tried to remind his democrats that most democrats don't support open borders. ryan suddenly became the most unpopular kid at the party. watch. >> now, in this discussion, we talked about taking private health insurance away from union members in the industrial midwest. we talked about decriminalizing the border. and we talked. i quite frankly, don't think that that is an agenda that we can move forward on and win. we've got to talk about the working class issues. the people who take a shower after work who haven't had a raise in 30 years. if we focus on that, we will win the election. >> your response, sir? >> not a lot of applause. in fact, dead silence. it turns the democrats in the room didn't want to talk about working class issues or people, as tim ryan put it, who take a shower after work.

progressives wrote those waters off as disgusting a long time ago. at the same time, they are deeply privileged. that goes without saying, they could be racist. every one of them. they have been excluded from the emerging al sharpton private equity coalition that defines the democratic party. as elizabeth warren and bernie sanders. the very idea that you have to win popular support for your policies seem to enrage them. warren, especially. at one point, they accused a cnn person as being a secret republican. first time that has ever happened. >> do not support medicare for

all. >> your question is a republican talking point. >> what you want to do instead is find republican talking points of a made up piece of some other part and say oh, we don't really have to do anythin anything. stop using republican talking points in order to talk with each other about health care. see one that really was the story of the whole night. elizabeth worn jumping up and down and barking at anyone who asks too many questions. not everything elizabeth says is wrong. we actually like her views about manufacturing and trade for example. holy smokes, is warren unbearable in a lot of ways. nasty as. watch how she treated john

delaney, who is one of the nicest men in politics. >> i think democrats win the one we run on real solutions, not impossible promises. when we run on things that are possible, not fairy tale economics. >> i don't know why anybody goes through all the trouble of running for the president of united states just to talk about what we shouldn't do and what we can't fight for. >> tucker: so, if you are not are read in the face dishonest demigod, like warren thinks you are. she twisted his pointed to something completely unrecognizable. >> you a sain immigration systm needs a sain leader.

if laws mattered, we wanted to have sanctuary cities. if laws mattered, democrats when it be sharing language guides telling illegals how to evade elizabeth warren, claiming the mantle of the law was the most incredible. there was nobody there to call on it. the moderates had all been gilded and silenced. she joins us tonight. yeah, thanks a lot for coming o on. you watched this and probably have the same reaction. it really seemed like orthodoxy and enforcement. they wanted to make sure that nobody else in the party could get to the moderate end of their position. do you think they seceded a question right >> i think that the hopeless plight of the so-called moderates was really shown last night. because the gravity of the party has shifted so far left. several of the people on stage

last night, amy clover char, you mentioned delaney, tim ryan but now, it has shifted so far to the left, that we are calling the moderates, conservative democrats. that's not how they describe themselves. but because warren and sanders decided to appease their alliance for now. that won't always last. we can talk about that in the moment. they decided to link arms. it was like red rover, red rover, sent delaney right over. what was interesting to me is i felt like even barack obama would have had a hard time in that crowd. when he would have been in a group that was trying to be intellectually honest, but it was a political loser for the moderates last night. >> tucker: do they know

something that we don't? based on the polling data that you are looking at, can you win a general election on the idea that we should decriminalize the border? and that we should give free health care to everyone who comes here? can you win the election on that? >> well, don't take that from me. tom friedman at "the new york times" ." claire mccaskill, former senator of missouri. all three of them. they have been sounding the alarm bells saying, wow democrats, tap the brakes. the revolution is not going to happen in 2020. they are desperately trying to get them to realize that if you actually want to win a general election, in your fantasy, the electoral college doesn't exist.

in reality, the electoral college exists, and it probably will for our lifetime, tucker. watch the democrats. they are going to start talking about structural changes so that they can win. we cannot win a general election against in a incumbent president who has a very good economy. they are begging them not to do this. now, tonight, joe biden is going to be have to be the one that figures the way forward for the moderates. i don't know if he can do it. >> tucker: at this point, can we call joe biden a moderate? i mean, he's temperamentally immoderate in that he's friendly. >> he's not for medicare for all. you will see a real strong contrast when they start to talk

about health care. he sain, look, obamacare is gre. one of the things that she tweeted is single-payer is actually medicare for all. a lot of conservatives say, yes. thank you. that's what we have been trying to explain to all along. i don't know if biden will be able to thread the needle. biden doesn't seem like he's got it all they are he really faltered in the debate and isn't doing that well. but democrats seem to like him. let's see how he does this week. but right now, i think a really interesting debate would be bernie sanders and warren up with biden. there's not many moderates left. >> tucker: dana, who will be watching tonight's debate so that you don't have to at home. >> i'll be here.

she's got an academic mind. it's not surprising she's been able to discover countless new forms of racism permeating american life. terms of never heard of before. she listed them during the debate. >> we need to call out white supremacy for what it is. domestic terrorism. we live in a country now where the president is advancing environmental racism, economic racism, criminal justice racism, health care racism. >> tucker: well, she's a lot of fun. the question is, what is she talking about customer what is health care racism for example. what is environmental racism. i'm trying to be open-minded, but we are going to need some help figuring out what those ar are. thank you very much for coming on. >> good to be here again. so, you've been in and around politics in the civil rights

world for more than 50 years. what is health care racism? you have any idea customer >> as a veteran of the civil rights movement, i find her insulting, condescending, and patronizing. she acts as a barrier for the inspiration of real solutions for faces from baltimore and low income blacks. this is really harmful to any kind of discussion. as a veteran of the movement, i remember back in the 60s, i left that movement, because many of the blacks were sacrificed and suffered most did not benefit from the change. dr. king said, what good does it do to have the right to eat in a restaurant when you don't have the means to exercise it. the switch came when the money

arrived. that's why the biggest problem in black america today isn't between whites and blacks. it's internal. and elizabeth warren and people who continue to emphasize the external energy are preaching a false solution. black americans destiny has never been determined by what white people do or do not do. that's what we are left with. and so, i think that it deflects attention away from the real problems. and that is, the people who are supposed to be serving those communities. racism is not the most in formidable problem. the real problem is the kind of betrayal by the leaders of these cities in the last 50 years. the urban communities, where you have the highest crime, the most drug-infested, have been run by liberal black democrats for 50

years. we've spent $22 trillion in these places, and yet, the problems are getting worse. in 1914, they crammed over 4,000 blacks in. in the last 20 years, blacks have been driven out by gentrification. you don't see these leaders addressing economic issues like that, because they can avoid confronting those issues, because they use race as a shield. white people could all go to europe tomorrow, and the conditions of the inner city would not change. and not all blacks are suffering equally. there are three zip codes where the medium income is a hundred $70,000. they are three times richer than most whites. if racism was a pervasive

problem, then why are not all blacks suffering equally? i think it's time to stop this preoccupation with race and recalibrate and come together to address the problems of low income people of all races. >> tucker: you are a courageous man for saying that. you are a courageous man for saying that. most people can't say what you said and certainly can't say it as clearly and insightfully as you just did. thank you. >> they are traitors. they really are. they need to be called out for it. goldsmith, riordan. so, answers exist. we just need to pursue them. but we can't do it as long as we stay stuck on the race grievance issue. >> tucker: of course. it just divides people. but elizabeth warren benefits out of it. she got tenure out of it.

just spit falling off the top of your head. what do you think the constituency, the percentage of the american population is, that is forgiving free government paid for, taxpayer health care? home any or for that would you say? >> i would say it's in the single digits. she said, hey some of these sound like great ideas, but they will never pass congress. they just won't work. we need to be honest. i have all the respect for everyone who is up on that stage last night, but honestly, some of their proposal sounds to me like there were written for press releases rather than for policies. one of these people and probably one of the more radical ones, if i had to bet, would be elizabeth moran, kamala harris. they are going to be stuck with
