against the president of the united states, it went so far beyond that as those clips demonstrated to position him as david in david and goliah narrative and that gives him credibility, saying nice things about him and not really treating him as someone who is untested and unproven, they don't know whether he's credible, they were giving him credibility. >> some of them like the antitrump rhetoric and pictures of stormy daniel, i'm going to iowa and some of these as we just saw m more clips, high-profile anchor reporters took the delusion seriously. >> enemy of donald trump is the media's friend and that explains the rise of avenatti which was rapid and serious and he had been given credibility by the media months and months, he was able to float fakeless accusation at crucial time.

>> he represented to remind people third kavanaugh accuser julie, terrible things, turned out to be unsupported, no corroboration whatsoever and he got media microphone to spread those things. >> he was treated seriously and credible all because he was given credibility over course of months because he was the enemy of donald trump and to some extent there was a great narrative there, that's absolutely true but went so far beyond telling that story, so far beyond interviewing, he was actively praising him in some cases. >> come back to the notion that he was going to run for president, if he hadn't, he has several indictments, extorting nike, another involving diverting money from former partners, even if none of that had happened, the idea that he would run for and be serious contender, a guy representing a porn star for the democratic nomination seems ludicrous but

that's not how it was treated in some corners. >> you in the edge of donald trump, you have to take seriously people that -- come on, he was representing stormy daniels, it was just a a ridiculous storm from the start. >> do you think even though with no political experience we have seen is capable of getting traction in politics. >> it's question of lower or different. i don't know what the american people initially want in a president anymore, i get again why there was some interest in michael avenatti, it wasn't a billionaire who had been apprentice and totally different. >> right, right, he was a lawyer, problems, entitled to presumption of innocence. everybody in the media reported this latest indictment, he was stealing $300,000 from stormy daniels that she was supposed to get. what i didn't see was, almost anyone saying, we were wrong about this guy, we vouched for his character and turns out that was obviously a mistake. i didn't see any of that.
