won't help you much. but if you love your family,

that's what's going to happen. it's a great thing but we are reducing burdens in our businesses. in return, we expect businesses in america to raise wages in america which is happening and hire american workers to do the job. that's what we want. as i stand here floating around -- this is great. i'm a little bit concerned about leaving the podium i'm holding. you have no idea what i'm going through on the stage. this is the worst damn stage i've ever... i've never seen that.

stupid people did this one. or brilliant. they may be the enemy. if they are the enemy, they are brilliant. but i want them the hell out of here. we are of a seeing trade policies that enriched wall street inexpensive main street. though everybody's doing great. when wall street does good, that's a good thing for us. a lot of you have four oh 401(k)s. this happens a lot. but this this big policeman, he comes to me. i was in new york and he said, sarah, thank you. my 401(k) -- that was a year ago. this happens all the time. he says his 401(k) is up 47%. sadly, my wife used to think i was just horrible at investing.

and now she thinks i'm the greatest investor in the world. i thank you. and now the numbers are much better since then. but that's the 401(k)s. everyone is through the roof and we'll keep it that way. we are going to make it better, stronger, taking a lot of money for a lot of these countries, these folks who have been ripping us off for a very long time. long time. i mean, we are defending nation so rich. i say to them, king, you've got to do me a favor. you've got to pay. but nobody has ever asked for money. said, no, no, you got to pay. we spend billions and billions of dollars, individual countries. it's one thing if we are helping people. who are being horribly treated, they don't have money. it's one thing but it's another thing if we are dealing with countries loaded with cash, make a fortune, and we are defending them for a tiny fraction of what it costs.

it's ridiculous. so it's all changing. it's all changing. one country -- i won't say the country. we spend a lot of money on. comic defending. very dangerous territory. it cost us $5 billion. i said to a general, please do me a favor, general, tell me how much does it costs for us to defend this country, which is very rich. "sir, i will check." comes in. "sir, it's $5 billion, sir." how much do they pay us? "sir, they pay us $500 million." i say, we lose four and a half million dollars to defend the country that's rich as hell and probably doesn't like us too much and we've been defending it for many years. so i called the leader of the country. i say, you know, it's not fair. we are spending all this money

come in great danger, and we have our men and women, the best in the world, and we are sending them over to a country? not there. you've got to pay. he he said, nobody's ever asked that before. i say, that's because you had stupid people running. i could give you 100 stories like this. said they can't do anything now, because it passed our parliamen parliament, i say, pay me something now. how much will you pay? "we can't pay you more than $500 million." this is one phone call, right? i said, make it 750.

now that's a long way short of four and a half billion that we are losing. so i say, make it 750. we agreed to a number around 500 million. it was one phone call that last for ten minutes. once they got over the shock -- now the two months is up, and i just told my people, call them and ask for the rest of it. okay? we have many countries like that. we have many countries like that. we have countries like saudi arabia. very rich. nothing but cash, right? i think they can afford to pay us, right? and they will. you know what? they will appear they are buying a term in this amount of equipment, $450 billion that they'll be spending in our country. we have a lot of countries that are rich. that we are defending.

honestly, when i asked them, they are almost looking at me saying, it's amazing that nobody has asked. countries we are defending, it's not fair what's happening. paying us, we defend europe, not fair, not paying what they should be paying. we'll work it out. you've got to pay their bills. you know what? in the end they are going to like us more and they are going to respect us. under the previous administration the united states lost a quarter of a million manufacturing jobs. you remember that? other countries, or radar factories, rob us blind. other than that, they were very nice.

they allowed china to freely loot our economy, plunder our intellectual property, and target are industries for destruction. that's what's happening. and look, president xi is a great guy, friend of mine. but he is for china. i'm for the usa. we are going to cp they come into tomorrow. whatever happens it'll all work out. you know why? don't worry about it. there is no pressure. we are the piggybacked piggy bank that everybody wants to rob. we have the thing that everybody wants. we are the biggest market in the world by far. i tell you, china was catching us. if another person happened to be in this situation right now, first of all that would be about ten people -- hey, i wish the cameras could spin around and show this massive field.

they want to do it they won't do it. they never do it. they don't like to show it. i actually tried to explain, the ones who are semifriendly. i say, it's good for your production value to do this. your production values are much better. let them know it. look at this field. they never show it. they will show the people behind me. they may have a lousy seat, but you know what? they'll be famous tomorrow. but it's true. they never like to show the crowds. i went to texas and i made a speech. and beto. has he followed like a rock. what the hell happened to beto?

we went to el paso. the arena was packed but we had 35,000 people outside. we have these massive movie screens outside. so those people that couldn't get in could see. he had 502 people. the next day in the news, "the new york times" guy actually wrote a story that he thinks that he had more people than me. can you believe this? no, can you believe it? said dishonest. most of them just said to go massive crowds -- welcome to his crowd was not massive. he had, like 502 people, according to people who count crowds. we have a very fun press. but that's okay. we are here and he is not. very dishonest people. and maybe it'll change. you know? what's wrong with having a strong military.

safeties of american families first. we want to help people. we want to be gracious. we need people, frankly. we have so many companies moving into our country. we need people. they have to come. last month alone, 100,000 illegal aliens were apprehended at our borders. do you know what that is? they catch them, they take their name! they have to bring them to a court. they take them into a court. they have to release them because we have tens and thousands of people in detention beds. and they can't release them. we did we make a great case last night. and i told mexico very nicely, you cannot let people walk 2,00y because if you do that we are going to close our border.
