repeat. four or five other teams have a chance. teams in a bit of a transition. ton of talent we have great athletes in this country to happen to be female. steve: at the conclusion of our show we will show you how to throw the ultimate world cup party. a lot of people will be doing tailgating watching fox sports. ainsley: over the weekend we were getting our fox news alerts saying that the president had struck a deal with mexico when it came to immigration because those tariffs were supposed to take effect today they are not because mexico came to the table and negotiated with our president. steve: that's right. and just to prove that they are going to back it up, they have already started making the first arrests. that train that we have shown you a million times. ainsley: the beast. steve: it goes from the south of mexico up toward the united states. over out weekend, the national guard of mexico down by guatemala, they pulled over the train, 200 people scattered. they made 25 arrests. so, so far, it looks like they are trying to do something. because we hadn't seen them do that before.

brian: here's an outline of the deal that is still being solidified. the mexican national guard will go down to the tune 6,000. we were told by the mexican ambassador to the united states. their national guard is different than ours. this is a police force. they are allowed to act to make apprehensions. sign stead of 50 that are there now and they forget to lock the gate. now they have 6,000 already making arrests. also, taking actions to dismantle human smuggling and trafficking. i don't think we are easily duped on this. hopefully there will be confirmation. asylum seekers returned to mexico. our courts have backed that up. that was something in place. now there will be money put into that. ainsley: mexico is going to take care of asylum seekers, give them johns and healthcare and education. there will be further action if there are no results in 90 days. steve: over the weekend there was some reporting that all this stuff that mexico mexico had agreed to

has agreed to in the past. the president has come out and said this is fake news. ron johnson of the great state of wisconsin came out over the weekend and he said the way the president was able to get mexico to negotiate was in the senator's words. brill yengts. pribrilliant: understand -- prs using tariffs in trade negotiations and used them as leverage in this situation brilliantly, quite honestly. brian: it's like this. people said why is the president using trade to talk about security? it's obvious. for example, you are trying to buy a house and you have a real estate agent and they wants you to make a move. they might say to you i have another buyer. i have another buyer. what happens? tough make a move. the president says what leverage do we have over mexico? not enough. we do want the usmca passed we don't want to fracture the. desperate situation. i'm putting tariffs and

timeline on. guess what happened in the foreign minister shows up in washington the next day. and for four or five days one of the best things and chris christie pointed this out over the weekend. one of the best thing to happen is the president has his a team working on it. the vice president, the secretary of state there. and together they were able to hammer out a substantive deal that only the "new york times" was not impressed with. ainsley: the president was tweeting about that the fake news. steve: that's right. keep in mind, before this was negotiated, there were lawmakers on both sides, including republicans, who were very critical of the president saying hey this is note the way you do it. this could inflict significant damage on our country. nonetheless, the acting homeland security secretary kevin mcaleenan says this has not happened before. and we have a sound bite. just listen. >> the president put a charge in this whole dialogue with mexico with the tariff threat. brought them to the table. this is the first time we have heard anything like this kind of number of law enforcement being deployed in mexico to address

migration. not just at their southern border but also on the transportation rowts to the northern border and in coordinated patrols in key areas along our southwest border. brian: this is part of the solution. >> the other thing is it's going to be changing our asylum rules. we just have to say as predicted by many experts like tom homan the minute that flores agreement came into place that said you can't hold someone for more than 20 days the message went back to through triangle countries come now and come often. they are. we are to the point we have set 13 year record in apprehensions. they are turning themselves in and over 200,000 families have been let into our country since december. go ahead, we can't hold we payig for these mexican citizens. we will either tariff you. do the 5% tariff or you need to keep them your country. we are not going to pay for them. now with our new deal,

mexico is doing more for the u.s. on illegal immigration than the democrats. the democrats are doing nothing. they want open borders. which means illegal immigration, drugs and crime. steve: meanwhile, you just mentioned tom homan a moment ago talking about the flores amendment. and we have a sound bite regarding just that watch this. >> when this surge first started happening 2014-2015, we were able to hold family units in a family detention centers about 40, 45 days until you see a judge. final out of 10 lost their case. filled airplanes up, sent them home and border numbers went down because we clearly showed consequence and deterrence to false claim of asylum. when the flores came in and said you can't hold these families more than 20 days. i said to the court back then if you do this and don't allow us long neil gorsuch to see a judge you will see a surge in family units. i was called a fear monger around no evidence of this. look what's happened. brian: he also says he has

nfertion that this whole third safe country thing is still in play and has been negotiated will be announced soon. he said to "fox & friends first." he said we need three things. we have to detain families beyond the 20 days. extend by that we have to be able to repatriate unaccompanied minors right away. and we need to change the asylum standards and make it clear. steve: one of the things the president did tweet over the weekend was he said some aspects of the deal will be announced at the appropriate time. it is assumed that that's what it is referring to. an asylum change. and what that would mean is anybody who is in this country -- for instance, if they are from guatemala, we would fly them back to mexico because that was the first country. in but then if you are from el salvador or honduras, we would fly them to guatemala. and the experts say this is going to significantly reduce the number of people coming into the country because it's like okay. they are not going to catch and release. they will catch you and put

you on an airplane back to central america. ainsley: big issue concerning everyone even the crack candidates were talking about it. in iowa the hall of fame celebration. 24 candidates running on the democratic side. 196 those candidates spoke. and they each got five minutes. they didn't waste any time attacking our president and they were even attacking joe biden because he is ahead. listen. >> i'm running for president because we can't take four more years of donald trump. customer who decided to eat out strawntd business. i'm charging you more for everything because minimum wage went up. other people making over minimum wage because they're good workers they will have to get a raise too. there will be a ripple effect on down. >> no question. the other unintended consequences you will see more automation. more restaurants and trains and already seeing it in large scale brands right now with automation. brian: goes after mcdonald's. what's the reality about mcdonald's franchised owned. >> overall impact to the mcdonald's corporation is not going to be great. individual franchiseee is going to have a large impact. >> on top of that now when you walk in there is no one to greet you. you have that machine in front of you and hit your order and making it in the back. >> regardless what they say that's where we are heading and going right now. see it already with the kiosk with self-serve, we have been training americans how to do that for several years in the airline

mr. demore think he got fired by google? >> well, james and another fired employee originally filed suit last year on the basis of their political activities they claimed they were fired. but others at the company have also claimed this they were fired because of their gender, their male gender and their race which is white oration. which are claimed to be overrepresented minorities there. this lawsuit that's going forward now is a class action lawsuit on behalf of all job applicants who claimed they were discriminated against and didn't get a job based on characteristics. james and the other individual plaintiffs have had their cases forced into arbitration by google which by the way no longer does that to people but they have required james and the other plaintiff to do it. so we are -- we have been told by google that they there are actually several million people who apply to the company during the class period of four years and that it is an impossible task for google to respond to discovery on this. but the court said no, you have to allow discovery on

this and we are going to find out whether you discriminated on these bases. >> when you say respond to discovery, what you are saying is you want to see documents from inside google that supports what james said is political bias against conservatives? >> oh, absolutely. political bias and, you know, it's not just documents that this will have to answer some questions us. really we get to delve into employment practices and see what they do behind the scenes. notoriously opaque process. california law requires that they be pretty transparent about these issues and not discriminate on the things we are claiming. steve: when he was at google, how would this bias manifest itself? >> well, our lawsuit details an extensive practice by google senior executives and employees on people based on being just a conservative, being a trump supporter or even in james' case not even -- he calls himself a classical liberal. somebody who just says the company should be

graduates are in jobs that do not require a degree according to new york federal reserve, are we getting the stage where people should -- when you graduate from high school, maybe you should think twice about the path that you had been told your whole life, you go to military, technical school or college, maybe go out and get a job? >> right, well, there are many options, we bought into the lie that you automatically have to go to college and if you get a degree you're going to be successful. sadly, that's not the case. what can i afford, what can my parents if they can help me at all, and you have to look at the math, you have to look common sense and say, i can afford to go to community college, that's great, save tuition, even if you can afford to go to private college, if you can pay for it, that's fine, a lot of students they need a pause year or two, save up if you want to go to school, trade school, other options are out there.

cost you half of what a private school will cost you even if you step over a state line and go to another public college, it's going to cost you 3 times as much. i went to the university of tennessee and pains know say you all, but if i went to university or alabama or university of georgia basically same degree, stay in state, go to community college for the first year or two. >> i went to the university of kansas and grew up in kansas and turned out just great. rachel, you know, that sometimes kids have a dream and it's like i want to go to harvard, i want to go to some far away place and the parents who want to make their kids' dreams come true, i don't know how we are going to do, we will take out a bunch of loans, fast-forward a couple of years, somebody is holding the bag. >> that's exactly right which is a huge massive mistake, parents, it is your responsibility to show them how to do this wisely. you are not setting your child up to win by putting them 6 figures into debt for school

>> it's silly to claim that if you change the rules somehow every voter will see the exact same number of commercials and get the same exact number of postcards. that's just not how it works, right, when candidates run, they have pollsters, strategists, slice and dice the electorate in all kinds of different ways and, i mean, you're right, brian, they want to change the rules to benefit them, you know, it is not going to result in candidates hearing -- voters hearing more from the candidates, it's just going to change which voters get paid attention to more and shift a lot of political power to big cities, coast, which is why -- oregon is the last state on the west coast to pass this and basically, you know, almost all the states in the northeast have passed this, right, and illinois. you've got a lot of big city frankly, very liberal coastal areas, they see this as being in their interest and yet as you point out, move away from the constitution, move away from checks and balances, very risky, a lot of practical --
