judicial rulings that have made it almost impossible to turn back or detain people with children. so hundreds of thousands of people are coming across the border, all of them bringing children with them at the ticket entry to the united states. that is crisis one. and processing all those people is essential for national security. at the same time this is an unprecedented humanitarian crisis because these are little kids being dragged across rivers, through deserts, put in harm's way and when picked up by border patrol they are put into facilities that were never meant for children, they are designed to quickly detain adult men who can be returned to mexico. was a problem with illegal immigration is mexicans and we hold them in facilities.

>> the question is how does the tsa get involved? a lot of people say airports, airlines, they have problems of their own, people going to these airports going to suffer as a result? what do you say to that? >> there is plenty they can do. what is needed are capable hands to do things like drive children to the hospital and stay while they are checked and drive them back, prepare meals, handle the property the migrants have brought with them that they can't keep in detention. that has to be processed and there aren't enough border patrol agents to do all that and even do a halfway decent job controlling the border. that is what they are doing. the question of what they would otherwise be doing, protecting us at airports, these are volunteers and the only people being accepted now as i understand it i people who are not on the front lines, not the

be viable. this changed in 1992 with planned parenthood versus casey, the supreme court said we won't let states regulate based on trimester but based on the viability. jillian: what do state see as viable? >> the issue going on with alabama, georgia and other states will end up in front of the supreme court, will we get a new definition of viability? rob: what is the definition? what does fetal viability mean? it is very confusing. >> right now the legal definition of viability is a fetus that is able to live outside the womb with or without some sort of medical assistance. compare alabama to georgia, georgia says once a fetus has a heartbeat around six weeks which is before many women even know

they are pregnant. that is why the argument going forward isn't going to be should we change our fundamental rights, you don't have a fundamental right? the argument is going to be when does the fetus have its own fundamental rights? >> alabama registered voters say abortion should be, 52% say, illegal in all or most cases. 39% legal in all our most cases, 9% don't know. in alabama you can't get an abortion if you have been raped or in the case of incest. >> which is another thing that makes this law so extreme. that is ridiculous. even in georgia they carved out an exception for rape or incest. alabama they are not carving out that exception. pregnancy is preventable. you shouldn't be using abortion as a method of birth control, but if somebody is raped or attacked by a number member of their family they should not leave their state to take care

of them. the law is the law and women have a fundamental right to do what they choose. rob: when you put a sweeping legislation out like roe v wade you have states like alabama, conservative people. there should be no abortions, go to california and oregon, completely different group of people. kicked back to the states in general. >> much of it is already kicked back to the states. we are about to go state to state. if somebody in alabama expects me to get an abortion, fine. we need to have the supreme court. when does life begin legally? we are not doing this every 20 years. rob: that is the question.

is the system of law enforcement. when we look at the seismic shift in technology used in policing this has been germane and i can speak from personal experience as a practitioner. on many occasions i used facial recognition to bring success in comparing images into the database for mugshots so it is something that does help. when we consider exigency of privacy in a public place the average person is photograph 200 times a day. the truth of the matter is we don't have an expectation of privacy in public and that is what this facial recognition is doing, capturing images and comparing it against a database that we already have. we take into consideration the stopping of individuals with facial recognition. it merely amounts to reasonable suspicion. the police will cooperate if this individual was in fact involved with a particular crime. it is not automatic, it doesn't constitute probable cause to arrest someone. it really constitutes reasonable suspicion to conduct a stop and confront if this is the individual you are looking for? .
