it to the weekend. it has been a long week. thank you so much as always for joining us on "fox and friends first". and iranian oil tanker reportedly attacked off the coast of saudi arabia overnight. iran state media says two missile to the tanker causing heavy damage with oil now spilling into the red sea. iran says all crewmembers are safe and the situation is under control. no one has claimed responsibility in the saudi's have not commented. the blast comes amid heightened tensions between washington and iran with the us accusing iran of attacks on foreign tankers near the strait of hormuz. a spokesperson said american authorities are aware of the blast and we will bring you the latest developments on that. in the meantime also breaking this morning turkey claims 277

between what was going on inside and outside. >> that discrepancy can only help the president. americans are so divided about almost every institution in our lives. very low approval ratings, the only one of very few institutions left in this country that actually has majority support and trust is the police, law enforcement. this helps the president when compared with the behavior of the protesters outside calling cops pigs, rioting, this is not behavior the american people support and they are more in line with the president then folks outside. heather: i was watching like lots of folks whereas senator tim scott was on from south carolina. he said these protesters have a right to protest but not the right to be violent. what did you think of what was happening?

>> i don't think anyone was hurt as ice are reported, people burning m aga hats, they were not protesting law enforcement, they were protesting the president. this bodes well for democrats when you look at the fact donald trump's poll numbers are down 14 points in estate he lost by 45,000 votes. it will not get better because of this because of the controversy he is embroiled in, doesn't look good for him in minnesota. heather: he only lost by 1.5% and only visited the state once and had a huge turnout with this rally so you don't think things might be different this time around? >> the poll numbers that say he is down 14 points were from september 19th. now the fox news polls said the majority of americans petition

minneapolis i think the more people in the middle are going to say we might not agree with donald trump on everything, we might not approve of the job he is doing in every aspect but they might be willing to vote for him quietly especially when they see this kind of intimidation, there was a lot of intimidation of people who wanted to come this rally and expressed her political opinions. i think there's often that gap between outside approval of donald trump and people willing to vote for him when they see this is what the left is. lou: i know you want to make a comment about that but as we all know, the polls were very wrong last time around. >> hillary clinton has low approval ratings as well. 2016 was a different case with two very unpopular candidates going head to head. the one thing i will say is i don't think this rally will turn anything one way or the other. when you talk about a rally that will turn things, talk about charlottesville where people

in medical debt. heather: have you heard any personal stories from the people you were able to help? >> we got a phone call yesterday from a woman who had been accidentally shot and had medical debt. it had been a burden on his family. he called the church and was grateful for the help and it will change his life. heather: that is amazing. if you look across the country this is a significant problem for folks. indiana actually ranks fourth in terms of the top ten state when it comes to past-due medical debt at 32.5% where obviously your church is located. >> exactly. medical debt has become a national crisis. 42.9 million americans have

medical debt. heather: continues to rise, right? >> actually, 60% of all bankruptcies have medical debt. heather: i you going to continue to go down this path? what advice would you give other churches across the country that could follow your path? >> i hope other churches will pick up the idea. we want to help families in crisis, we want them to know there are people who care about them. i think it is a great idea wherever you are located because there's medical debt all over america. we tell our people, we helped 6000 families. that seems like a number but every number has a name, every
