tv Watters World FOX News July 6, 2019 11:00pm-12:00am PDT
11:00 pm
i am greg gutfeld. i love you america. [applause] [♪] jesse: welcome to. "watters' world." i'm jesse watters. the nation continues to celebrate the july 4th holiday. president trump kicking it off with his highly anticipated salute to america celebration with mr. trump celebrating his patriotism and support for your troops. he offered up a rousing address and a dazzling fireworks display. but not everybody was happy with
11:01 pm
his gestures of american pride. >> he wants to be a kim jong-un, that absolute power. >> what is the message donald trump is trying to make rolling tanks down pennsylvania avenue. i suspect the threat is to his fellow americans. jesse: joining me now, dean cain and the founder of tushing point, usa, charlie kirk. what a good-looking set we have today. i think the ladies are going nuts trying to keep it together. the tanks out there to threaten the american people. they think this is tienanmen square all over again. >> a tank on u.s. soil? an absolute threat to the american people. we did a salute, a love letter to our troops.
11:02 pm
desmond tutu called it a glorifying war before he even saw it. this is a pride in america and a pride in our military. it isn't an attack on america. i thought it was great. jesse: you think it's great because you are a normal patriotic american. but sometimes when the president does something patriotic, democrats have to do the opposite. so that puts them where they are against america and against the flag, and the same thing happened here. >> no matter what it is, if donald trump does it, the opposite must be the exact thing to follow. the democrats are upset that president trump is having this celebration and we are spending money on it. jesse: how about $100 trillion for the green new deal but $2.5
11:03 pm
mill for our soldiers. >> and we have to give healthcare to illegal aliens. but we can't celebrate the greatest country in the history of the world. jesse: jfk had cannons and soldiers in the streets, truman had it. eisenhower had it. they had patriot missiles, they had madison and jefferson and van buren and polk had it. but when donald trump does it, you can't have that. >> trash tag orangeman. it's all about him. whatever it happens to be. if he cured cancer tomorrow he would be the concert death. >> they would say he's putting all these doctors out of work.
11:04 pm
jesse: . rue you wilwork.jess. reinforced by every movie and mattress sale. what are we number one at? it turns out a lot of things. civilian gun ownership with mass shootings. tv watching. health, education and safety are increasingly privatized. how great america is depend on how rich you are. america may once have been the greatest. but today america we are just okay. jesse: we are just okay,
11:05 pm
charlie. >> america is the only country in the world where those who say they hate it refuse to live. this film, this cheap propaganda film is all edited and produced by americans. saying we are just okay. we are number one in medical breakthroughs and charity and stepping up in times of natural disaster, protecting citizens that aren't our own. we gave away $500 billion to charity. but we are just okay, jesse. jesse: and undefeeted in two world war. we invented the phone, the plane, the car. >> most of modern vac evens. jesse: the internet, the television. >> we are number one in the economy and military which is no big deal.
11:06 pm
>> it was no big deal that you scourged the earth of governmental evil in the last 60 years. never mind you are the wealthiest economy ever to exist. >> you rattled off a list of incredible stats that i certainly don't have. but statistics can tell whatever story you want them to tell. they are defining this little thing and that little thing. i don't understand the rhetoric behind want to go say we are not great. jesse: they feel guilty about all the power and success we have had and they have not contributed to that. i don't want to both audience with it. but they juice these statistics. we know america is the number one country in great.
11:07 pm
>> it's the only country in the world people will clamoring to get into. i trasmed the world. i was in 23 countries last year. jesse: also something that's just okay is nike. nike is not a great company anymore. they are no really an american company any more. i'm wearing my overdans. but betsy ross is now under attack because colin kaepernick complained. don't sell them in shoe stores anymore. recall them because apparently the 13 stars around there is white supremacy, charlie. how do you understand that. i have never heard that before. >> it's a new one. i have never seen a failed
11:08 pm
athlete get so much attention for something that is so bizarre. colin kaepernick wasn't good enough to compete in the nfl so he made a could rear out of fringe social justice activism. this is the narrative put forth by the "new york times." america has made a mistake, but we are not a mistake as a country. if you are going to throw down our beautiful, rich history and overly generalizing, we went to war to eradicate slavery. we divide ourselves bitterly and we are stronger for it after and before. jesse: we were found on that flaw and slavery was a stain.
11:09 pm
i think what colin is trying to do, if he's trying to continue to divide this country, because he doesn't like the flag and doesn't like the anthem. on july 4, he doesn't want people celebrating this country. take a look at this. obama's inaugural. what flag did they have right behind him when he spoke. can we show that on the screen? there it is. if you can see. the betsy ross flag behind the first african-american president. >> they had two of them. where was colin then? you didn't hear anything about white supremacy then. >> it's part of our history. i think it's ridiculous. maybe it's a marketing ploy. i wish i could have gotten one. when i saw your shoes, i thought does he have the shoes. they are worth a lot more now.
11:10 pm
jesse: they are about three grand on the secondary market. >> you have a german company being more patriotic. colin kaepernick wants to wage war on slavery some would say some of the chinese working conditions that actually make some of these shoes is borderline slave labor. and in china they have millions of muslims in some would say concentration camps. jesse: also raising eyebrows on the 4th of july weekend. we have the women's soccer team. but they got a lot of heat for this celebration. alex morgan scored and she sipped some tea. everyone is saying this is poor sportsmanship. what do you think? >> i think alex morgan can do
11:11 pm
anything she wants. she is a great person and a nice person. it's sports. when you play sports, like when you play basketball, there will be some snap talk. >> and a winner. >> the brits drink a lot of tea. there is no disputing that. that's a little bit of in your face. i'm okay with it. the game was still going on. jesse: do you think the brits will survive this reputation mockery? >> they take soccer more seriously than we do. i think the nfl has gone in the wrong direction for a lot of reasons. if you are kind of not winning -- jesse: when i beat harley in
11:12 pm
horse, i won't say a word. i do enjoy, they are okay with colin kaepernick kneeling for "the national anthem," but they don't want this. it was very good. >> to think of that, it's got to give a lot of parallel points. jesse: the british have not recovered from losing the revolutionary war. they tried to burn the white house down. charlie, dean, very handsome. ladies, take it easy. up next, especially you, morgan. a new wave of liberal violence. how much do americans know about our founding? not much. >> what year did we declare our
11:15 pm
hey! i'm bill slowsky jr., i live on my own now! i've got xfinity, because i like to live life in the fast lane. unlike my parents. you rambling about xfinity again? you're so cute when you get excited... anyways... i've got their app right here, i can troubleshoot. i can schedule a time for them to call me back, it's great! you have our number programmed in? ya i don't even know your phone anymore... excuse me?! what? i don't know your phone number. aw well. he doesn't know our phone number! you have our fax number, obviously... today's xfinity service. simple. easy. awesome.
11:16 pm
11:17 pm
[bleep] [bleep] [bleep] [bleep] [bleep] jesse: he was admitted to the hospital. most of much his injuries still visible while recalling what happened on "tucker carlson tonight" *. >> while hearing people chant no hate, no fear, i'm suddenly barbed on the back of my head from behind. when i realized what was happening, it was too late. a mob of people all dressed in black and wearing masks started beating me with their fists and some of them used objects to hit me. when they started dumping what i believed were milkshakes and eggs, throwing it at my face which blind me. in the emergency room i had a ct scan which confirmed i was diagnosed with a brain level
11:18 pm
rage. -- a brain hemorrhage. jesse: three people have been arrested before it's not clear if the actual assailants are among them. this is the latest wave of liberal violence targeting conservatives here is the host of the jesse kelly show, and kirk -- kir schicther. >> they are not thin. the unifying factor is none of them can do a push-you have. all they can do is take a 5'5" gay immigrant journalist and
11:19 pm
gang up on him. jesse: they pick on the weakest link because they can't square up on anybody over 5'6". after the mueller report we have seen new levels of violence. we have seen eric trump get spit on. we have seen this. i think these people are frustrated. they can't persuade anybody, they can't legislate. >> action has consequences. for two years they told the american public trump is a traitor, trump collude. the dumbest among them thought that would mean hillary clinton would be president. now they are lashing out was the mueller report was a big dud. you see it all the time from the left. they wake up every month and spill milk on their unemployment check and they get mad.
11:20 pm
jesse: the media gives hem license saying we don't believe in violence but for maybe this journalist provoked it. or this journalist says he was attacked when kirk it's right on video. they soft pedal it. >> they support it. they actually support this cultural intimidation to keep people from situation they believe. and they actively support violence. they are not hiding it. this is a loser's game. they lost the war for the hearts and minds. you saw the idiots on stage last week at the democratic convention, illegal aliens, throw the door open, and work harder so you can give them better stuff than hour vets get. they have been rejected by the american people.
11:21 pm
this is a desperation move. and they are only going to get more desperate. jesse: they are hiding their faces because that's what cowards do. that's what the kkk did because they don't have the courage to come out and show their face. one of the people defending this group, cnn, let's listen. >> it's not about the law. you also have to know what's right and wrong in a moral and good and evil sense. that's why people who show up to fight against bigots are not to be judged the same as the bigots, even if they do resort to petty violence. jesse: you give a guy a brain hemorrhage, i don't know about that. >> that's how they view the right. they give tacit approval. they view them as being evil.
11:22 pm
it's no different than the tactic troops have been using since the beginning' mankind. you pick your oh point. dehumanize them and it makes it easier for you to do whatever you want. let's be grateful they are just punching them and pouring milk shakes on them. historically they have done a lot more. look at polpot. jesse: aoc visiting a detention center she called a detention cam. >> there is abuse. this is them on their best behavior, and they put them in rooms with no running water. and these women were being told
11:23 pm
by cbp officers to drink out of the toilet. they were drink water out of the toilet. that was them knowing a congressional visit was coming. this is cbp on their best behavior. telling them to drink out of the toilet. >> did you see somebody actually do that? >> in that last facility i was not safe from the officers in that facility. jesse: she comes down here, throws hand grenade around. she refuses to actually tour the facility. mischaracterizes a conversation she had with a migrant. a scandal erupts, but she doesn't want to do anything to solve the problem. >> she is a millennial performance artist who happens to be the head of the democratic party. do we want to give someone like
11:24 pm
her power? jesse: she is causing a lot of headaches for leadership, jesse. i don't think the mainstream democrats we hear about out there in the country believe that our men and women * actually saving children and families when they cross the rio grande or come here dehydrated are actually nazis running concentration camps. this is incredibly divisive and will alienate a majority of the country. >> i wish i could believe you have the mainstream democrats didn't agree. but did you hear a single democrat in the debate defend border patrol? cortez is bad for the country, but she is the best friend the republican party has ever had. i love that she is weapons grade ignorant and she is bold about
11:25 pm
it. she is the best thing in the world to ever happen for us. jesse: we love bartenders here. but the point is, maybe the best thing to ever happen to donald trump was aoc. if you put her on the ticket, fundraise off of it. we don't even have to cut an ad. you just say what she says. this woman voted against funding for these detention facility twice. and then goes down there and says, they are not getting enough resources. how stupid is that? >> of course she did. truth is a concept. jesse: how does aoc stop an
11:26 pm
adult male from el salvador bringing a random child across the southern border showing up at our doorstep. how does she deal with that. how does she deal with the sex trafficking. how does she drabs for them to child services, how does she interview them, how does she transfer them. >> she send a bus from tijuana, they drive in, they are let off and given housing and cash and healthcare. and that is her plan. open borders, then we subsidize these immigrants. i kind of like immigrants, i married one, jesse knows her. i briefer they come with an invitation. i'm going to have to insist on it. because this is my country, not theirs. i'm an american citizen, and i will make the decisions about
11:27 pm
what happens in my country, not a bunch of foreigners and not a bunch of half-wits from new york city. jesse: if you have a democratic party so focused on helping non-citizens and not focused on helping american citizens, where does that put the democratic party in 2019? >> it put them on the outs. they haven't lost the 2020 elect. they will pull the country to the left. it's sad. we just had a gallup poll come out showing 22% of democrats are extremely proud of their country. i don't like saying this. but the democrat party has become the anti-american country. that sucks, but that's the country we live in now.
11:28 pm
11:32 pm
11:33 pm
and work with whoever it is and they should be prosecuted. jesse: joining me now is diamond and silk. you can't make fun of congress women on twitter? >> i believe that anybody and everybody should make fun of congress, especially this democrat congress because they are nothing but a joke. and you know what? i cannot believe we have a congresswoman calling for the criminalization of america because they call them out on their foolery. who should be prosecuted? this democrat congress for allowing the crisis to happen at the border because they wouldn't give the border patrol the resources they need to do their job. >> not to mention all the things they say about our president and his supporters. look they call him racist, they make fun of him.
11:34 pm
we should be able to do the same thing especially since they seem to have priority over illegal aliens over american citizens. jesse: they can't take a joke, that's for sure. i think this could have happened because she is a colorful dresser. people on twitter have been comparing wilson to macho man. she is just taking it a little too far by locking them up for a joke. >> we can't help that if you are back in the 70s. jesse: kim jong-un was welcoming our president over at the dmz. our president took a step over on that side. a very historic moment. our own tucker carlson was there and witnessed the event and said
11:35 pm
kim wasn't looking too good. watch. president trump: it's a great day for the world and it's an honor for me to be there. >> that was mind blowing. the president walks across with kim jong-un. stood right in the middle of the street, almost no one around as you can see. these are the famous blue houses. kim was visibly winded from the probably 20-yard walk. looked bewildered. a lot of cameras going off in his face. we were probably four feet away from him. he seemed out of his element. jesse: tucker diagnosing the heath of the deck day -- the health of the dictator. >> there are souls who write
11:36 pm
history and those that read history. president trump is making history. i said girl our president is a boss. and i'm so happy that he's doing things a different way. >> that right he's a negotiatorr and ultimate deal maker. i love the way he maneuvers. >> i absolutely truly love that he's not scared to poke the bear. jesse: when you two call each other, do you have say hey, diamond, hey, silk. >> yes. jesse: you know what happened with betsy ross. poor betsy is getting killed by nike and kaepernick. >> i believe this is nike trying to garner up attention and sow
11:37 pm
discord in our country to keep it divide. if colin kaepernick is a spokesperson for nike. before you made the shoe, why didn't you check with colin kaepernick. >> he need to give up his money because the slave owners own that money. give them all the dollar bills. jesse: they will be in california later this month. ladies, thank you very much. still ahead. the. "watters' world" quiz. the best of the patriot addition. first the most of ridiculous federal crimes that could land you in jail. wait until you hear this list.
11:41 pm
jesse: file this under weird news of the week. a wisconsin man dubbed the serial toilet clogger. he stuck plastic bottles down the toilets in women's bathrooms in his job. the judge threw the book at him. in addition to the jail term he must pay $5,500 in restitution. complete 100 thundershowers of community service and serve a 3-year probation. if you have ever schoogd toilet say in a national forest. you could face time for committing a federal crime. i spoke with the author of a new book about how to become a federal criminal.
11:42 pm
three years in prison if you write a letter to a pirate? how about if you text or email. >> you have to talk about pirate stuff. n if it's idle chit-chat you won't go to prison. jesse: what about this, you can't threaten a clown. a lot of people don't like to clowns. why can't you threaten a clown. >> this one is going to be heartbreaking to a lot of people but we have to blame animal rights activists. congress protected rodeos and circuses. if you have send a threat to a clown and shut down the circus you are looking at serious prison time. jesse: what about you can't clog
11:43 pm
a toilet i in a national park. it requires that offender puts a substance into the toilet that is capable of clogging a toilet. >> it used to be only certain substances like rags and cans and garbage. but in the last couple decade it's any substance. so i'm assuming there was an incident. if you are going to on vacation. any substance, and even accidental clogging. jesse: all you hikers just so you know. while you are at the national park you can't give a horse the finger or might or make offensive gestures to a horse in a national park? >> i don't know, i never represented anybody charged with a horse mooning case or offensive gesture to a horse.
11:44 pm
i don't know what gestures horses find offensive. but any unreasonable gesture made to a passing horse. if the horse is standing still, go ahead wild. jesse: that's a really good detail for people planning on doing that. this is interesting. you cannot have offensive body odor in congress. there is a swamp down there in d.c. in the summertime there are a lot of congressmen with a few extra pounds. this seems easy to break. >> it's the library of congress. congress would never make a rule that bands their own body odor. it's the library of congress. if you have sufficiently offensive body odor or any offensive personal hygiene you can go to prison for that if you interfere with other people using the lie prayerive.
11:45 pm
the library of congress has been a beacon for other libraries and if they can million at a range of two feet you will probably be looking for and citation. >> you can't ride a manatee *. and be careful in the national parks. mike, thanks very much. coming up, the party bros are back with their thoughts on independence day. stick around.
11:48 pm
11:49 pm
americans will consume around 150 million hot dogs this weekend. that's enough to stretch between l.a. and d.c. more than five times. here to fill us in on how they celebrate the holiday chad kroeger and jt far, aka, the party bros. you guys usually blow out the 4th of july how and with what kind of food? >> we love to go down to cabo. jesse: you leave the country for july 4th. >> for sure. going there with my dogs after this for a bachelor party. chad ander jacked up. >> i can't wait.
11:50 pm
jesse: so america is celebrating its birthday. 243 years to be exact. what would you give america as a birthday present? >> i would probably get a group-on for massage. i got that for my girlfriend and she was so pumped. >> board shorts and a fire playlist. jesse: that's a good call, jt. i don't know if i can top that. do you guys do the fireworks thing? it seem you two might have some issues with that. i am not saying you are not proficient but it could be dangerous. >> i love fireworks. it's one of my favorite things to do. one time we set off 50 mortars to celebrate a pier jump at the
11:51 pm
end of junior lifeguards. >> it combined to make a beautiful show. i would tell the little dude scary stories about people losing digits so they don't get overly confident. >> i think the defensive end for the lions lost a few digits. j bone has a bone to pick. i was down at the jersey shore and i ran into your dad. >> i love you dad. jesse: but i was like, hey, is he going to be down here and your dad said yes jt is going to be down here. and i gave your dad my digits, and nothing. i got nothing. and i feel a little dissed, to be honest. >> my bad, dog, i'll get you
11:52 pm
next time. jesse: thank you. i feel better now. what's with the hats? >> dude, gentleman yeah, we are massive friend of nickel back. these are platforms that support them publicly. >> i think a lot of people love nickel back but they feel shame over it. i love nickelback and you can say it. >> they have been huge in our lives. the song how you remind me helps get us through dillon's parents divorce. jesse: i think the country would love to rock out to that playlist. do you have a favorite song from nickelback. jesse: nothing comes to mind but
11:53 pm
11:56 pm
jesse: time now for last call. this week we sell britted the 4th d we celebrated the 4th of july. i wanted to look at how much or how little the average american knows about this country and its founding. here is the best or worst of the patriots edition. how many colonies were there? >> 15? >> 12? >> 13? jesse: can you name any of them?
11:57 pm
>> boston. jesse: boston is a city. who is your favorite founding father? >> james madison. >> thomas jefferson. abraham. jesse: abraham lincoln? why is he your favorite founder? what about george washington, what did he do? >> money. >> george washington is one of the presidents. jesse: which president. >> the second president after lincoln? >> some folks have to learn the hard way he was a general or something. he didn't work with horses, did he? jesse: god bless you. the revolutionary war. who did america fight? >> countries. jesse: countries? >> china. >> great britain. >> that's right.
11:58 pm
jesse: what year did we declare our irnd even? >> 1984? >> 1884. jesse: 1776. >> 1776. >> july 4. >> 1776? jesse: what did the declaration of independence do? >> i have no idea. that's awful. >> i am not that knowledgeable on those declarations and the constitutions and all of that. jesse: what country did we declare our independence from? >> virginia. jesse: the name our national even them is. >> isn't it called the national even them? -- national anthem?
11:59 pm
>> the star spangled banner. >> o say can you see by the dawns early light -- >> what so proudly we hailed by the twilight -- i forget the rest. >> through the perilous fight o'er ramparts we watched -- and the rockets red glare the bombs bursting in air, gave proof to the light. jesse: night. >> that our flag was still there. o say does our star spangled banner yet wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave. jesse: "justice with judge jeanine" is next and remember,
12:00 am
i'm watters and this is my world.
