investigators and then you have a small minority of democrats voting in the primaries that want to impeach the traitor. they believe that trump hacked the election with the help of vladimir putin and trying to cover it up. at this point, you can choose if you're someone in the media or if you're a politician. are you going to allow the sick dearrangement syndrome to continue or continue to profit from it? they're profiting from it and they're becoming famous. now, if you look at the forgotten men and women in this country, those are the people that trump won, the democrats have still forgotten them. trump is hitting hard with trade and jobs and economic security. the democrats are talking about impeachment, contempt, racism and global warming. the democrats are now fighting against the past and donald trump is fighting for people's future. the future has never looked brighter. more americans now by 20 points think the country is headed in

were identified what caused this. video games and marilyn manson music. marilyn manson was asked, what would you say to these shooters? he said i wouldn't say anything. i would listen to what they have to say. i applaud the kids. we should be listening to what they have to say. your thoughts? >> once again, politics turns humans to lesser versions of themselves. what kind of person introduces politics at a vigil? a politics. when you get to politics, it blinds you to the people around you and you adopt a cadence of a politics. there has to be a school or class that teaches you to preserve your humanity when you enter politics. don't change your voice. you know, don't adopt a fake accent. don't apologize for everything and don't exploit tragedy. i will say this. you can talk about this in a nonpolitical way. a really good debate or

conversation to have is the proven element that if you reduce the amount of media coverage of the suspect, you will save lives. because it has an impact on the copycats when they look at -- when they look at the killers, they look at other press coverage. so if you want to talk about something immediately and it's working -- >> i didn't even know the suspect's name. >> the media footprint has been shrinking. i think it's -- this kind of crime is always and persuasion. it's about what visual image ends up in a kid's head. a kid that is not fully formed. they see, oh, i can get famous. it's all about persuading somebody who is on the edge to do something. if you remove that persuasion, you save lives. >> dana? >> i would say as an organization, the brady campaign, think about this going forward, have a sense of timing and also i do think it's really interesting. we go back to this issue of mental health. we haven't figured out what to

do about it. some states have passed the red flag laws that can help. the other thing they could have celebrated and some did, the fact that in this shooting and in the last three that i can -- i believe the synagogue shooting, the one in north carolina and the third one, a fourth one that i'm thinking of in southern -- >> they took the risk. >> people went forward and stepped in front of the shooter or tried to tackle the shooter. it's different from flight 93 in a way. on flight 93, they had time to think about it. they had a vote. they called a vote. this was an immediate instinct in order to try to get after the shooter. a couple of them were in training to be in the military. so that was -- the timing was weird as well. >> this is what sets back activists when they use a one size fits all policy.

they don't look at what happened on the ground. sometimes it's a muslim terrorist. they say gun control. sometimes it's a stolen gun. gun control. doesn't matter what the answer is, always gun control. and they do the same thing with global warming. if it's hot, global warming. if it's cold, global warming. hurricane, global warming. raise taxes and regulate. that's why people lose trust in activists. the answers are always the same and they never look at the facts. sometimes they're different. >> juan? >> this event was created and sponsored by the brady gun control group. so there was no hiding who was sponsoring it and there's no hiding that senator bennett of colorado is for gone control and he spoke. what you have here, a situation that people are opposed to gun control and are upset at the parkland students, upset at new town parents, the kids walked

i think it moves the ball if we in any way further whatever agenda else other than listening to them and acknowledging a myriad of things associated with it like mental health. i agree that it's all knee jerk. >> sometimes a vigil is a vigil. you're there to comfort them. was it the paul wellstone and he passed away and it became a political rally. people thought it went too far. you have to be careful to treat it with respect. >> i think the message as always is to reduce the media footprint on these events. that's what drives copycats. it's a fact. it's documented. the less we create high drama and conflict over this, which feeds into this copycat stuff the better off. >> i think there's so many of these now in our country. you hear young people saying they're fearful about what can happen in school. for us not to hear that and say
