complicated to have to keep going because i want to ask you about iran in the midst of the war that is broken out. what are you on high alert as it pertains to iran? >> syria has always been in their orbits. the has not changed. there was never a chance we would kick them out as long as they have the support of the rain and. in the russians. the problem is exactly the same. where are they going to go, everywhere they go they bump into somebody. they bump -- they stood back and let the israeli attack iranian targets in syria. the russians were going to put themselves out. arthel: do you feel without the presence of the united states that israel is really protected.

>> people have to ask themselves a question, how can a couple hundred of americans jump into a syrian civil war and orchestrate the incredible campaign. the answer is releasable, all parties were happy for the americans to do that. nobody wanted to see it. but the notion that somehow those 300 americans could really determine the fate of the civil war that is incredibly unrealistic in taking down the picture it does not change the internal dynamic all that much. arthel: i'm going to leave it there. i have to move on. thank you very much. meanwhile on capitol hill the presidents were slamming the democrats impeachment inquiry. he says he will not comply with subpoena to that what does that mean for the former mayor in the impeachment process we will look at legal implications coming up. t certification process. or it isn't. it's either testing an array of advanced safety systems.

happening. this is a matter of foreign policy, there is no modern president of some buddy like rudy giuliani on behalf of the president running around and doing shadow foreign policy apparatus that is built to pursue the u.s. interest outside the united states and having a personal attorney do that and undermines that it calls into question why they would do that. it appears he would do that to promote the president's interest then to the economy's interest. it is detrimental to the national security. arthel: if rudy giuliani is working on behalf of his client who happens to be the president of the united states, can he exercise range of client privilege with an ordinary schism citizen. >> is a very fine line. he is representing the president and a security firm and claims he's not a lobbyist but every company that retains him that is interviewed about relationship state the reason they hire him is access to the president. he is a most conflicted out, at

are taking to the streets protesting against the corruption in the state of the economy. it is unsettling for the family of an american who is being held by the lebanese government. he is from new hampshire and he was taken into custody by the military in september when he returned from the united states for a visit. he worked in a prison during israel's occupation of lebanon. lebanese authorities consider him a collaborator. it's a mostly christian organization that fought with israel against the law and palestinian terrorist before the 2000 is really in withdrawal from lebanon. the family tells fox news they're increasingly worried and asking the term ministration to work to set him free saying, this is a cry for help to the chopper ministration and specifically president trump. president trump will always have our support just like he had it before the 2016 election.
