off for us in our area. stay tuned, much more on the weather coming up. you are watching "fox and friends first" on tuesday morning, thank you for starting your day with us. let's get to a fox news alert and an update. the mystery deepening in the murder of a north carolina woman and her boyfriend in canada. police in british columbia say this man was seen in a heated exchange before they were killed and the surveillance video shows a couple hugging at a gas station just the night before. 2 days after their murder two teenagers were reported missing nearby. a man after body later found near their abandons burning car. police working to determine if all those cases are linked. how play is suspected in the death of one or miss college students, nbc affiliate reports alley was shot eight times. police have not confirmed the report so far.

laughing, really ridiculous. there are two videos going viral online showing police officers getting hit with water. the one you just saw took place in brooklyn but a separate video going viral online shows a police officer in harlem as he is making an arrest getting hit with water and then someone throws a red plastic bucket at his head. some of the comments -- it is assault. >> you can get arrested for doing this. in the video we saw the police officers just walked away. some people are saying it is funny and they are laughing at this, many others are taking it very seriously including the president of the police benevolent association who set our anti-can't lawmakers have gotten their wish, the nypd is
