we will see you tomorrow night. tucker carlson is next. stay tuned for that. good night ever ready. have a good night. ms. of ♪ >> tucker: good evening and welcome to tucker carlson tonight as the brett kavanaugh saga has just reminded us, the left roots around for people they don't like. the question is, do they apply the same standard to themselves? we have breaking news about the past of a well-known progressive who once again confirms that noel. the standards are not the same. we will bring that to you in just a minute. but first, here's a quick quiz. what exactly do you know about kamala harris? can you name three things she believes? can you name a single thing she's accomplished?

most americans cannot. you have no idea who she is. the one thing you know about harris is that she could very easily become the president of the united states. and you know this because you've been told that confidently again and again on television. >> the name i'm hearing now, because there was a she the people serving in politics. number one name of people, the person that is on people's mind peered kamala harris. >> barack obama. >> kamala harris is now running for president. and she is one of the top tier candidates. >> there is a new challenger to trump and she's drawing huge crowds, senator, harris of california. trump is envious as. >> on paper, she has the highest ceiling. >> tucker: these people are so

stupid, it's remarkable. kamala harris, she is a star. destine for big things. she's like obama, 2.0. even more diversity points out there in america. they love kamala harris. she's like pete seeger. for eight months, they try to cram that story down your throa throat. "the times" has looked almost semipossible if we close one ey eye. she did nonstick joe biden as a racist. it later emerged that harris herself had doubts about school busing. in fact, almost no african family in america supported school busing. it was and a disaster. yeah, brutal. just dominated the guy. turns out she didn't actually
5:03 pm
dominate anybody and she's not dominating anybody. a new poll from california, obviously her home state, which she represents is the united states senate shows her way in the back of the pack. she is now in fifth place. she's pulling at 6%. here are some perspective. as of today, kamala harris is using to andrew yang, the anti-circumcision candidate. whatever you think of his ideas, he is smart, he is original, he's totally genuine. harris is the opposite. harris, by the way it is a daughter of a stanford professor, which is great. good for her. and yet, she somehow pretends that she overcame segregation. she is also a former prosecutor. she put others in jail for marijuana, but she now brags about smoking it herself. she's cool.

5:07 pm
important to the democrat debate. for some reason, she took her foot off the gas. the rest of us saw her. even in her own state, as you point out, she's now polling fifth. she has the ability to take it to either by biden or warren. instead, she made a decision at the last moment to take a dig at president trump. obviously, that is not happenin happening. i think her funders are probably thinking, "you might have to find another horse to back." >> tucker: i think her problem is a basic lack of authenticity. i get the sense that she could lose it. yet, with kamala harris, when she attacks biden as a racist. she really was attacking him. let's be honest.

that's what she was implying. nobody supported him, including most black families. that such a fake pretext to attack the guy on. >> dana: here's the thing about andrew yang. he knows exactly why he's running for president. he can tell you. he lands solidly on every single issue that he cares about. you might not agree with the universal-based income, but he can explain to you why he thinks it's the right thing to do. he's very well seasoned in the problems of american manufacturing. kamala harris is looking at south carolina. not spending too much time in new hampshire. she is like, oh wait. i guess we better go to iowa. go to iowa, and she's talking a lot about the farmers. she can't seem to land and pull together a group. i do think that if she she's go have one last chance. you have elizabeth warren

"i think for democrats, they would be much better off if they want to try to put a dent into biden's campaign is to actually attack him on something where he is insufficiently liberal. he knows how to really dig in. they are all just basically
5:10 pm
waiting to see if joe biden is going to crater. so far, that hasn't happened, and somebody is going to have to take a shot. i don't know who it's going to be necessarily. may be bernie sanders, but even for him, i feel like he is not leading any parade. there is no headline that he's producing. the only one producing headlines right now is elizabeth warren. however, what is she not producing? black support. >> tucker: right. >> dana: i think she's pulling out about 2% with african-americans. but there is going to be a reckoning, and we are here to cover it. >> tucker: i think she's sweeping the faculty lounge. >> dana: let's be honest. you couldn't do that. for years, ilhan omar may have been in an illegal marriage with her brother, speaking of immigration fraud. many have alleged this in the past, and it's looking like there could be some facts. so, on tuesday, omar deleted a 6-year-old tweet wishing a happy father's day. so, in somali culture, a man's middle name is typically his father's name. that would suggest that this is a father and son. in other words, she would have been married to her biological brother. in a statement, congresswoman omar's gave the justification for deleting the tweet. she said this. "omar and her family are subject to constant threats. when people write vile things on post about people she loves -- including posting disturbing doctored images of her father -- she takes them down."
