and the president ratchet up tariffs and they we wanted to negotiate again, we reached a deal in april and we put it in front of them and they walked away and we got back to negotiating on things like them buying more natural gas and more corn, that's absurd, the thing is much bigger than that, what they are trying to do is basically ride out the clock on donald trump because listen to what the party of weakness are saying, people like joe biden basically want to sell out the country to get the hands on the oval office. rob: that does make a lot of sense. >> basically joe biden has no principles whatsoever when it comes to foreign policy. rob: and i'm sure that's what their optimistically hoping for, let's take a look at the announcement from china, china is willing to resolve trade dispute with united states through calm negotiations, trade war not beneficial for china and the united states nor the people of the world, peter, the markets have flipped positive on the

news, again, china lies and they cheat. >> that's right, this is really simple, we put agreement in front of them, they sign it or they don't. the question is how do we enforce it. mr. lighthizer has provisions in the agreement which basically keep tariffs in place which is expensive for americans but they are necessary, what the president has failed to do is articulate the necessity of this, this is not about selling some more wheat. this is about securing america's future, leadership in the world, protecting america's technology and so forth so all the things that we work so hard to develop in america and the prosperity that we have continues for the next generation. rob: when you look at this it seems like the smartest thing we could do for the future of country is to take medicine in tough way and cut china off. is that even a possibility?

>> we need a plan b, if they don't sign a deal, i'm willing to make changes, but if they don't sign that essential deal, then we need to go to plan b and that is basically balance bilateral trade and that would push the supply chain into other places in asia, let's face it, does anybody honestly believe that we need china to get toys and coffee tables and to assemble cell phones that that can't be done some place else. no, no, china is essential on all of this. look at the politics. >> intertwine right now, pulling it apart. rob: let me go to another topic, let's talk about tax cuts for a second. the president says if he gets reelected in 2020, tax cuts, what about the deficit?

frankly, for the most part we are doing very well, china is a great country. i consider president xi a great leader and, look, they are losing millions and millions of jobs, they are going to other countries and if i were them i would want to make a deal but the united states is taking tremendous amounts of dollar, you know, billions and billions of dollars and frankly there's been no inflation and most of the products haven't gone up because china has been able to manipulate and the product can stay same price otherwise it wouldn't be competitive product, they lost a lot of jobs and they want to see a sensible solution, to those really good change, much better position than at any time during negotiation, something meaningful, i don't

think we could have gotten here without going through the process, maybe i'm wrong, stronger position to make a fairer deal for everybody and we are having meaningful talks. [inaudible] >> escalate the trade war with china? >> no, she would like to see it worked out. it's good for everybody if it works out, she's -- she's a brilliant woman and she understands exactly where everybody is, she knows before most people and she would like to see it worked out. >> come to a solution and we are very glad that an agreement between china and the united states. it's in our own best interest. >> mr. president, you will host g7 next year, who will be your surprise guest? >> i don't think there's anybody surprises, you have a very successful g7, probably be in miami, right next to the international airport, great location, one of the biggest airports, takes planes from everywhere, sometimes you have hours and hours of drive to go get to certain locations, you'll only have a 5-minute drive which is good and you'll end in miami international airport and so we think we will have a very successful one and we can learn from what took place here because i think they did a really good job, the way the rooms are set up and designed

and i think -- we got good ideas from this g7, there won't be any surprises. we will see. we had a talk, we had a talk about russia. my inclination is to say yes, some people disagree and some people don't. some that agree with me 100% and some that don't. i think it's advantageous that other people don't necessarily agree, at this time i think i could say at this time without being specific, but we will see what happens. [inaudible] >> it's close to -- right next to the airport, right there, few minutes away. it's a great place, it's got tremendous acreage, many hundreds of acres, so we can

handle whatever happens, plus it has buildings that have 50 -- each delegation can have their building, so a lot of -- they could have buildings for press, great conference facility, we are thinking about it. they love the location of the hotel and they also like the fact that it's right next to the airport for convenience. it's miami. it's a great area. we haven't planned anything close to competing, especially when you look at the location being right next to the airport, so many places so far away, the drive is so long, you know, they need helicopters, you need all sorts of things, this is something that you can do literally in amount of minutes if you land. i think they will appreciate

carley: president trump slamming the negative press summit of the g7 summit. painting it as a failure before it even started. why can't the president's critics cheer for his success instead. here is fellow independent women's forum beverly hubbard and bernie sanders senior advisor chuck rocha. thank you both for being on with us this morning. beverly, i want to start with you, is the president right in that the media has been unfairly critical of his performance at the g7 summit? >> i think in regard to some of the reporting, i think he is correct. he is mention in that meeting that he just had with german chancellor that have a lot of unity with the

ratings whether you love him or you don't like him at all. that's why people cover him nonstop. that's why the first time in american history we are covering a president's tweets. whether you love the president or whether you hate the president, whether you are abc or fox news, he is good for your ratings. people are going to cover that i didn't think people are being particularly hateful to him. they are covering something unprecedented. a lot of the stuff he does doesn't follow status quo. i disagree with the president on most everything he says and does. i don't think that means i want him him to be a failure that means i'm covering some of his failures. >> trump walks into a nightmare g7. will trump blow up the g7 summit. as trump heads to g7 summit, potential for dysfunctional family reunion. do those seem like fair headlines to you. >> i don't think they are fair. we saw this the last time the president went to france. that was for the 75th
