tv   The Ingraham Angle  FOX News  July 16, 2019 7:00pm-8:00pm PDT

7:00 pm
busy cleaning up the mess you left, i will take you up on the challenge. you name the time in the place and i'm ready. i don't -- tell me where and when. that is all the time we have left. we will never be the destroyed hate medium up, let your heart not be troubled, laura ingraham or both of us. >> laura: not bad. probably both biden and trump, no problem whatsoever. >> sean: what you say that? >> laura: i don't care. i can do more push-ups than either biden or him, but that is not really come i mean they have a few years on me at least, but let me tell you, hannity it always comes down to that for guys, doesn't it? a playground thing, oh, come on, no. he wants to show he still got it. he's a strong intellect. >> sean: joe has no energy. his own team knows in a second he's going to say another dumb thing and he will.
7:01 pm
>> laura: will, i don't know what that will distinguish him in that field. all right, you take care, i'm laura ingraham "the ingraham angle" from washington and tonight who are nancy pelosi and company really aligning themselves with when they come to the defense of aoc plus three? my ankle and reaction from former house speaker newt gingrich and dr. cornell west, that will be interesting up ahead. plus the media obsess over trump's tweets. why have they been ignoring anti-american violence at the hands of antifa thugs? california is literally going back to the dark ages, not literally, but it seems like it. we speak to an assemblyman who is warning about a station of rats -- infestation of rats across the state. i wish we were joking but democrats knew aoc plus three agenda. that is the focus of tonight single.
7:02 pm
last night, i explained the smart political strategy of trump's decision to take on congressman alexandria ocasio-cortez, ilhan omar, rashida tlaib and ayanna pressley calling out and elevating "the squad" and socialist agenda for all to see. now the democrats naturally rushed in to defend the radicals whom speaker pelosi referred to as our girls. they approved a resolution denouncing trump's "racist comments." >> every single member of this institution democratic and republican should join us in condemning the president's racist tweets. >> donald trump, president of the united states is unfit to be president. >> we are one. that is what makes america a great country. and no matter what xenophobic behavior is coming out of 1600 pennsylvania avenue, we will never let anyone take that away from us, not now, not ever.
7:03 pm
>> laura: by swinging the club of racism at president trump -- trump, democratic leaders fell into his trap defending the damsels framing distress binds them all together now. i think aoc plus three are kind of untouchable. if this keeps up, they will be calling all the shots and you bet, they are in bold and frankly, the majority leader is complicit in advancing racism in america and he doesn't even have the backbone to speak out. >> laura: again the mind-set is this my white broth or working with any republican and risk giving trump a win? it is easier for "the squad" to brandon he went that disagree with them as racist. this election is shaping up to be a humdinger. trump's record a piece of prosperity or aoc's socialist
7:04 pm
agenda that would require massive compensation and government control. the americans will have a stark choice to make. trump tweets bravado aside, think about what this democrat party, that is now undeniably captive aoc plus three, what they would do if they ever got real control back. i mean, they won't even pass infrastructure but with that means giving trump any kind of a win. ditto for the youth new u.s.-mexico trade deal. that would mean more jobs and money for the american workers here. define young radicals have been very transparent to give credit about their agenda. on immigration, no borders, no detention, no deportation. >> a call of action, which i support. >> would you get rid of homeland security too? >> i think so. >> we need to abolish i.c.e.
7:05 pm
>> ice protect my family from the militarization happening in the neighborhood. >> laura: understated as usual. now the green new deal will require massive tax increases, a higher cost of living across the board and more power, you guessed it, for the elites in washington. >> with a new green deal, we will no longer pass the buck, not on claimant, not on jobs, not on equity, not on justice. the resolution itself does not have a price tag on it which is why we address each individual. >> of the soaring price tag of the prenew deal, new analysis this morning from the american action form. this is douglas firm and he said it could cost up to $93 trillion over the next ten years. >> laura: a trillion or two or ten or a hundred among friends. let's talk about the medicare for all first. now that jim will ensure medicare goes bankrupt even sooner. and of course it will ultimately
7:06 pm
eliminate your insurance. >> we need something bold, courageous, informational. and that is supporting medicare for all. >> medicare referral is actually much more, is actually much cheaper than the current system we pay right now. >> once and for all, guarantees every single american the basic rights to health care. >> laura: and we cannot forget reparations. now, a french issue debated in academia is now a litmus test for aoc plus three democrats. >> a firmly support congresswoman jackson lee still to create a commission study reparation. >> would you send that bill? >> yes. [applause] >> would you sign it? >> i support any opportunity for restorative justice. >> laura: well, i'm sure that won't cause massive resentment
7:07 pm
in america across multiple ethnic and racial groups. no, that will go over real well. aoc's america the racist label will be used regularly to slime people they don't like. in order to help people they do. now, this label will be used to cycle debates, to marginalize, and demonize opposing voices. it is already happening. remember, not even democrats will be safe. look what they try to do to biden for working years and years ago with democrat segregationist and the congress. remember this? this gym, well nancy pelosi is not a racist but -- that moment last week. >> and knowing the media, knowing the amount of democrats that we get, knowing the amount of concentration tension, i think it is worth asking why. do you think racial animus? no, absolutely not. >> laura: that is a little
7:08 pm
warning, watch your step. we are the future, you are the past. and i think 79 europa lucy cut the message. pushing for a resolution condemning president trump and defending aoc plus three. democrats who do not line up with the aoc plus three over -- that american built on evil, corrupt system by evil, corrupt men. they will have a rude awakening. >> we don't need any more brown faces that don't want to be a brown voice. we don't a black faces that don't want to be a black voice. we don't want boys that want to be boys. [applause] for people who claim to be so open and welcoming and tolerant, they sure like shutting people out, don't they? it's get in line or get out. and then they complain about trump saying that in that tweet? imagine this approach apply to
7:09 pm
your schools to the health care and rule of law and even to your places of worship. they will police at all. is that what americans really want to in 2020? give up the games and therefore, their 401(k) and 529 accounts, year-end bonuses in order to watch, get behind that agenda? meanwhile, trump, i think he will pretty much work with anybody. even though they have insulted him and threatened his administration. now he does that because he wants america to keep winning. which will mean more money in your pocket, a better life for your family, and more freedom from government control. in the end, it should be an easy choice. and that is the angle. all right, here to respond rabbi spokesman for the national conference, cornell west, professor of the practice of public philosophy at harvard university and president of muslims facing tomorrow.
7:10 pm
rabbi camilla start with you, your response to this resolution from nancy pelosi, but not for her own members and their anti-semitic language. >> this is such a hypocrisy back in the early part of march, when we ask the speaker of the house nancy pelosi to condemn omar for blatant anti-semitic remarks, it is in the end she could not come through against anti-semitism per se. even though the remarks by omar were racist. they were against and they had all types of anti-semitic for decades and decades. and she couldn't do it. but all of a sudden within 24 hours, she's ready to condemn the president and call him a racist when he didn't do anything that was racist. this just shows how pitiful the situation is with nancy pelosi. she is afraid of cortez. she is afraid of omar and she's afraid of the hit squad, not
7:11 pm
just "the squad" but a hit squad and she will do anything to impugn the name, the reputation of the president. you know, what we have here is mechanization that the president somehow was criticized women of color because they were women of color. not so. he criticized them because what they are saying is repugnant, despicable. antiwhite, they talk about white people has if we are all a bunch of evil people. she talks about, anti-semitic fashion. he has nothing to do with their color. it has to do with what they say. >> laura: let's go to the professor west, you've seen all the developments the last four or five days. they were going after biden a couple of weeks ago but then they moved to pelosi and now trump with a tweet. kind of gave them an opening and here we are today. your thoughts. >> one might want to thank you for allowing three representatives of the great legacy of jerusalem and judaism and christianity.
7:12 pm
and islam, judaism concerned about the spreading of that to the stranger, the vulnerable and the immigrant even and of course, christianity concerned about love and islam concerned about mercy across the board. i want to disagree with you, my dear sister laura as well as my dear brother, i stand with deep moral and political solidarity with my four sisters not because i agree with every word but looking at the world through the lens of the poor and looking through the lens of working people. and what you actually have with the president is not so much a credit -- question of racism. that is not the issue. the issue is keep focusing on the most vulnerable and the most defensible because you have three representatives that are committed to the privacy of the moral and spiritual. it's not just a political. this is not just not just
7:13 pm
partisanship. this is not battle socialism and communism and so forth. no, this is about human beings made in the image of god in the likeness of god. are we concerned about dignity and sanctity, mexican,, muslims, blacks, white, red, that is the legacy of jerusalem that you represent on your show tonight. that is why i stand in solidarity with my sisters. >> laura: i think number one, you are on to show, dr. west because you represent, i mean you have interesting worldviews and we don't agree on probably a lot, but i actually think he really actually care about people. you want people to live better lives, but her piece. i think prosperity if we have more prosperity coming he would be for that. sister, i tell you this if marianne trump, 1930s poverty written in scotland were told,
7:14 pm
go back to scotland, i would stand in solidarity with her. >> laura: i have no doubt, i have no doubt. >> it is a spiritual issue. >> laura: there is a lot of morality questions, protecting the unborn, protecting so forth, but there was one interesting comment that we played in the angle by ayanna pressley the congressman from massachusetts about the way certain people of color and she mentioned muslims, basically mustang. she said if you don't think like a muslim, you basically are not welcome here which is ironic given the fact they were saying trump telling people get out. >> well, that is hypocrisy. it is mind-boggling. "the squad" wants to talk about racism, wealth, racism is calling the president of the country elected abusive names come abusing him and insulting him and his family. then when he retaliates, this falls back on the victim ideology that plays identity
7:15 pm
politics, the gender part, any card. but what they are actually promoting and this is where i disagree with my brother, they were promoting an agenda of islamism. which is a threat to the world. and when the president retaliates, not with abuse, he didn't abuse them he did not choose harsh words like they have against him, they then use this victim ideology to talk about their own agenda. and i always said, something simple, something have also said to people, you don't like the country, then you leave. it's a one way ticket to wherever they want to go. and, he would have said the same thing had it been a white woman may be from swedish. he is talking about the protection of his country, the security of his country. he is the president of the united states of america. >> laura: they won't even call him president. >> they are so disrespectful. that is racism. but because he is a white man,
7:16 pm
somehow -- >> laura: can you be a racist and not be a white person in today's -- >> this is what today, the political correctness, why not, citizenship should apply to everyone and it doesn't. >> and use that as an advantage. >> laura: before congressman ilhan omar, just let me get this in and you can make that point but i want to point this out. before congressman omar condemned trump, she did a interview which a lot of folks, widely held view, it itself has a long history of anti-semitism. just weeks ago, al jazeera a social media feed questioning the holocaust and asking if that horrific event was exaggerated to benefit israel. so dr. west, how are we to take her outrage seriously when she runs to al jazeera to joke about, i guess, how she can't joke about anything because she
7:17 pm
is muslim. >> well, one she doesn't deny the holocaust. she know it is a crime against humanity but she also knows as vicious as israeli occupation that is subordinate precious palestinians is also a crime against humanity. there is a lot of crime against humanity. you have cashmere, tibet, you have the whole host of occupations in the world across the war. >> being consistent. i stand with her. i stand with her. >> laura: one at a time. >> this is the point of the president. we have omar who talked about some mullions on glowing terms in this country the united of -- united states provided asylum and since she has come is all she has done is demonize it, criticize it -- >> no, she has not demonized it. she has not criticized it. she is trying to it better.
7:18 pm
it is not demonization. >> she is trying to make it better, my brother. >> laura: but cornell -- >> don't give me the vulnerable. she has a political operative, communism and may be a little bit of sharia too. >> no, no, that is a lie. you know that's not true. that is not true. she is not a communist, she is a muslim, she is a muslim, not a communist. i'm a christian, i'm not a communist, i'm a christian. >> don't worry. >> any of the prophets or the great leaders, she would not be promoting such blatant anti-semitism and hate, not only in israel but against the jewish people. let me tell you the danger of this, far more than what they call racist. the danger of this is that she is allowing hate to be created
7:19 pm
among young people and that leads to radicalization and that leads to violence. i'm here in washington for this, to show a film about how hate promotes radicalization. it's called kids chasing paradise and i want to prevent violence extremism. what "the squad" is doing is nonviolent extremism. >> we want love. we want love. we want love. for the palestinians. love for, love for black people. love across the board. >> laura: i think you can love all people but also admit when ideology leads to more violence and more despair. we all want less of the outcome i think. and i valued this panel. thank you all for your voices tonight. former speaker newt gingrich listening to all of this and he is here to respond. and why antifa is celebrating on what would be terrorist. we will explain that in minutes
7:20 pm
7:21 pm
7:22 pm
>> that's what they say about our country. it is my opinion they hate our country, and that is not good. that is not acceptable. >> there is no place anywhere for the president's words which are not only divisive but
7:23 pm
dangerous and have legitimize and increase fear and hatred of new americans and people of color. >> laura: tromped continued sparring with democrats over critiques of the flawed. most are spending this as a loss for tromped, but that is not how my next guest sees it. former house speaker newt gingrich, fox news contributor of the podcast world, he joins me now. all right, mr. speaker, what does trump have to do next? two win you know, the long term war battle here with the far left? >> it is pretty simple. he has to stick to his ground. he has to emphasize the patriotism is not racism. he has to bring up the specific examples of things that people say, things that people do,
7:24 pm
democratic party which could not condemn anti-semitism totally collapsed under the pressure from congressman omar and others. the democratic party which tolerates antifa involved with violent crimes on the west coast as a anti-moderate, anti-middle-class left wing group. a democratic party which tolerates, for example, we have said a thousand people storm a nice facility in colorado, tear down the american flag. we painted, spray-painted and abolish eyes. put the flag upside down as an insult, played the mexican flag and the democratic governor couldn't even condemn them. hhe said, well, people have thee problems. so let's be clear. what you have on the left is an increasingly anti-american, increasingly open borders, increasingly pro illegal immigration movement, and the
7:25 pm
president has to stick to his ground. he thinks these people are dangerous. he thinks what they represent is harmful. any things as president of the united states he has a job to defend america culturally as well as militarily and diplomatically. >> laura: we had a promo running tonight. rashida tlaib to be on cbs this morning, tomorrow. she wants everybody to know that she is being bullied, watch. >> i'm dealing with the biggest bully i've ever had to deal with in my lifetime and trying to push back on that. trying to do the job we have been sent here to do centered around the people at home. this is a distraction. normalization of this, the fact that it is choosing him over the country. >> laura: now, like rolling stone for summer, they are touring. i didn't know all four of them were on. but they do have this odd thing going now, this dynamic.
7:26 pm
they are the strong future, but they fall back on the damsels in distress, we are the victim. that is a curious situation. they are elected members of congress, for goodness sake. >> no, i don't think it is that at all. they are totally manipulative, totally destructive people who are opposed to all core american values. people who routinely talk down to the states. people who are in favor of illegal immigration over law enforcement. you know, we just saw two nights ago senator warren say that when she's president, she is going to put in jail the people who are defending the borders. her position is, if you are enforcing the law, you can go to jail, but she will have amnesty for the people breaking the law. so let's make it clearer. these people have no obligation to be honest. they have no obligation to do anything but be manipulative. this is straight out of the
7:27 pm
textbook for radicals in the united states. so there is nothing here, and be proud of them. this is radicals and radicals alike. we have to be honest about who they are. >> laura: and newt greene and rich, what they would do if the democratic party is captive to y certainly appear to be now, imagine if a democrat did win in 2020 heaven forbid, you don't think aoc plus three plus god knows how many more would say, know that doesn't work for us at epa. that doesn't work for us for supreme court nominee. you're not going to do that no, no, they will have veto power over everything. and they believe that america at her core is a racist, evil place. that is what they believe. it was founded on racism and it continues to be racist. that is at the core of their views. from everything that i have seen. >> look, it is not just them. if you watch -- i was involved
7:28 pm
in 1983 and tip o'neill, a speaker with a fight on the house floor. nancy pelosi i think today lied in saying that she cleared what she would say with a parliamentarian because when she said at the parliamentarian said it was out-of-bounds and she wasn't allowed to say it. that she then left the floor which is another violation of house rules. when she was overruled by the parliamentarian, they used their majority to change the rules. what you saw today was exactly what you are going to get if they are in charge. there are no rules except what they want. there is no truth except what they want to say. you know, last week biden was supposed to be a racist because of his buzzing position. apparently pelosi is supposed to be a racist because she was opposing but now trump is a racist. the left reverts to racist when they can't defend anything. and i think the big campaign next year is going to be between
7:29 pm
patriotism as illustrated by president trump's willingness to defend the american values, the american border, at the american rule of law, and this routine automatic screaming racist by people who clearly are dishonestly using it because it's the only club they've got. >> laura: they want to immunize themselves from any criticism because you cannot criticize them because if you do, and i take them actually seriously. i take them at their word. i do. i think they have plans they want to carry out their plans for the entire country. i guess we will see how that works out. but i think we see how it works in venezuela. we see how it worked in europe when they gave up their sovereignty. the debate in germany, gdp outlook look terrible. the rise to the populace in europe because it doesn't work. but they don't care. i mean, in the end, mr. speaker, do you think that they care about the democrat party as long as they are are raised?
7:30 pm
>> no, i think what they care about his power. i think they are fascist. i think they want to use the power of the state to change the rest of us. i think they want the rest of us to shut up while they same thing they want to. and when we stand up to them, they frankly kind of go crazy. and i think that is exactly historic pattern when you are dealing with fascist movement. >> laura: mr. speaker, thank you so much. great to have you want tonight. ahead by antifa with a new reference can be just the beginning. we tell you how some leftist agitators mean to shut down ice facilities by any means necessary.
7:31 pm
7:32 pm
7:33 pm
>> the rhetoric from local leaders are actually the violence, attacking men and women of ice come ice, cdp, interest, unfair and sometimes, they are lying to the american people. and it is undoubtedly fueling them. >> laura: when antifa planned an attack on nice facility with explosives, that was thwarted? his comrades became more emboldened and antifa said the attacker to the precivil war radical john brown who is of course 1859 race on harpers ferry. sang today we stand strong in support for yet another monitor and the struggle against fascism. may his death serve as a call to
7:34 pm
protest and direct action. well, john king also with john brown and a deleted tweet he called the attacker manifesto "beautiful, devastating. and king added "he was not crazy in action list." these are the open border activist running the streets, going wild on social media and activating their own selves across the united states. here with reaction dan patrick lieutenant governor of texas along with tim beller former dhs special agent, tim q take particular offense to john brown comparison. why is that? i do slavery is alive and well but not independent -- defendant -- detention facilities like antifa explains. it happens to children being smuggled by traffickers in the country and they end up in these facilities and frankly if you want to make an analogy, these are safe houses. this is the place the last place
7:35 pm
of freedom these kids are released to the sponsors. we know this is happening and sex trafficking in the country. we are the top destination countries for track and the world. these places cpt and law enforcement people to fit them up all the children for people who want their children by the way but used as pawns in a trafficking scheme. so the irony is unbelievable. >> laura: we were in del rio at the end of april, early may, and a bunch of us were there from the show. we notice amongst the folks that were there, the migrants they are, there were novel -- number who looked uncomfortable together. >> absolutely. >> laura: what are we going to do but raiment that roll does not look like she belongs with that man. she looked scared to be with him coming out of where she was. >> we are down they are helping them to come out. the smugglers give them a number to call. this is your sponsor, call when you get there. they have no idea who they are calling and they are lost. >> laura: we are delivering
7:36 pm
them. >> we are completing trafficking events. >> laura: the holding areas, at least they will not be traffic inside of that facility as uncomfortable sometimes that it is. dan, the fraud squad, but responded when asked about antifa attack, watch. >> will you condemn antifa? will you condemn terrorism? do you condemn antifa? you are not respecting my physical space right now and i will ask you to step away. >> laura: physical space, we are getting serious now. why can't the other democrats just condemn violence, anarchy, demonization, law enforcement, the glorification of lawbreakers? why is that so hard? >> laura, the truth is they all agree. they just agree. or they have no backbone to stand up to this danger. look, antifa is the military arm
7:37 pm
of the aoc squad. and this is a potent, danger makes for america. what i'm going to ask the president and i know he watches many nights. i hope he's watching now. i will ask the president executive order to unmask antifa. if you want to stop this violent dangerous movement, you have to unmask them. they will be cowards when faces are shown. and there is precedence for th this, a test of a clear and present danger in the in the case of shank versus the united states, the other eight supreme court justices said that the first amendment does not apply for freedom of speech and freedom of assembly if you present a clear and present danger. they present a clear and present danger. and new york law today and unmasking in new york put on the books in 1945. the supreme court has upheld the same law in georgia. >> laura: like the border. we are not enforcing the border either and not doing what we need to do.
7:38 pm
>> we need to unmask these people to take their arm away from "the squad." sensibly you see what is happening when they raised a mexican flag and tear down an american flag. >> laura: that's not anti-american? >> when they attack and ice center, laura has they did again today, nine people and other protest group. this is growing, and if it's not stopped right away -- >> laura: since the 60s. >> laura: temp we had another protest today, and a schoolteacher came from massachusetts and she showed up and again they had similar signs as if a concentration camp. not too many people come i don't know how many, couple, three, four, dozen but the same thing. it was concentration camps. and it was jews against dies. so very curious things with the sign in language. if you think a concentration
7:39 pm
camp in the united states, you will do anything in that right? >> they are fueling a prior fighting, they are fighting the wrong -- slavery is happening and they are totally ignoring that. they are not even addressing that, right? they are hurting the one solution that some of these kids have come help me, find me. they want to take that down and abolish. abolish what? the last hope that these kids have before they end up in the hands of american? >> laura: guys, thank you so much, unbelievably shocking. by the way, tonight aoc did tell "the daily caller" plainly that she did condemn the antifa attack. so maybe that is progress or maybe she was shamed into doing it but she did say that tonight. we want to make sure you know that. in moments they shocking report about the newest health risk on inundating california. with all that usaa offers why go with anybody else?

>> laura: california has become a socialist rathole, literally. a new report by the group reform california details how the ones golden state rose and population is exploding along with a number of homeless. but the report refutes claims that global warming is causing the spike in rodents and warns rat pack risk spreading disease or straight out of the dark ages like the plague. joining me now is the man trying to solve this crisis. former san diego councilman,
7:43 pm
reform california chairman carl demaio, carl is anyone still in elected office trying to help or are you all alone? this is crazy. >> you know, laura, i never thought we would actually have to do a study of how many rats where they are in california and with of the population was increasing and by how much was it increasing. that is exactly the study we had to release today. a team of pest control specialists, vector control officials from local government and two public health experts all came out. it is a dire warning. there's been a doubling, at least a doubling in the rat population in california in key urban areas in the last 12 months. that rate of increase is getting worse. and then on top of that, you see the outbreak of diseases that we haven't seen in generations. the plague has certainly been talked about amongst public health officials, but we now
7:44 pm
have a double count on that type cases in l.a. county. and two police officers recently were taken off of duty because they contracted typhus. >> >> laura: why is this happening? >> absolute negligence. first and foremost it's not an environmental factor and not warmer weather or more rain but the fact we have an explosion and or homeless population. the homeless are serving as an easy source of food for the rat population. when you can get an animal group can get food easy, they are able to reproduce record. the female rats, 18-26 days. let me repeat 18-26 days to give a litter of rats. and you could have leaders on an average size of six. so this is a doubling of the rat population. we are actually projecting that piece to pick up. the homeless are out there providing an easy source of
7:45 pm
food. at the same time that there is more food, we are not eradicating routes. they are not trapping them. we are not killing them. the environmentalists say let's not kill them but let's do "green alternatives that are more humane to animals." in other words, let them die of old age. that is in essence they are pl plan. and an explosion. >> laura: a shock high regulations of small and medium-sized businesses that get lectured morning, noon and night by leftist and environmentalist with the rat population. this is like a dream come true, god of my love california but that is crazy. karl, thank you for that report. insanity. peaking of society and social mass media routing era kids, you bet a tragic story of upstate new york. 17-year-old instagram star allegedly murdered by obsessed male follower who posed in photos of the brutal killing on his account.
7:46 pm
authorities believe he was orbiting her meaning he stalked his victims over social media in hopes of having sex with her. how do something like this happen and social media fueling this insanity and evil. here to analyze dr. drew pinsky, addiction medication specialist, dr. drew, you compare social media to another health academic so what is it? >> tobacco. one day we will look at the screens as it pertains to young people the way we look at tobacco today. categorically no doubt a negative effect of young people in these sorts of behaviors that are amplifying these pathological -- what shall we say -- pathology and personal ways is becoming more and more dramatic. i've seen at the last ten years and it's getting worse and worse and worse. you mention orbiting behavior something i haven't seen the last ten years is because they
7:47 pm
are so devoted to their screens, they are texting and their social media. if they don't eat develop usual milestones associated with forming relationships, dating at that sort of thing. we have stalking behaviors once they do form a bond with somebody. they don't know how to navigate and negotiate it and they start stalking that person. >> laura: dr. drew, and dopamine released in the brain, is it not that place in the brain and that makes you feel good for the moment when you get that like or you get another follower. >> it makes you feel good but more importantly triggers the part of the brain that says do that again. that is one thing's liking, and to do it again, different systems but from the ventral macular area, the bundle where we get the addictive pathology and other behaviors, their experiences in life are definitely reinforced with that same system. the guys that create social media are building
7:48 pm
