bunch of happen since recently as april 22 when iran said it was going to interfere with shipping in the persian gulf. now it has, it also tried to attack our embassy in baghdad also respolean. both iran and his proxies. and waging war against saudi arabia. if we don't act against it the start will just get more and more worse and of course, iran has a habit of targeting u.s. forces, blowing up marine barracks in beirut, military barracks, the towers in saudi arabia, it has two proxies on the israel border so it will get worse until we do something. kristi mentioned possibly getting worse until we do something. you go back in time to the late 70s and early 80s and a lot of people are referencing attack to happen then and the fact that iran has gotten away too much for too long quite honestly. that's what a lot of people say. the question is, if this hasn't really significantly changed in that amount of time from the late 70s until now, what can

youdo right now to implant the change that will be lasting? >> we and our allies i think we should respond with counterforce, this is a maritime attack on all of us. even though the u.s. is an exporter of oil we, because we export a lot of refined products have to import a lot of oil including some that comes from the middle east, this is economically vital but we should strike back at the maritime capabilities with our allies, maintain escalation dominance. if they want to move at the escalation letter we should show that we are more than willing to do that in the military action would not have to look anything like the iraq war or the afghanistan war. it would place our advantages in naval and air power and make iran pay a price. it would also be politically useful because we can support for the bureaucratic regime with in iran. >> the secretary has been from of the saying is unmistakable what happened here.do think he's going about this and using the right language? >> i think so. i think you're being firm. i think they're not talking about military options just yet. i hope is because they are

consternation and controversy. why do you think we need this? >> the floors agreement is an excellent agreement. it basically creates if they grab a child to have a visa to get into the united states and it's really ridiculous. even if his well-intentioned is a bad policy and it has to end. we are on that letter in the house but there's also an initiative in the senate with senator lindsey graham working very hard on his side of the building. we're going to have to get this done if we want to fix the immigration issue. and i appreciate your comments about the challenges in guatemala but that is sort of a long-term fix. it won't get fixed right away. the crisis at the border have got to get fixed. it is dire. i'm also a physician in the human suffering down there is just, it is appalling. and we have to after the president is ready. he wants 4.5 billion, he has asked for, hopefully we can get that through the appropriations process. there's a lot of work that has to be done and it's a crisis,

problems in the northern triangle countries.but it's proof that the system at least on what the judge's are doing, they are actually doing their job and they are appropriately applying the law, what is a true you know, asylum situation. but really we have got to stop the flow because we don't have the court capacity to handle the flow right now.over 100,000 people in march. i mean like i said, it's a crisis and i will continue to beat the drum until we get a solution. eric: congressman mark green, getting back to record levels not seen in a decade. >> yes, sir. eric: thank you for speaking to us today. >> thank you. jillian: still to come, new fox polls out on the trumpet ministrations take on immigration. of savings and service.
