ready for war is the message from iran after an act of hostility against the united states. a navy drone shot down in international airspace. what do we know about how the us will respond? >> tensions are high between the us and iran and the race is on to recover that navy drone shot down by iranian surface-to-air missile. it is not clear how the us will respond. a list of target has been drawn up to present the president but it is up to him to decide whether to strike back. the drone was shot down at the same time donald trump spoke to sean hannity on fox news. >> i worry about iranian proxy wars and terror. tell me your concerns. >> don't worry about a thing, everyone is under control, don't worry about a thing. iran is a much different country.

woman leave a domestic dispute situation in sacramento. >> we are devastated tonight. there are no words for the depth of sadness, she gave her young life while protecting our community. >> officers say the domestic situation the most dangerous for them. it took 40 minutes and an armored truck as the gunman kept shooting. she later died at the hospital. officers lining up to escort her body away. right now the shooter is on the loose. police are evacuating neighbors and warning people to avoid the area. sullivan is the 19th police officer shot and killed in the line of duty this year. the fbi testing minibar samples from the dominican republic resort and this could possibly maybe help determine if alcohol is to blame for a series of mysterious tourist death.

get involved and he did get involved after the primary. of fancy vacation. this new study shows pregnant women are using pot more and more. >> it has doubled. look at these numbers, 6% of women say they used pot between 2002 in 2003, 12% from 2016-2017. a lot of women say they used it before they found out they were pregnant or to combat morning sickness but some studies show that pot use among pregnant women could increase chance of having a premature baby your lower the birth weight of your child. a lot of people in social media saying this is not a good idea. i say no drugs for your baby. another twitter user says offer

people can see with their own eyes the 2020 campaign fundraising within 24 or 48 hours, just to compare you can see donald trump, $24 million, the next closest is joe biden down at $6.3 million and down from there. what do you credit this amount of money to? >> this is a movement the likes of which we have never seen, the enthusiasm is incredible was a restoration of, by and for the people and that translates into record donations. we saw it in 24 hours, we raised on average over $1 million per hour, more than the top 5 democratic contenders on the other side coming to buy. also more than the democratic national committee raised the entire first quarter through april. they are spending more than they are taking in. they are bankrupt financially as they are of ideas.

the real problem for the democrats is not just the deficit in fund raising but the deficit in enthusiasm. i was in the amway center in orlando tuesday night. the energy is palpable. it is incredible. our supporters are so fired up and proud of this president and joe biden if he was there would struggle to fill the seats in the lobby. heather: several candidates on the democratic side readily admitting we are not going to draw crowds like that. i would go so far as to say president obama in his reelection campaign when he announced, nowhere near what we saw in florida, look at his numbers and compare those to donald trump as well, he is doing great and it will just get better from here. is that what you expect?

>> absolutely, the president is in such a good position, already relaunched his campaign, we have record amounts, the rnc breaking in a great amount of fundraising, working hand-in-hand with the campaign. that money goes back to our movement, to the ground game, data-driven operation where we can find voters and meet them where they are in states throughout the country so it is an incredible position. heather: on cbs on tuesday, wasn't a bread. >> we don't have that yet but what he did say as he believes the campaign, donald trump will win in an electoral landslide. >> absolutely. he won in an electoral landslide in 2016 when everyone counted him out. it was historic, it was unprecedented in the mainstream media and the democrats have

to bed. we have so many other issues that are more pressing in our city and more demanding, this should not be an issue. heather: they needed to vote to change the ordinance to a larger size but five people voted to keep it the way it is and three of you voted to change it. if it changed, the flag can stay up. >> yes. i would challenge my fellow councilmembers to tell me what harm, who it endangers and what right it violates of anybody to keep this flag up the size it is flying, these flags are ubiquitous, you see them all over the state, all over the country. i was recently in california and saw them flying out there. they are beautiful. we can fly them in california we should be able to fly them in north carolina.

heather: did they explain what they meant when they said flying this beautiful national flag is bringing infamy to statesville? >> it harms our city, negative publicity about it. we are a nation of laws. we have an ordinance against it but it is easy enough to change that ordinance. we change ordinances all the time if they don't work well for the city, we make adjustments to them. heather: the flag is flying, here is what the owner had to say at gander rv. >> the flag is not coming down under any circumstances i will continue to put up flags as long as i feel the faa is clear and people's health, wellness and safety are not compromised. i'm not going to compromise.

heather: he is paying $50 a day, that racked up to $10,000 paying that since october, given a notice in 2018. >> i believe -- he has been in violation of the ordinance. i don't have a problem with the city collecting fines but i think we need to move forward. changing the ordinance and putting the issue away. >> will be another vote or is this it? >> i don't know. it would have to be one of the vote in the majority, one of the councilmembers would have to change their mind to bring this issue up. for now it will be a matter of it goes to the courts. >> i posted what the breakdown was so people could look at that on their twitter account and see those, and talk to them about another vote. thank you for joining us.
