i would love to hear from you about this show or any other or what you'd like to see on the show. e-mail us at thestory@foxnews.com. have a great weekend, tucker carlson is next. ♪ >> welcome to a special edition of tucker carlson. >> tucker: the thing about climate change is it's serious stuff. very serious. it's not like the frivolous concerns that fill your days like paying your bills or keeping your marriage together or putting your kids through school or fighting cancer. climate change is bigger than that. way bigger. it's about saving the earth. it's about taking on what we're going to call an existential threat to humanity. a big deal. nobody understands the gravity of climate change with the soul-searing irn tebsity of alexandria ocasio-cortez.
5:01 pm
she talks about the green new deal that will save us from climate change. she looks like she bz to cry or yell or both. why wouldn't she it's scary as hell. time is running out. >> the world is going on end in 12 years if we don't address climate change. like, this is the war, this is our world war ii. >> tucker: can you disagree with the details of the green new deal she's proposing, banning cars and airplanes. shutting down the entire american energy sector, rebuilding every dwelling in the united states. you can disagree with that. what you can't question is ocasio-cortez's sincerity when she talks about climate change, clearly, she really means it. or does she? this is a man called sidecating barty, her chief of staff. in the interview, he made a
5:02 pm
stunning admission that all of that stuff about the world ending, 12 years to save the planet? it was all a lie. he is not worried about humanity's demise, the green new deal has nothing to do with that. here's what he told the paper, quote, the interesting thing about the green new deal it wasn't originally a climate thing at all. do you think of it as climate thing? we think of it as how do you change the entire economy thing, end quote. that's about as direct as it could be. not designed to save the world, thought about the environment at all. it's about power. he and owe sasso cortez want control have the american economy. they went looking for a hostile takeover of the economy. climate change is scary. it's remarkable they are admitting but shouldn't rj be surprised it happens. manufacturing crises is the less preferred way to exert control over the country.
5:03 pm
a decade ago only with a co-s in bed sheets were called racist. during the last election, donald trump was ee announced as a racist. now nancy poe lowsie and joe biden are being written offs on racist. there's much less racism than there used to be. what changed is the left realized they could create boogiemen, fear-mongering, stup fie the masses and by the time you have recovered they're in charge. robert hocket advised ocasio kor cortez, and a professor. you can see how we're betrayed, scammed, they're admitting ocasio-cortez's office, that the green new deal isn't about climate change or the environment.
5:04 pm
it's about economic control. why should we be shocked? >> a few things. from the very beginning it's combined, right, environmental cleanup on the one hand and modernization of the climate. it's not meant to be a takeover, it's a continuation of what historically has always been a great partnership between the federal government on the one hand and the private sector that makes up our economy on the other hand. >> tucker: the most vibrant sector in the american economy is the energy sector, the green new deal would eliminate it, literally eliminate it, actually not. >> tucker: that's what it says. i believe we debated this before. >> it would upgrade it, yes, upgrade it. the idea is to go to neutrality. >> tucker: upgrade it -- >> advanced economy. >> tucker: independent it. >> the other advanced economies are gradually transitioning away from carbon based energy. we'll join with the them of them in doing it.
5:05 pm
we're lagging behind. >> tucker: now i'm doubly confused. you're saying it is about climate, but he is the guy who oversaw the writing of it says it really isn't. that's just a pretext. >> i think you're fiction fixating on one sentence. >> tucker: definitely fixating. >> all that's involved in the green new deal project, all along, they have thought of it as a massive upgrade of american infrastructure to bring us into the 21st century. that will be a greenfication, there isn't any new struk that isn't green. if you are statement of the art, you are green. we don't make kor ban based infrastructure any more. >> tucker: what this is -- okay. so the effect of this is to allow people like you and him and others elected, ocasio-cortez just elected 20
5:06 pm
minutes ago, who have an amazing amount of control ore the way the rest of us live. >> no, no, no. >> tucker: you ghaet control by scaring the hell out of us. >> there's no desire -- there's no desire for control. it's about facilitation, bringing finance that is available. chuckle all you like but it is the case. >> tucker: it is all about control, that's the law. >> no, this is -- >> tucker: telling people what to do. >> it's a resolution, it's a resolution calling for a set of programs to transition the economy into a statement of the art green infrastructure economy. this is what other countries have done already. this is why china is eating our lunch. >> tucker: use all of the euphemisms you want. >> no, it's not. >> tucker: this is about force -- >> no, no, look at what china is doing. china now produces and consumes by far the greater mart of solar energy panels. all of those photovoltaic panels. we used to be the principle
5:07 pm
manufacturer of it. we were the principle exporting of it. we just gave that to china. we have given high speed rail to china. >> tucker: i'm sorry, let me -- >> and the different infrastructure. >> tucker: you're right china has ripped off our intellectual property. >> we gave it to them. >> tucker: you say it's not about control, it's voluntary. >> no, well, it's not voluntary, it's facilitation. the idea is to help -- >> tucker: then you point to china, to the fascist government of china, as an example of a program that you admire. >> no, what you don't understand, i'm not saying i admire china. the government aids chinese industry. our government does not aid american industry. >> tucker: now i'm with you on that. >> good. the thing is i have been thinking all along that you and i and the rest of russ actually on the same team. there's just a lot of misunderstanding what we're actually trying to advocate. >> tucker: i'll tell you why,
5:08 pm
you all use -- okay. >> many of your recent -- >> tucker: using climate change as a way to terrify the public. >> no, no, it isn't. >> tucker: yes you are. >> it is urgent. we're not trying to terrify anybody. we're trying to convince people what we need to do is restore collaboration between the government and industry to facilitate better financing of the state of the art green struk. we want to be the -- infrastructure. we want to be the most modern infrastructure in the world, fastest growing economy in the world. we used to do that, having the government collaborate with business. we don't do that new. >> tucker: part of that is right, part of it is dishonest. >> no, it is the case. marco rubio -- >> tucker: professor, thank you. i appreciate it. thank you for making your case. >> thank you. >> tucker: good to see you. well, aoc's team says they saw global warming as a preteblgt to take over the economy that,
5:09 pm
doesn't mean it's based on evidence of an actual problem. despite what they tell you, the science is not settled. we can all agree that the climate is warming, temperatures are going up. but we are not sure why. reserve muchers in finland have released new work arguing there's little to no evidence at all that the increase in temperature is driven by the,s of people -- driven by the actions of people. this is the author of politically incorrect guide to climate change. mark, summarize for us these findings. this is a japanese and finnish study. what did they uncover? >> this is saying that human kind does not have any control on the climate. man's influence has essentially been undetectible in the climate record. in the studies finding, clouds are much more control knob if you will. climate. now, it's just one study. the key is climate skeptics
5:10 pm
don't jump on one study. but there are hundreds of factors that include the climate. methane, volcano's, the tilt of the earth, ocean cycles. the idea that carbon dioxide is a control knob is not valid. and i point out over 500 peer-reviewed studies in the last year debunk the idea that co2 is a control knob. >> tucker: so, there are three parts, which people say climate change, three questions that are addressed. is the climate changing. why is it changing. and what can we do about it. there seems to be consensus on one, there is not a consensus on two and three. the questions that matter. or am i misstating that? >> no, in fact it's all about timelines. one of the tricks, these groups, tv weathermen, since 1970 temperatures have warmed. why use 1907 as a base line? that was the global cooling era.
5:11 pm
medieval period the same temperature may have cooled. the roman warming period, zero a.d., we're cool. if you go to the geologic history of the earth we're in the 10% coldest period of earth's history. 90% was colder today and didn't support ice on either pole. we have warmed, that's undisputable. has man contributed. the united nations says man is responsible for the majority of the warming, 95% confidence interval, a show of hands of selected activist authors, some of whom -- >> tucker: they're making it up. >> funded by barbra streisand, working for activist groups. then how do we control it. we cannot control the climate any more than they believed witches could control the climate. the witches were actually condemned by judges who were educated at harvard. this is the best and bright whoesht thought that witches influenced the climate, caused crop failure.
5:12 pm
that's where we are with the green new deal. the u.n. model -- >> tucker: i have to stop you there. but i'm going to look at google in the break to see that harvard educated judges sent witches to their death. thank you, mark. great to see you. just a matter of days a bad storm in the gulf of mexico will be blamed on climate change. but it's hurricane season. tropical storm barry is approaching louisiana and could become a hurricane. looks ominous. fox meteorologist is tracking it. adam? >> hey, tucker, this is a big storm, maybe not going to get up to the hurricane status. going to be right there. winds at 70 miles an hour, 74-mile-an-hour winds to happen. when this is said and done we aren't talking about the wind, doesn't make a difference. this is really a big rainmaker. we see the winds picking up as well as some of this initial rain. you up to 50 miles an hour, seeing the early stages of the
5:13 pm
heavy rain. in all of that wind, the rain, pushing up the storm surge. we're looking at slots getting from 3 feet to 6 feet of storm surge, puts places along the coast under water. major concern as well as just the rainfall totals in general. big area from louisiana up into mississippi, this makes landfall early tomorrow morning, going to bring the moisture. flood watches and warnings, across the region, the mississippi is running up to near record heights. not there yet but with all of this rain we may end up seeing it. this is where we look as far as rainfall goes. it will make a difference, shifting off to the west or the east. definitely we'll see careful rates getting up to about 20 inches in the next 24 hours. it will be a big rainmaker, slow moving, there will be people under water tomorrow. >> tucker: tough, adam thank you for that. democrats have done everything they can to turn the u.s. mexico border into an issue. law makers are openly promoting
5:14 pm
defiance of american laws. the people who make the laws are telling the people to ignore the laws. remarkable. chicken?! chicken. chicken! that's right, candace-- new chicken creations from starkist. buffalo style chicken in a pouch-- bold choice, charlie! just tear, eat... mmmmm. and go! try all of my chicken creations! chicken!

i live on my own now! i've got xfinity, because i like to live life in the fast lane. unlike my parents. you rambling about xfinity again? you're so cute when you get excited... anyways... i've got their app right here, i can troubleshoot. i can schedule a time for them to call me back, it's great!
5:18 pm
you have our number programmed in? ya i don't even know your phone anymore... excuse me?! what? i don't know your phone number. aw well. he doesn't know our phone number! you have our fax number, obviously... today's xfinity service. simple. easy. awesome. i'll pass. >> tucker: after several weeks of delay this weekend starting tomorrow the trump administration is planning to do something that it ran on back in 2016, enforcing the immigration laws of this country. i.c.e. is expected to launch raids in several american sanctuary cities, seeking people who received final orders of removal from the country. from a court. according to the president most of these people have been convicted of other more serious crimes.
5:19 pm
pptd it's not something i -- >> president trump: it's not like something i like doing but people are here illegally. we're focused on criminals, if you look at ms13, but when people come into our country we take those people out and we take them out legally. they all have papers. it is a process. i have an obligation to do it. >> tucker: the democratic party has been committed to keeping the borders open for really all of donald trump's presidency so far. they usually hide their intenses at least a little bit, people deserve their day in court first or only criminals ought to be deported. this case is unambiguous. every person being targeted by i.c.e. has received a final order for removal. they have had their day in court. they're not being held in i.c.e. facilities at the border. many have criminal convictions. it is enforcing america's laws. bill clinton did it, barack obama did it, before the
5:20 pm
democrats made their decision american laws don't matter. nobody should be deported, ever. >> these massive raids and enforcement operations that are going to separate potentially thousands of families, many of whom have committed no crime against this country, pose no threat to the united states of america. >> i hope that we can come together as party and stand up against what should be seen, i think, universally as the cruel regime. >> innocent people who may be swept up and arrested in massive raids across the country. >> if rumors start going on about raids, let alone is the it starts happening, it immediately makes the community less safe. >> we could be using law enforcement resources to really go after the folks that are a real threat to the community. this is all kinds of wrong. and we're a better country than this. >> families belong together, every person in america has rights. >> so he's going to create, as he often does, this distraction.
5:21 pm
i agree with you. and do these raids, which is, a crime against humanity. >> tucker: telling people who have been told by a court, by a judge that they must legally leave the country, enforcing that is a crime against humanity. this is kamala harris. hillary clinton meanwhile piped up from retirement or whatever she's doing, same woman who claims that russian facebook trolls are a threat to democracy actively assists smuggling people into the country. she posted a died to evading i.c.e. on twitter. and added por fa skrchlt or comparte, please share. gavin newsom has informed his state's criminals how to evade law enforcement. >> i want to say to folks that are anxious about a knock on the door, when we talk about knowing your rights, without a warrant,
5:22 pm
you don't to have open the door. without a warrant you do not have to to open the door. >> tucker: picture a republican governor making a video used with taxpayer money telling voters how, to i don't know, cheat on their taxes or buy illegal guns. what would the reaction be? cnn would call for them to be imprisoned. it wouldn't, because they care about the law. republicans do. on the left, a new reality is now explicit, laws and konses tugs are only val fid they're in accord with current democratic talking points. otherwise, can you ignore them. host of the bucks sexton show, joins us tonight. you hate to be continually outraged over the same story. but every week it gets crazier and crazier. now lawmakers are calling even forcements of the law a crime against humanity. >> there is a momentum, tucker.
5:23 pm
it's clear that they're engaged ins el mass nullification of immigration law. at any stage of the process, whether it's in sanctuary cities, talking about enforcement for people with final deportation orders. this is part of the con. initially there were no caravans and not going to be any problem no, crisis at the border. then okay there's a lot of people at the border, we have to let people go through the process f they don't get to stay after that we promise we will be okay with them being sent home. now we know that was a lie all along. they keep telling lies and running out of room at this point. that's what, we're facing nullification. you put up the lists, they're getting very close to violating another statute over immigration, i'm sure they wouldn't care, aiding and abetting. you can't actually harbor illegally immigrants, you can't employ illegal immigrants. there are all kinds of laws. some of the democrats seem to think they should do whatever they can to obstruct law enforcement. you talk about danger to the
5:24 pm
public, this is dangerous. >> tucker: it's crazy. but it's also unfash on one level -- unfair on one level. they're telling foreign nationals they don't to have abide by american law, ignore our laws. but they tell me i have to follow every american law. and if i step outside the bounds of those laws i go to jail. why am i paying my taxes? sincerely, why can't i buy a silencer? why am i paying attention to the law when is they're telling residents of guatamala and honduras, they don't have to. i'm not kidding. >> there's so much illegality that gets piled up, it's a lie -- it's against the law to lie to federal officers at the border about what you're fleeing. it is against the law to lie about your age. it's against the law to have a fake social security card. you go down the list, against the law to engage in document fraud. there is an entire sub set of u.s. federal law that is being violated with impunity and people seem to think in the
5:25 pm
democratic side they can ignore all of this. >> tucker: at some point somebody is going to make a defense in court along those lines. these people don't have to follow the law why should i. that's when things will fall apart. >> i wish the democrats would be honest about what they want. if nobody should get deported, no one have dim grags law enforced, the legislative party should say we want to be open borders. stop pretending that's not what they want. it clearly is. >> tucker: right. so clearly is. buck, thank you. >> thanks, tucker. >> tucker: congress held a hearing about the treatment of migrants at the southern border. during one particularly heated moment former i.c.e. acting director tom homan was accused of deliberately letting children die, because naturally he's a racist. >> i'm if aer father, do you have children? how can allow this to happen under your watch. do you not care?
5:26 pm
is it because these children don't look like children that are around you? i don't get it. have you ever held a deceased child in your arms? >> your comments are disgusting. i've served my country -- >> i find your comments disgusting as well. >> i have served my country for 30 years. i held a boy in my arms, i knelt down and said a prayer for him, i knew what his last 30 minutes of his life were like. i had a 5-year-old son at the time. what i've been trying to do in 34 years serving my nation is save lives. for you to sit there and insult my integrity and my love for my country and for children, that's why this whole thing needs to be fixed. and you're a member of -- >> we agree on that. >> fix it! >> tucker: good for homan. that almost never happens. glad it happened. child murderer, absurd. when deaths do occur at the
5:27 pm
border the people who deserve the blame are congress. if they secured the border as they promised to, nobody would be risking their lives to sneak across it. instead they have done nothing, instead they've lured people here, tragedy becomes inevitable. no one knows that better than the mayor of uvaldi, texas. it's been overrun by migrants from as far away as africa. thanks for come onning. >> thank you for having me. >> tucker: just caught that exchange. i mean, it's remarkable when you hear members of congress accuse law enforcement of murder, crimes against humanity, enforcing the laws that they pass. >> well, it's a shame the if they do that. we have an immigration center for unaccompanied minors, can hold 100 people. those border patrol agents there do everything in their power to make sure the kids are well
5:28 pm
taken care of, well provided, do everything they can for them. congress needs get, they have become elitist. the laws that apply to everybody else, they don't say apply to them. that's what is wrong with congress today. they feel like they can do what they want when they need to do it, they have become elitist. they're sitting there with all of these deals, this child that they're talking about, if they left their parents in the united states they're not allowed to work. how are the parents supposed to care for the child? not talking about that. that immigrant family is not allowed to work in the united states until they have a hearing. because it's so backlogged, congress has done, they're two to three years before they may have a hearing. it's ridiculous. they want to sit there and claim they're championing the kids? they're setting the families up to fail and not doing any favors. what we will be doing the same i.c.e. roundup, six years from now, five years from now, because they didn't have the hearing or show up for the hearing. they're just, trying to pull the
5:29 pm
wool over the american people's eyes. >> tucker: that's an excellent point, and i think most people may not have been aware of. mr. mayor, thank you for that. we have a fox news alert for you, robert mueller's highly anticipated testimony on capitol hill has been pushed book by one week. the chairman of the house judiciary committee jerry nadler and intel chairman adam schiff say they have reached a deal with mueller to have him testify on wednesday, july 24, for, quote, an extended period of time. we will be covering that testimony that evening. not that we will likely learn anything. the left says quote assault weapons don't work for self-defense. they're weapons of war and they can never protect families. that's a lie. inspiring story for you from florida where one man with an a.r.-15 saved his life after four home invaders showed up. we'll tell you what happened next. when did you see the sign?

>> tucker: on the campaign trail democratic presidential candidates made it very clear over the past couple of months you do not deserve the right to defend yourself. they have body guards, you're paying for them. when they get power, they're going to take your guns away. >> every candidate should pledge that they would support a ban and buyback of the 15 million assault weapons in our country. >> we need a renewed asaurlt weapons ban. >> ban the sale and distribution of assault weapons. >> i'm also the only guy that got assault weapons banned. banned. and the number of clips in gun, ban. >> universal background checks and renewal of the assault weapons ban. >> tucker: assault weapons. that's a category they simply made up. by the way it's category of rifles that are used in a very small percentage of crimes and
5:35 pm
murders. democrats tell that you these rifles have no value whatsoever for self-defense. one man knows differently. on wednesday night in marion county, florida four armed home invaders broke into the home of a 61-year-old man. one of the invaders was wearing a mass frk a horror film. in eric swalwell's world the homeowner would have been helpless. but thankfully that man lived in america and he was able to defend himself. using an ac-15 he killed two of the intruders, the other two arrested. the homeowner was shot but is alive thanks to his ar-15. this is a former army ranger sniper and writer at the federalist. i've been listening to eric swalwell clearly an expert on firearms who said that the ar-15 is useless as a home defense weapon. but here it was used for home defense. how did that happen? >> well, look, the ar-15 is so
5:36 pm
popular because it's low recoil. it's ergonomic, easy to use. even some of the features that the anti-gunners want to attack like the adjustable stock that makes it safer, useer to use, some one with a smaller frame can adjust to it fit them. it is a popular firearm for a reason. >> tucker: well that's kind of the point. maybe that's why they want to ban it. ar-15s are not used in the overwhelming majority of murders and armed robberies. >> look at fbi stats, the fbi statistics show us that hammers are used more in violent crimes than all rifles, not just sub-set of rifles ar-1 5s. even these things -- >> tucker: hammers, like hammer and nail? >> the mag capacity, high capacity magazines, thank god he had a high capacity magazine. he had four armed attackers coming after him in his home. that's what he needed to stay alive.
5:37 pm
you mention eric swalwell's world, i'm glad we don't live in joe biden's world. this if he had his way this man may not be alive. joe biden said all you need is a double barrel shotgun, fire two blasts out the door. i may not be good at math but my friend is, he said two barrels and two shotgun shells with two blashtses outside of a window leaves you with zero chance to protect yourself. not only is it reckless and dangerous to fire outside a window like joe biden suggests, if ar-15s were banned this man may not be alive. >> tucker: is it weird to hear a guy surrounded by taxpayer funded body guards telling you what you need to defend yourself? >> of course it is. i actually see the same argument with walls and guns and everything. it is good enough for them but not for us. it is downright scary. >> tucker: exactly. that is exactly right. so, is there, do you think, any
5:38 pm
momentum for a ban on rifles like this? >> i hope not. there seems to be in the democratic candidates. when they talk about renewing the assault weapons ban they hint at the previous one. remember during the clinton era. i'd love to go fak and show them the stats. when violent crime went up in the middle of the assault weapons ban, violent crime was at its worst. it has steadily decreased ever since we stopped that ban. why in the world would we go back to that. all we do is remove people like this man a'sbilt to defend himself. >> tucker: i have asked you this before, but it's something that gnaws at me. there's no evidence that what they're proposing will make the country safer. none. they know that. >> true. >> tucker: why propose it, what is the motive? >> i don't want to get con spirry theorist on you, but
5:39 pm
whenever a politician tells you don't need guns is when you need guns. if this is clearly ability for man to protect himself, clearly an ability for what the second amendment was for. the a.r.-15, might not be popular, it's the modern musket. the musket when we had them, when it was written, that was a military grade firearm, what people knew how to use and had in their homes. what the ar-15 is today. it flies in the face of the statistics that keep us safer. they're not being used in crimes. here's one more example of a defensive gun use, using an ar-15, i'm glad he had. >> tucker: too much power, too much autonomy, they don't want the citizens to make their own decisions. great to see you. >> thanks for having me on. tg the left would like to change the constitution to change american voters and to take over the american economy. but do they want more? do they want to change america's soul? a new book argues that, yes, the

left would like to destroy christianity in america. the author joins with us his case, next.

>> tucker: it's easy to forget maxine waters has a day job. not just a folk hero to the left and joke to everyone else, she's a member of congress. she chairs the house financial services committee. which is a big deal. you think she would be spempbtding her time making sure the financial sector didn't collapse like 11 years ago. no, that's too complicated. instead waters spends her time creating the sub committee on diversity and inclusion. listen to democratic congresswoman sylvia garcia
5:45 pm
explain why we need this. >> one of the most disheartening things for me was dealing with the financial world. not because they couldn't handle the work because who i faced sometimes. it seems like any meeting that i went to, whether to negotiate a depository contract for a banking account, or select investment bankers, anything that i did, it really was still a man's world and it was also very white. >> tucker: still really white. that's the cruellest slur she could think of. deeply upsetting to her. you may be shocked to hear a sitting member of congress make racist comments. that's normal now on the left. nobody even noticed when she said it. democrats continued working on what they call the diverse asset manager's act. if passed this law would require every single firm engaged in the $70 trillion asset management business to implement
5:46 pm
affirmative action based on sex and skin collar, companies required to file reports with the government describing the race of their employees. according to democrats, the race is the single most important thing you about. you aren't an individual create ud neekly by god, are you a faceless member of a herd whose entire significance can be summed up by the color of your skin. incredibly creepy and crank. if there's -- and wrong. if there's one reason to vote republican, it's to push back against this insanity. but the republicans aren't. they have taken turns extology how important this committee it is and how critical it is to foster finance instead of fostering fairness, confidence. ann wagner is the republican ranking member on that committee, she said she's honored to working on what she calls a very important subcommittee. she might be rewarded for that groveling. another committee member said they should require them on interview people of specific

rights to life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, tolerance, freedom of speech, everyone of these originated as a christian idea. and a protestant christian idea. that's because 98% of the people who created this country were protestant christians. before the protestant refermation, you had to go through the catholic church and priest hood to get into heaven. reformers understood that churches and governments are institutions created by human beings and therefore subject to the corruption of human beings. they came up with this brilliant and revolutionary idea of the priest hood of all believers. the idea being that each of us faces our maker one-on-one. without the intermediary of a church, or a priesthood. when you think about that for a moment, that not only makes

60-year attack on christianity in the country. they have driven prayer and religion out of the schools. you can't teach a public school child that the pilgrims were christians fleeing persecution. so americans no longer know where their freedoms come from. that's why the democratic party now, you know, full scale march to eliminate a lot of the institutions that were there from the beginning. like the electoral college, they want to do away with the senate, and so forth. because they don't understand where our freedoms come from or what their nature is. >> tucker: that was a remarkable summation. that has led you as a nonchristian to want to defend, at least acknowledge and explain america's christian heritage. what kind of response have you gotten? >> i'm also an agnos particular. but you -- agnostic.

you can't have inalienable rights in america without god. i'm not an atheist, i just don't know, i'm agnostic. you have to have respect for the idea of god and the respect for people who believe in god to preserve the freedoms f they come from government, people like maxine waters, they're going to be taken away. so, the very frame work of our freedom is dependent on the christian nature of the country. as is the fact that they're a secular republic. why are we a secular republic? all of these different protestant sects understood, they were fleeing established churches in england. they don't want any particular religion to be dominant. or any particular interpretation
