plate. pete: sure they recognize when you cut taxes dollarss and deregulate that's baked into the markets. he is running against a bunch of folks who want to replace him. one is joe biden. you have others on the far left talking about wealth taxes. is he exploring a new wall street tax. talk about what this wall street tax would be for biden? >> he wants to tax trades on stocks and bonds. here is what is happening. is he trying to find a way to go a little bit further left without having to go left. it's a problem he can't solve. is he supposed to be the electable candidate for the general election. he can't go too far left he won't get to the general if he can't get out of a left leaning primary. is he trying to play it both ways. warren and sanders are so far left. he can't go there how can i split the difference. what he ends up doing he is in the muddled middle right now. he doesn't have a clear message. nobody knows where he stands. he looks unattractive both to the far left and he is increasingly looking

it's actually an amazing device. pete: can you fold it too much? will it have a crease in the middle eventually? kurt kurt we just got it. i doubt it because it's tough to crack. it could have that. but i think the thing here is if you really are that person that irlove to brag about having the latest and greatest technology. this is a really cool thing. it does give you the idea of having a phone like this and then a tablet when you are on the go to watch content or really take the format larger and it is a very thoughtful device in terms of you who it's made. six cameras inside of it. so it's got three on the back here take great pictures. there is no way you will miss a selfie with this one for sure. jedediah: one thing i will say though i held it. it's very heavy. that was my first observation and secondly just being a girl and times when i'm overdue for my manicure i do have nails i would be afraid. the warnings they're putting out are kind of excessive compared to other things.

of these jurisdictions are sanctuary cities if you will. how frustrating is that for you? >> it's been extremely disappointing to us in federal law enforcement. particularly in the immigration context there are individuals in the state of california that have died as a result of a criminal alien that's been released back out into the community. so it's just very disheartening for us. griff: now, guys, you had the acting ice director matt albence at the white house on thursday and he was bringing attention to this noting there were some 1300 arrests made this week. and that more than 105,000 criminal aliens were arrested last year that included 10,000 plus gang members. and he highlighted the fact that 90% of the people that ice arrests in the interior of the u.s. are convicted criminals. it is a huge challenge. and as you saw there, they are not kicking in the doors and aggressively taking people because they have these administrative warrants for those criminals illegally in this country

that have been deemed eligible for deportation. pete: griff, so well done what you depicted perfectly is this idea if the detainer had been honored these criminals would have been handed to ice instead going door to door finding each individual one by one putting their own lives at risk. >> that's exactly right, pete. the individual we did apprehend there he had seven duis one with manslaughter. so they tell me that whoever was injured or killed in that manslaughter case it wouldn't have happened had the local law enforcement handed them over in the county jail before he was released and ice had to go get him. jedediah: griff, the perception often is that these members of ice are knocking these doors down, raiding these homes. you corrected that saying, you know, you need a warrant to actually get in there. you are setting the record straight. the perception these are innocent victims. they are people many times to have long criminal records many encounters with law enforcement and many convictions that ice is going after.

i often think oh they would be likely to flock to new york or los angeles or the san francisco. that's actually not a trend that's hang. they are actually looking for places that are these smaller southern cities. why is that? >> it's a little bit of herd mentality with young people. again, in austin have you university of texas and nashville have you vanderbilt. in raleigh, durham, have you all of those schools. they graduate from college. their friends are there their friend finds a job they go to visit their friends. employers go there. other thing about affordability. afondledable to do business. not just the personal income tax that's low or doesn't exist in the case of texas, but tax structure for businesses is low. and rent is cheaper for businesses. so, you have a virtuous cycle of employers coming and, you know, listen, if you go earlier in the economic recovery, when it was harder to find a job. people started flocking to the places where they could find them. we have this positive momentum. that's really the story. young people want to be where young people want to be. the one thing about austin
