tv   The Ingraham Angle  FOX News  September 9, 2019 11:00pm-12:00am PDT

11:00 pm
before i get to laura ingraham let me read from mediaite.com. laura ingraham eats steak impaled with a light bulb and plastic straw to trigger liberals. can i ask you a question? listen. it's a friday, more fun show, i like it a lot. that's all i can say.6 christope hasted us. >> laura: you know, it's friday night at 10:58 p.m. we are doing a live show so you had a piece of steak, it'so a triggering event for the left.ab that trump talked about bringing back and plastic straws. so the only thing we should have they could have just drunk it.d >> sean: in my humble opinion your face, my face, luke's face
11:01 pm
trump's face, rush, all of our faces trigger them. we don't need a prop. they are triggered already. >> matt: my staff had so much fun doing it. they can't help it. it's every second minute and hour of thein day.it was funny,. >> good to see you. all right, i'm laura ingraham. ngis is "the ingraham angle" from washington tonight. on friday, other than the steak with the plastic straw and the light bulb sticking out of it, we exposed the absurd charge that quarterback drew brees somehow was spreading hate by recording a pro-bible message. basically a bring your bible to school day. tonight in a follow up, our own raymond arroyo spoke to fans outside of the saints game to get their reaction. you don't want to miss that. and then the president of the group that drew so muchconflict, jim daly,
11:02 pm
he is here to sound off. plus, former drew brees teammate delivers an impassioned defense tonight of drew brees and more on that in a moment. also tonight, a reporter discovered some curious links between hillary clinton's lybia henchmen and the steele dossier. well, he's here to blow the lid off of what could be an explosive story and then ken starr will be here to react and bernie sanders trotted out a new surrogate yesterday. i thought my eyes were decieving me. well, true feminists are here to reveal what's really going on. but, first, on the trail and off the rails. that's the focus of tonight's angle. well, today, i think kind of marked of the unofficial start to what will certainly be a wild and even vicious 2020 election cycle. tonight, the president hit the trail and is stumping for a
11:03 pm
republican named dan bishop inah district.ni every seat counts and the press is claiming this race is at bellwether.er except if bishop wins, then it won't matter at all but in the state that democrats want to flip, republicans are betting that trumps will make the difference by the choice tonight seems breaking the clear. >> look at what's happening to democrat run cities. every single one of them. we go in to lift millions more of our citizens from welfare to work, dependence to independence, and poverty to prosperity. with your help, we will elect more republicans, we will enact trade deals that result in more products proudly stamped with the four beautiful words, made in the usa.
11:04 pm
>> laura: the energy in the room was absolutely electric. >> america is winning again, and america isag a respected again they respect america. [chanting] >> usa! usa! >> more americans are working today than ever before in the history of our country. almost 160 million americans. nobody would've thought that was possible. the unemployment rates for african-americans just reached another brand-new, yesterday,ot all-time low in the history of oure country. [chanting] four more years! four more years! four more years! >> laura: well, back in washington, nancy pelosi and the gang are back in session with their own kind of sad energy.
11:05 pm
and the power source is rather dubious. well, it starts with an eye and it ends with a t. you get it. impeachment. >> cnn has learned that the house judiciary committee is preparing to take a vote in just a matter of days which could open the way to impeaching president donald trump or the vote is expected to take place as soon as wednesday and will lay out the ground rules for conducting impeachment hearings. >> laura: this is unbelievable!is record peace and prosperity and their answer is impeach the guy. these people are just jokers. forget passing the usmca, that was the trade deal that trumps stellar team successfully negotiated with mexico and canada. almost tenca months ago now. by the way, it's a deal that will help all three countries especially the u.s. and mexico. but at last count, 137 democrats want to begin impeachment proceeding against the president and that's despite poll after poll showing that
11:06 pm
the majority of americans including many democrats do not want to see trump impeached. monmouth is reporting that 59% of americans said trump shouldn't 5 be impeached. a number that's remained largely unchanged since mid-2017. try, try again. well, voters correctly understand that impeaching trump will be of bitter divisive fight, that's only going to further and damage and divide the country. but the democrats who never accepted trumps election as legitimate in the first place they just don't care. >> i'm not too much interested in the polls is what's actually going on in administration. >> i don't get to the mistake for them to take this to the next step. i do think the step they are taking is the appropriate step. >> the evidence of wrongdoing was so staggering that we had to -- so i decided we had to support --
11:07 pm
>> laura: what wrongdoing? my daily wrongdoing happen when deep state launched a bogus investigation by surveilling innocent americans based on a phony wooden finance dossier. by the way, they still found no russia collusion. that was the wrongdoing. i thought about this this weekend. 30 plus million dollars and two years of the nation's political life wrapped up into that? but, besides impeachment, the democrats are using tragedy to win away your second amendment rights. that's on the agenda. as we demonstrated last week, expect that the 2020 candidates will be pushing gun buybacks today, and they will call for all out gun bans tomorrow. in the meantime, they will turna what is largely a drug and mental health crisis into a push for whatever gun-control measures they can ram through. >> gun violence is literally life-and-death. >> it's become so numbingly common. >> it's deep, it's serious, and
11:08 pm
it's wrong what's going on. >> we are going to slam them and we are going to fight and push and push and push with every fiber in our being. >> well, while many americans want background checks and maybe some red flag laws, as well, according to a new abc washington news p post poll, moe respondents said that her mental health treatment would be more effective than gun-control at reducing violence. fact. today's democrats want fewer law-abiding americans to own guns. at the same time that they want moree lawbreaking illegal immigrants to enter the country to become u.s. citizens. wrap your mind around that for a second. they claim they want gun-control to keep us safe but then they embrace sanctuary policies that allow illegal alien criminals to live here. and of course, suck off out
11:09 pm
public service, as well. and in the case of that recent horrific report of marilyn's allegedly murdered a 21-year-old man. all of them illegal. well, because of president trump's leadership thankfully, things are beginning to improve along the border. the number of illegals are is down for 56% since may. you don't see that much though f do you in the mainstream networks? the democrats, they want to undo all of that progress and treat border crossings like jaywalking so it will be like, okay, hi, here's your ticket, and go on your way and have a nice day sir. report for your hearing later on.. well,ca more americans i think will learn in the coming months how the democrats plan a massive power grab that will ultimately fund their socialist fantasies. like the green new raw deal. that will rob you and disempower you and empower a giant new job killing federal bureaucracy. on immigration, on trade and
11:10 pm
on the economy, trump has demonstrated results time after time after time despite a democrat congress blocking him at every turn at a bunch of renegade judges, as well. the new democrats, though, they really have become a complete ongoing "saturday night live" skit of themselves. if "snl" actually really covered it accurately. they are seething, they are angry, and their activists are fueled by a deep hatred of some of our most cherished traditions. even our history. so the better you do and the happier you are, the more money you have in your pocket to spend, the more freedom you have to just live the life you want to live. the unhappier they seem to get. they are miserable. now. remember, they want to drive the car and choose your destination for you. don't let them. not unless you want america to end up like this.
11:11 pm
>> laura: and that's the angle. all right, my next guest is taking a lot of heat for making: this bold prediction. >> the trumps will be a dynasty that will last for decades propelling the republican party into a newew party. >> laura: brad parscale, who is the trump campaign manager, the youngest i think ever to manage a national campaign, you are getting a lot of backlash for that statement. even lou dobbs from fox business my friends hit you saying this m may be one of the dumbest things i campaign manager ever said. joining me now exclusively brad parscale. brad, you said that out there in california. it was a big fund-raiser and i get what dobbs is a saying. this is a movement about america. it's not about the name trump.
11:12 pm
he led it and he is bold to do it but it's going to go on beyond him. i think that's what dobbs was bristling at. what is your response. >> let me explain. this is a family juggernaut in business and now they are a juggernaut in politics and what i wanted to show is that i watched how hard this family worked in 2016 and how hard they are working now and i will want the people of california to know that no. this family is going to be with them for the future and i just wanted people to see that and i truly believe that. >> laura: do you mean be president for years to come? >> no. i just mean helping them fund raise, having the policies of the president continued, continuing to fight for this grassroots movement. this movement is huge and the president has taken it so far and i think everybody in california wants to know if this is going to be continued. >> laura: so you would concede
11:13 pm
that word dynasty -- if you had to say it again would you say dynasty? i say things all the time and i'm like i shouldn't of saw said that. >> i mean this is different. if you're playing the spurs on the lakers you want to dynasty but i guess here you don't but -- >> laura: the dynasty is a philosophy really. populace, economics nationalist. >> right. it's for them to understand that this family -- i was trying to explain how hard they are fighting for. what the president has to go through.right before that i expd lat he has given up in his personal life, how hard he fights every day, the energy he gives. i was trying to make them feel -- they are all out there by themselves in california and i want them to understand that he's going to fight for them.yoe to talk about today, the three or four districts that are going to fight out there. how are these people are fighting out there. what's already occurring in the president is going to be on the ticket in 2020 and what the opportunity is and i told the them the sky's the limit. >> laura: i mean that it is actually crazy. it triggers all the people on
11:14 pm
the left. >> the media that freaked out when they heard that they are hafted dealing with this for possibly the rest of this lives and the real thing is, one of them to understand that this is not just a one election or to election thing. this is a movement that is going to continue well past into the future. >> laura: i want to move on to some other topics. first, i want to get yourthought on cnbc that warren and hillary clinton are talking behind the scenes as the 2020 race intensifies. a lot of people think she is going to be the nominee. biden is ultimately going to fade away. >> i do think warren is on the rise. >> so warren is on the rise. let's say she gets the nomination of your looks like hillary is giving some advice. >> i think this is funny. i hope. she gives them all kinds of adviceand runs the whole cam. >> let's talk about what else is happening is the democrats plan to flip a number of states. everyone wants to flip states ou win. i want to play something
11:15 pm
that was said recently about this. watch. >> how many do you think you could reasonably flip? w >> six. [laughter] and you know what, we are coming at you, texas. we dubbed the word texodus and i think it's genius. i love it. they've got an issue on their hands. >> laura: i have friends in texas who are not thinking it's going to be a cakewalk.if it isn texas, what does that say about the rest of the country. >> i think those elections that are always tough.i think there r registrations i'm hearing about in texas, i can it is great. i still think texas is clearly in the win column for the president. i think there's a couple of seats that have kind of conduct. i don't think texas is in play in 2020. i think from the left, this is something they want to hear. i think this helps them fund raise.some other thick us pleaed earlier today, you know, the i-word it helps them fund raise. they want that because right now all they have his hatred for my boss. they have nothing else to run on so they are trying to say hey there's something occurring. >> laura: what candidate concerns you the most? >> we can prepare for all the
11:16 pm
candidates.. it's not like i designate one. right now the game plan is to build out a large operation across the country and i think that we are showing that. we're going to have 2 million trained volunteers. that's multiples of what we had in 2016. there are states where last time our budget was $30,000 and the stomach of the 20 or or 30 or t. >> what states? >> i don't want to get into that because i don't want the democrats to the know what states we're going with. we are expanding that math. minnesota is in play, new hampshire, nevada new mexico. >> laura: what about new mexico? new mexico, i'm hearing from a lot of people that the illegal immigration issue there, among latinos, is incredibly motivating because they don't want it. >> and they are fighting against china and what's going on there. they love that issue. they know that the president is fighting for them and their jobs and their economic futures. as well as that, they actually see what happens with illegal immigration in their states and i think the president is going to win there and in every poll and everything i've done, we continue tos climb in that sta. the president is going to be out
11:17 pm
there next i week in albuquerque and he's going to give thatmess. >> women voters, everyone saying you've got a get suburban women back. can you get suburban women that? >> yes. still, i said as all the time women and mothers in this country do not want their children in bread lines needing medical care. it's really easy right now when it's 20 out there and they just say oh, yeah, this thing. while naturally they have to make that choice andey i think it's going to be clear they see the president's policies and how they are winning for the lowest unemployment we've ever had. >> laura: brad, thanks so much.you are on the hot button s like i am, everything you say, that's how it is now. drew brees come under fire for promoting the bible for the christian group group focus on the family.ia we y exposed on friday. and tonight we bring you a can't-miss follow up. arroyo is also outside the saints game and he has the fans reaction up next.
11:18 pm
11:19 pm
by the strolle♪s [ growl ] good boy. hey. hey. you must be steven's phone.
11:20 pm
know who's on your network and control who shouldn't be with xfinity xfi. simple. easy. awesome. >> one of my favorite versus in the bible, 2nd corinthians.
11:21 pm
share your faith, you're not alone. >> laura: can you believe that those words sparked vicious attacks against drew brees? well, neither could the saints osfans who spoke to our own raymond arroyo before tonight's game. >> laura, we are at the louisiana superdome for this first regular-season game of the saints and we wanted to ask fans what their reaction was to this so called bible controversy involving their favorite quarterback. here's what they had to say. >> it may have been a preacher. i'm behind drew brees 100% because when they took him out prayer out of school and stuff like that, i think that changery the whole narrative about everything. >> they took prayer out of the school so ain't nothing wrong with bringing him back. >> do you see the media is trying to suppress drew brees' religious expression? >> yes i do.the media is tryingg
11:22 pm
hate, not drew brees. either you love it or you don'tf you don't. >> we need more prayer and less shooting in our schools. and congratulations to drew for spreading some love. >> if you asked about the bible i don't have a problem with that. if they are muslim, bring a quran. if they are jewish, bring a jewish library. >> i think it's open season on christians. it just needs to end.n we love drew, he is our guy e ag your bible to school. kids, do it. >> we support drew. >> even the texans support drew, bring european. -- bring your bible. >> laura: all right, joining me now, jim daly, president of focus on the family. it jim, one of the main reasons drew was getting mixed backlashes because your group is being labeled anti-lgbtq. is this criticism of your
11:23 pm
organization warranted? >> no, and i love what drew brees said right at the beginning ofhe this controversy which is that christians, we have two commandments. love the lord your god with your heart soul and mind and love your neighbor as yourself and we believe in thatt too. we are not anti-anybody. we do hold to traditional definition of marriage which is one man and one woman, and for that, we paid a price and now drew brees is paying the price. >> were you surprised at this instant online -- and it was created by a publication no one had ever heard of that is run by a transplant to new orleans. so it was recorded by an online publication that has disgusting articles in it about stuff that we can even say on television and then i got picked up by all of these major media outlets.
11:24 pm
again, used to try to i think intimidate other players or anyone in public life from ever doing anything with a christian organization that has its own views about a lot of different issues. but that's what the goal was was it not? >> i believe so, and it's the muzzling effect, the intimidation effect. and it's unfortunate because we live in a pluralistic society. we've got to learn how to live together, even with disagreements and what's so difficult in this country right nowan is that we can't subscribe or hold to a viewpoint that is different from the cultural elites. and, i'll tell you what, that's going to be very dangerous. i came down here tonight to support drew brees so i'm at the stadium watching the game and it's been great but we need to support one another through free speech, the freedom of religion, and that's why we do bring your bible to school so that kids can exercise that same freedom. >> laura: it was interesting at the saints game before the
11:25 pm
game started, raymond went out and interviewed a lot of people. that was a representative sampling of the people who were willing to chat for a minute before they were going into the superdome, and there is this overwhelming love for brees and it was because they know him and, you know, he's not into politics but he's a christian and they loved him and that came through in those interviews so it wasn't about hating anyone or hitting any group of people because that is not a christian thing to do, hate people for who they are. >> absolutely right. and drew brees embodies that so well. he has done so much for the community here in new orleans. people love him because he puts his faith into action. he's a great husband, a great father, and a great citizen here in new orleans and i think all
11:26 pm
of that together is what people care about and what's so unfortunate as there are people in the culture who want to break people down who believe in god and that's obvious. in fact, there was a survey i read just the other day that says that 40% of adults are afraid to talk about their political convictions and 75% of college students. >> laura: we have to go but you just missed a hell of an ending of the game. the games over it.you missed a . >>me i'm blaming. >> you sorry about that, jim. it was nice for you to come on with us. joining me now, someone who is not only a former teammate of drew brees but he has done work and focused on the family, as well. former tight end for the new orleans saints who just came out of retirement to play for the patriots. all right, ben, you came out swiftly to defend drew on twitter and then you were called week for standing up for another grown man by the editor in chief
11:27 pm
of black sports online. what was that all about? your response tonight? >> i'm not sure what that was about but i can say that when we talk about the bible and we talk about scripture, it's very cleas very clear that blood of christ aren't we made right and whether we are christian or nonbelievers, we understand that we all have sin that needs to be forgiven, that's why we believe, and we hold ourselves to the standards of the scriptures so we are all under the same bible and it's really encouraging to see the support that came out for drew. it's going to be really encouraging to see on october 3rd how many kids bring their bible because we do have the right in this country to celebrate our religion and we do have the freedomo of religion ad we do have the ability to exercise that religion however we see fit. >> laura: benjamin, they're so much focus on some of the more controversial players and former players, kaepernick, et cetera.
11:28 pm
why isn't there more focus on so much of the positive stuff that is done by athletes, including christian athletes? obviously, have done an enormous amount for new orleans as have a lot ofof your teammates, and i'm not just focusing on the saints because the saints because the patriots do a lot as well for the boston community but it seems like it's just all kaepernick state type stuff all the time. he gets lauded by the elites but someone who just says, you know live your faith, live your christian faith, he's just lacerated by "the washington post." "the washington post" writes a piece about him saying brees defended himself. so they focused on that but it seems like anms inordinate amout of attention o goes to theposite
11:29 pm
negative on something like this. >> we have talked a lot about collin and i said that i supported his right to take a knee but what sells is either a circus or a crisis. coaches have said that to me all the time. it's either a circus or a crisis. people are always looking for a second story so when it comes to things that are controversial and maybe it comes to something that can play in the media something that would create a great headline, something that plays to whoever has the loudest microphone, that's what you're going to see. there are t plenty of players wo do great things in the community. i'm on a team of plenty of them. over the course of my 16-year career, i have been in the locker with guys whose have stand for sex trafficking the poor, raciale inequities things like mass incarceration criminal justice reform, we have guys that are very passionate about our community and sometimes you are right. that goes under the radar because it's not something that will spark an interest and spark kind of a fight in a time where we live in a culture that's very divisive. certain things are kindwe of lie
11:30 pm
fish food where everyone wants . >> laura: have a cat. i want to get a quick a reaction to someone we covered last week where jamaal hill created a stir with a piece in the atlantic was argued that black athletes should stop attending white majority colleges. what's your reaction to this? >> welcome i read theck article and when i read the article, i agreed with her. she had some great points in that article. when you look at the history of hbcus and you look at black colleges in the hundreds of thousands of people that have come to the schools over the course of the last several years since they've been created and you look at what's been lost since integration has happened, what she was saying is somebody that is athletic and a multibillion-dollar business.cen i went to historically white universities that have a lot of money based on athletics but what she is saying is look, we live inn a time where there is a big racial wealth gap. the average white family has an income net worth that's ten times that of a black family so
11:31 pm
if we are able to have some of these athletes that create so much in common, go to some of these schools, now that white students don't go, we live in times where everybody can go wherever they want to what she what she was saying was simply we are trying to pumpo money and revenue into some of these communities that are still big disparities. this may be a way to do it. obviously, that's in a vacuum for other factors to figure into that but when you read her argument, look, she lays it out very cleanly and it's actually something that i agree with. >> laura: all right, benjamin. well i think duke would have not been thrilled about you are not being there but we will leave it at that. college sports would certainlybe be a lot different today if -- if we went on a color-coded waye admissions. that's re-segregating the country. why do we want that? >> no, because segregation as you know is government mandated. ow >> i get it, i get it. >> this is not segregation.
11:32 pm
if you read the article -- >> laura: i read the article. i read the article. all right, we have to go. we want you back playing soon. i know you have a few more games and you will be back playing.we. you take care. >> i loved to come back on at some point.i'm working on on ann document supply we're doing that. i can't wait. best to your family. keep the pictures coming to root we love seeing your picks on twitter and then stop ra coming out, the steele dossier, could it come from the same people that funded hillary's will be a connection? an ingram angle, next.
11:33 pm
11:34 pm
11:35 pm
>> laura: my next guest has spent weeks pouring over details that show a shocking level of hypocrisy at the highest level. real clear investigations mark hemingway says h that he found that it shows that those who shaped hillary clinton's failed lybia policy areand event from it are some of the same folks of which the phony steele dossier. mark hemingway joins me now to unpack it all. mark, we are going to take the audience through a couple of the biggest findings. but, first, tell us how the clinton players have beenua involved from libya to steal. >> well actually we learned that holy clinton had a fight private
11:36 pm
email address first because her longtime email got hacked and as part of that hacked, we learned that he had a particular intereste in the libyan affairs and was constantly emailing hillary clinton into reports about what was going on in libya and working with theon ex-cia agent and this other longtime clinton awful person named cody share and for a long time we wondered what the particular interest was and these fbi -- information was giving reports to ask when a motive for that which was recovering libyan assets and which would've been a very lucrative scheme for then.gadhaf dollars from o the country. they would've gotten a portion of any of that money that they recovered. now as of today, city blumenthal is on record denying he had anything to do with us but the fact of the matter is the fbi was given all this information in june of 2016 to peter strzok's team and as far as we know, they did no investigation of it that we know of.st >> laura: well, who, other than you, who is doing an investigation of this now? i mean and can we conclude that
11:37 pm
this is being examined by the doj or others? >> i've got no comment on the fbi or the doj on any of this. there is some really stunning allegations that are put outthee just allegations, but they are exactly the kind of thing that seems to merit investigation. thee important thing though is that if you contrast that with the fbi behavior, shortly after this report, they got another partisan source report the made shocking allegations about donald trump that they knew contained falsehoods and that was an all hands on deck affair for investigation whereas this other report that contained shocking allegations involving clinton appears to have been summarily ignored. >> laura: as far back as 2015 trey gowdy and others were probing these emails of the blumenthal center hillary. so he wrote that at the same time the blumenthal was pushing secretary clinton to war in
11:38 pm
libya, he was privately pushing business interest of his own that were stood to profit. so what you're reporting is more evident of what gaudi originally found, correct? >> yes. >> and we withouts blumenthal's denial, kind of. -- and rebuts blumenthal's denial, kind of. >> well what it is is information was given to the fbi bthat was very specific of allegations being them involved in this acid recovery scheme that would give them a profit motive for engaging and a profit motive for wanting to sabotage donald trump's campaign. again, these allegations are as yet unproven but there were other questions that were asked about what they were doing in libya at the time in 2015 from independent reporting like propublica and "the new york times" involving -- >> laura: the whole thing is that why was he going to benghazi? why is the ambassador going to benghazi when they knew how dangerous it h was? i mean, that just goes back to the whole question of benghazi. it was so incredibly bad that they were already warned about this as a separate matter in libya. that was another question. >> absolutely.
11:39 pm
yeah. actually, earlier reporting i did in 2015 show that the cia officer was working with city blumenthal and was actually a consultant to cbs news in 60 minutes and may have been responsible for spiking critical benghazi reporting that they had done. >> laura: unbelievable. the clinton web always gets woven tighter and tighter. and speaking of the fbis and hillary clinton, new emails and covered by citizens responsibility and ethics in washington show just how much the fbi was scrambling with the fallout from the 2016 clinton investigation. now the emails specifically shows a concerted effort by a former deputy director andrew mccabe to work with the process and reveal internal fbi deliberations surrounding the former secretary of state. here now is former counsel fox news contributor ken starr..
11:40 pm
it seems the fbi, mccabe specifically, spent more time trying to clean up their conflicts than actually pursuing wrongdoing here. >> yeah. sort of a lack of focus on what's really important as the save your skin, do what you need to do to preserve your job or whatever but that's right from the kiev's own which we now have. we see now that he was scurrying around, in fact he said he spent the better part of the day working at "the wall street journal" trying to shape the story and so forth instead of doing what the fbi should be doing. and all of us had to do of course with andrew mccabe's alleged conflicts because of his spouse and ties to the clintons through the governor of virginia and so forth. we need the fbi to focus on what's important and andrew mccabe did not seem to be doing that. >> laura: i want to go on to another couple of issues. can the impeachment mania that has just gripped the democrat party, pelosi comes out, she was asked about this today.
11:41 pm
a new step toward impeachment. let's watch.h. >> do you support the revolution that chairman adler had put forward? >> yes, i do. i think we should really stand behind it. we should all work together. >> wants to set the agenda for impeachment or is it just to mollify the radicals and the democratic party and just hang a little piece of meat over the edge of the porch and maybe they will come? theyramoth will be satisfied to. >> they've got to keep the howling dogs happy, satisfied and busy. this continues to be the impeachment movement, fringe movement, you've looked at the numbers. you show those numbers on the numbers haven't changed. what we do know from history is that impeachment is not going to work. when you have zero republicans in the house of representatives, zero republicans in the united states senate, the senate is largely quiet.
11:42 pm
we have 98 democrats for the latest count who are not supporting this move for impeachment. it is a fringe movement, it's all about politics, it's all about 2020. they are hoping that something will break. a big breakthrough. but there is no indication at all that that is going to happen. >> laura: ken, thank you so much. great to see you tonight and coming outns bernie sanders trotted out his latest campaigns are paired all we can say she's one of the worst actors and political activists. we are going to explain it next.
11:43 pm
11:44 pm

>> laura: democrats have pushed back against accusations that some of its rising stars are anti-semitic, but bernie sanders, who is jewish grew up jewish, is making that a lot harder by trotting out linda sarsour as a campaignpoer. --er is got. -- seragate. now, she has defended sharia law, supports the anti-israel bds movement and has ties to the palestinian terrorist group. joining me now, member of the council on foreign relations and coast founder of the muslim reform movement. doctor, the obviously he sends a

pretty bad message to pro-israel but what kind of message does this send to american muslims? >> this is very clear it's not surprising at all that the last the contemporary left is embracing someone who has islamic ties. certainly she's a woman of color, daughter of migrants, but she embraces a very anti-semitic bds stance. she has actually demonized jewish scientists. she's excluded from the women's march, jewish scientists who wanted to support and be in solidarity with women and this means that the left is very comfortable seeing as a badge of belonging, as a mark of belonging fraternizingng with anti-semitism even when it comes to the disguise and the sum of all virtues of this woman wearing a veil of color whoa lor culture worships is this kind of victim chic. 4 so it's really devastating for us. we want to see it muslims inpol,
11:47 pm
and i like to see a muslim like since ronnie in critical power but this is a liberalism in the left marrying with anti-semitism. >> laura: you found this about a week ago and the language is a bit shocking. let's watch. >> all fascists, every single one of them is a fascist. stand up against fascism. i'm pretty sure it will be approval of us banding together as a community am saying we will not allow islamophobia, anti-muslim bigot. they want israel free. they want you to talk about palestine. we will come back in 2021 and we will try and move together. >> your re action when sarsour said that. >> i did that for the islamic society of north american conference. i've been reporting on her penetration to the democratic party for the last decade and i was shocked at howw she used shame and this holier
11:48 pm
than thou attitude to try to basically goad muslims anddoing. at this conference i picked up the american flag, muslim democrats.org, because this is what they have done. it's a calculated strategy just like she was just saying. they have used this liberalism of america to bring their illiberal ideas and it's really tragic for america because that next night then, while linda sarsour was saying that we've got to get these fascists out of the white house, bernie sanders came to town and he did his speech, got a standing ovation from the muslims, and down at the bazaar, i got this book. that's the right of the spouses and it says here that the muslim man can beat his wife. >> laura: that was a book for sale. >> at the conference? >> at the conference. >> where are the feminists here? where are the feminists in the united states who would stand up for this? i've got to borrowow this. >> you can flip through ite and you just look at those headings
11:49 pm
and then you look at this.this e conference. this is one that most muslims knows, the reliance of the traveler. it sounds great. a nice chapter on jihad and why we should wage jihad against the jews and the christians.nd this is where bernie sanders got his information. >> laura: this is where the democratic party is now, waging -- i mean, this book for sale downstairs where she celebrated and now she's endorsing bernie. doctor, very quickly intersectionality.i talk about n college campuses much we've do the 20 seconds, what is it? >> it came out as a very sensible legal definition to make sure that workers that were african-american and female were treated equally.e that is an american value. but today p intersectionality is like a competition of who is the most valuable victim. it is including all victims except the jews. the jewish person, who was the
11:50 pm
survivor of the world's worst genocide in history, is excluded from the fourth iteration of intersectionality, and that is what is the strong current carrying this kind of a feminist into the modern democratic party. >> yeah, you know, it's just as she was saying, this idea of humanity, it does not extend to the jewish. they aren't included. >> laura: they don't think of them as humans. in their view, they are not human, even though she said it would be great to have the first jewish american president. >> it is because he dares to be anti-israel. >> very important, this is not all democrats. this is not representing centrist democrats, many of whom are my beloved jewish friends but this is pulling the party. >> laura: all right guys. we're going to have you back. we always do because this issue is not going away, especially with linda sarsour campaigning with bernie sanders.

>> trumps rally last night. >> donald, you are inviting violence, blood that is spilled is on your hands. >> now that study purported to find a 226% increase in hate crimes in counties that hosted a trump rally, but two harvard ph.d. student rest ran the numbers and not only debunked that claim but found that counties that hosted hillary rallies saw bigger spike in hate crimes. so joining me now, restitution victor, can we count on a retraction here? >> not really, but it is ironic because the progressive left believes, we're told, in the scientific method and what we learned from this correction was there is no more correlation betweening the trump rally and violencehe than eclipses and the high tides in violence. it is just a metrodomology
11:55 pm
demonize trump. and the two democratic candidates such as joe biden and corey c booker both promised thy would like to beat up trump, use physical violence, and they're running for the united states. if you or i walked out with a beto hat or elizabeth warren hat, nobody was touch us, but walk out with a maga hat. >> and jesse smollett can completely fake line and it just become as punch lean duct matter. he will probably go on and get another good acting job and his contrary will go on and it will be forgot about just like the covington catholic stuff that gets forgotten about and trump will be painted as the angry, seethe gig and as we just talked about, they're trotting out lend dah czar sour with bernie sanders' campaign.
