11:00 pm
my new book "power graph." have a great weekend. sean will be back here on monday. laura ingraham is up next. ♪ >> laura: i am laura ingraham and this is a special edition of "the ingraham angle" from washington tonight. did james clapper coordinate a media hit on general michael flynn? a bombshell court filing dropped late last night suggest just that. mollie hemingway and victor davis hanson are here with analysis and reaction. george soros has been quietlyer working behind the scenes for decades but now he has a new goal. he's financing the campaign of far left prosecutors and this is a story that could affect the safety and security of your community and you don't want to miss it. and a haunted house that requires a medical waiver and a safe word.
11:01 pm
hollywood's reboot obsession, it never ends. and what happened to joe biden's hispanicho website? raymond arroyo has all the details in a spooky friday folly. but first the announcement that u.s. attorney john durham's investigation is now a criminal probe and has made a lot of folks nervous in this town. they are all the same intel and media collaborate to make a collaborators that spread the phony collision narrative from the start. former obama and director of national intelligenceth james clapper appeared on television. it was it just me or did he seem to struggle to get out the right words? >> well, i'm very curious since presumably i'm one of those under investigation. sti found the timing interesting given the increasing heat around the impeachment inquiry. >> do you have any idea what
11:02 pm
might rise to the level of criminal offense? >> that's obviously an item of great interest to me. >> passed the depends. for his part former deputy director of the fbi andrew mccabe on cnn thought to shift the focus of the condo.s >> it there seems to be with the president and attorney general as well underlying lack of trust. if those decision-makers are not convinced that that they are not taking the russian threat from 2020 elections as seriously as they should. >> remember mckay visit guy who himself is under investigation. perhaps is himself a former obama security official and might have thought about disclosing that in the
11:03 pm
conversation. and finally did nbc hire alex jones? >> this bizarro treasure hunt for dirt on our own intelligence services to try to set up russia's interference is a false flag operation. according to the conspiracy russia didn't do that, russia didn't intervene. what happened is the obama administration that was setting this all up as a frame job. >> i actually felt bad for the folks over at the other networks last night. the news came late and they didn't have time to fully process it or and marinate in it. at some tinfoil hats might have been on a little too tight. the same people spent two years of course promoting the russia hoax and they hyped every detail of the mueller probe claiming it wasn't politically motivated. and instead of embracing of an investigation by highly respected attorney, they are lashing out and trying to discredit durham of all people
11:04 pm
who has bipartisan accolades for him, but not any longer. and he has to finish his work. joining me now is mollie hemingway, fox news contributor, andhe victor david hansen, senior fellow at the hoover institution. this is happening exactly how you said v it would. the left is in full panic mode. where do they go from here beyond of the smears that began last night for both bar and it durham?f >> i don't think they have anywhere to go. i think klapper was right but the timing was odd but in the exact opposite way that he thinks. these things have been long ongoing investigations but what's weird is i think in a strange way they helped explain this panicky psychodrama about the whistle-blower because on a scale of 1-10, melodrama about
11:05 pm
trumps impeachment, it rates about a storm a or a moment because of about three. yet they have this entire umumimpeachment case on this whistle-blower that violateden e statute by first going straight to adam schiff's staff. it doesn't match the official transcript and the statute itself was changed. it didn't make sense and that he doesn't want to come forward. theyke asked themselves, why do they predicate this whole latest push for impeachment? i think the answer is they have to change the news cycle because the new cycle, to use an old english expression, the worm has turned and it's going to be mccabe andpr brennan and klapper and call for the next six months. they want to get this impeachment thing out there to drive down trumps poles. >> laura: it's all about 2020. the idea that this is about
11:06 pm
finding out the truth, it's not about finding out the truth it's about 2020 election molly, this will some of what we heard last night as it was unfolding,s as the news was coming out. watch. >> we are asking whether or not this was politically motivated whether the president wanted a way to try to get to the bottom of this deep states of conspiracy that he thinks is behind him. that they are trying to deflect attention away from the entire impeachment proceeding.. >> now conspiracy theory are rising to the level of length a jet investigation. >> laura: molly, this is like gas where they are corner to kind of in a room with no doors. >> it's an amazing amount of production. if there even a hint of skepticism, we were told that>> this was proof of guilt.
11:07 pm
this probe is politically motivated. one, thus conspiracy theory for years. >> don jr. and trump tower. >> not a single, a huge embarrassing failure for the media. at the same time, the question about spying on the trump campaign using human informants national security letters o and overseas intelligence assets that was a crazy conspiracy theory. it's not a crazy conspiracy theory, and they are being shown once again to have lied to their viewers and lied to their readers or lied to the people about what was going on. >> laura: another element of this breaking news last night
11:08 pm
came in the form of this filing that sidney powell was representing michael flynn. and that was an impromptu sudden interview that he was asked to do with fbi agents. the legal team is alleging that the agents tampered with the evidence to charge flynn himself with lying. that's an interview memo after the subject is interviewed. so the question is, according to sidney powell to "take the kill shot on flynn" after he obtained these leaked transcripts of flynn's phone calls. klapper's people denied this and that's information about these calls with kissling act. suddenly, the article appears
11:09 pm
and the agents proceed to interview michael flynn. >> we know there was a criminal leak of classified information and we know that happened because it appeared in "the washington post." there are no charges against the person who did it despite itit being a very serious crime. whether klapper was the person who did that and or whether others were involved is unknown at this point. but what's really unfortunate is, without any investigation instead of going down rabbit holes without a single american being found to have done this. we do know from klapper's testimony that he did like to talk too reporters. he has admitted that in this testimony. >> remember they have seen it how mike received lot of documents. the defense is entitled to his exculpatory information, and molly and i were just talking in
11:10 pm
the greenan room, their text messages that have just been released in the filing thate nobody has seen before. that referred toto leaks and a crescendo of leaks, this is wild stuff. we are getting behind the scenes picture of how these agents were, from my view, my background in criminal defense if i were sidney powell i would be making this exact argument. you were approved of the set up a flynn. and that's obviously what it looks like moree and more. >> they referred to each other in their own texts as if lisa page was massaging or auditing peter strzok's notes to make a more criminalizing case and then lied about it when she was confronted with the actual text. she said she might have done it. it even more bizarre because these are the same to post fecteau decided that james comey's presidential men those were not secret but they
11:11 pm
rewere merely confidential. so peter strzok was everywhere.l he was with cheryl mills interview michael flynn, and comey kind of joke saying we got the stroke in there without anything on the part of flynn. it it was an incestuous operation and they probably broke not only an ethical canon but they broke the law. wheels of justice grind slowly but they do grind. this is not a psychodrama like this is something -- that's why they are scared and terrified. that's impeachment dilution. >> laura: the threads are being pulled from the fabric. i want to put up this one tweet. this analyst put this up last night.
11:12 pm
it was bad enough that trump and barr were wasting resources on this but now they are fully weaponizing doj. the attorney general can be impeached. the doj was weaponized and this was a threat to the entire republic whether it was the handling of the clinton probe or the dramatically different handling of the investigation to the trump campaign. that's not good for everybody. we need to be able to trust in the rule of law and trust in these agencies, and so whatever needs to be done to clean it out is good. >> molly and victor, we always appreciate you coming on especially on a friday night. president trump escaped today and went to south carolina for criminal justice reform summit at a historically black college.
11:13 pm
>> the democratic policies have let african-americans down and taken them for granted. they have taken african-american communities for granted t and i promise you that republicans will never, ever do that. we will keep fighting for you. >> this headline from the post and courier tells the real story." trump's visit to the 2020 forum at south carolina's black college blindsided democrats." the left is obviously upset that they cannot gloss over trump's record. joining me now is candace owens and author of the upcoming book "black out and scott turner." director of the white house opportunities zone and revitalization council. the democrats don't like these events. trump, energized and you have a lot of people who have benefited
11:14 pm
from the first step back who are tspeaking as human beings and nt political actors, but seeing what he's actually done with heart and mind focus on a problem of incarceration for years and years after most people today gets fair. >> here's the problem they will suffer within 2020. in 2016 the democrats ran the platform that if the trump gets elected the world will end for black america. if you felt like trump got elected, it was all going to be over. white supremacy would come back and what would happen? things got better for black america and that is a big problem that they have to contend with. trump also has the spine to get in front of black audiences and say, look what i've done. i asked you a question, what did you have to lose, and clearly the answer is nothing.oo >> laura: and i think the president should continue to make inroads into all american communities across multiple ethnic and racial backgrounds. he should go to places like chicago, he should go to philly
11:15 pm
he should go to oakland california. i don't think there should be any places in this country where the president shouldn't go and sell the message of peace and prosperity.he today and south carolina we had this great moment where anne-marie johnson who is one of the creators of the first deaf act and she spoke about what this measure did for her. of course she thanked president trump. >> we are human beings. i represent,an as you see my fae here, you see the faces of the ones you will never see unless we come together. it was only by the grace of god that our president's heart was touched. >> laura: matthew charles said that trump saved his life. >> i would say this without
11:16 pm
hesitation i would not be a friend, and what was a reaction like? >> everyone's heart was just so filled with joy, these are actual people that have been released from prison and because of the president at the and the administration they are free and they have a new lease on life. and when the people, and it was a very moving but real moment. these are real issues and policies that have been passed. >> laura: candace, when you hear aoc and the squad talk
11:17 pm
about white privilege, this is a moral stain on our country. and this is what they are doing. that was caused by rich people that don't care. >> it's a bad product, and that's why conservatives are winning. we go in and we say you can embrace the future and here are the results the president is delivering. you can give up and become part of the american dream. this is why republicans are winning right now and why conservatives are going to win in 2020. it's better messaging. we are tired of the fearmongering, we areet tired of being told that we can't because of the color of our skin. >> those events have to
11:18 pm
continue. anymore plans for similar types of events? i think this is transformational. >> he will do more and he's not going to be intimidated because he understands this bigger than him. if you look at the policy that have been implemented throughout the administration, it's about the american people. the 300 million people that live in this country, that's the heartbeat of the president and the heartbeat of the people and the administration. it's about the people. and those policies have to outlast. i'm hopeful and i'm confident that he will continue, all of u will continue to go around the country and encouraging our citizens with policies. >> laura: i know neither of you will be intimidated and the president won't be enintimidatig don't let the mob stop you. coming up, the weed of vacation of america.

11:23 pm
>> the cbd industry is like the wild west. it's a good industry and a good product but there needs to be regulation. >> laura: and the public's interest in cbd or cannabidiol is growing. a according to a new study millions of people every month are searching the internet to learn more about cbd which can commentve everything from oils jelly beans, skin lotion and even bath salts.
11:24 pm
and tell your children. the truth about marijuana mental illness and violence. why isn't cbd as innocent of substance as all these marketers and all these manufacturers and a lot of fancy people inta hollywoodre claim? >> let me just say this. interest isn't just growing it's exploding and accelerating. and that's the real problem. and look at what we had recently with the vaping illnesses? what if there was tainted cbd? it might be bad for the public because it causes people to turn away from proven treatment. what if people are trying to use cbd instead of actually going to the doctor when you could get better? >> there's no medical benefit from these projects, and that
11:25 pm
you have been all over this. i think of all the people out there who've discussed with specificity the threat and the substances and you've read a lot about the marijuana industry. at the big money push for pot legalization. a the truth is being withheld, and the cbc said now probable lung injuries including 34 deaths both the fda and cdc have not yet identified a brand substance or device. but in most cases the illnesses have been tied to thc vaping products. b alex, this is a huge issue. >> it's a huge problem. there are a couple of reallyt' interesting facets to this. one is the cannabis industry
11:26 pm
they encourage people who may not be paying close attention to this, cbd is good for xyz and that means cannabis is good for xyz. beyond the fact that there is no evidence that cbd is good for x y, or z, cbd isn't really cannabis. grandma is using cbd supposedly she thinks it will help her arthritis but her grandson is upstairs getting high on thc. so those who only use cbd won't know enough to know the difference. as for vaping, the industry has gone out of its way to demonize "illegal" vapes. that's not true. that people have gotten sick and it died after using thc vapes that they bought and regulated stores. these are the cdc or the fda has an idea of whether it's an adult dent in the vaping or it may be
11:27 pm
high potency near pure thc itself which is i lung damaging. both the fda and the cdc has had to people, don't vaped thc and that's the message that should be communicated by the public health authorities, by the states, and by the media. but because everyone loves marijuana so much right now it's getting a little bit lost. >> laura: it's big money. so you've got people who are against legalization, and this basically they bought his support for the wheat industry. is stuff that is toxic for our children. in some cases it's violent outbursts. i want to put up a picture of ricky d'ambrosio, a northern california man forced into a medically induced coma due to vaping.
11:28 pm
thankfully he is now back home. many others are not. some with long illnesses, that may never fully heal. they are begging people please don't let your kids do this. make sure you know what your doing. >> it's insane. that we allow this to get to the level it is. humpty dumpty is already broken and you can't put them back to gather rate easily. when it comes to products p like -- we can't just let this industry run rampant. it is undermining our healthcar and undermining public health. >> pot legalization most on though. right?t well wrong. and the results have been tragic. just yesterday three men including two mexican nationals were charged with fatally
11:29 pm
shooting a sheriff's deputy who was responding to a reported theft of an illegal pot grow operation in northern california. >> there is a lot of violence that surrounds these gardens and we see a perfect example of it right now. to say this is just medicine and does no harm and that the licalifornia laws that have been passed have been adequately preparing us and dealing with the situation is a fallacy. >> laura: this situation is beyond a travesty. it will impair the american people, hurt our kids, hurt our ricommunity and all of it. a federal official telling "the ingraham angle" that the california ag office instructed the county t sheriff and not to give i.c.e. agents access to the suspect in order to determine their immigration status.
11:30 pm
fox news contributor tom, how potentially dangerous is what this ag in california is doing? >> i just heard before i came on the show that the u.s. attorney stepped in and was able to get i.c.e. agents in there to talk to these people. u this isn't about what's right or wrong for the community, it's about -- they are not protecting law enforcement and not protecting law-abiding americans. >> laura: these issues kind of dovetail. people say, legal pot will makes stuff so much better, the cartel will cut off their power, goal. cut rate and lower quality, if you can be any lower quality than we already have. and it's cheaper. most of these kids aren't going to pot stores to get really expensive marijuana cupcakes.
11:31 pm
>> when you legalize marijuana, -- people who weren't going to do it, as you said much of it is stronger. if you want a stronger product for cheaper money than you go to the black market. >> laura: w i was talking to chicago pd, and two officers that we did a short ride along with, they went on and on on how the legalization is just destroying communities. these are not political people they say we do it every day, we know what's happening. this will get worse and worse. ditto with the sanctuary status of these communities. the jails as you have noted many times are brimming with illegal immigrants and yet we still havv democrats who ridicule trump first thing we have a wall in colorado.
11:32 pm
>> i hope they are successful because the sanctuary city as i have said many times, they don't protect the immigrant community because as we discussed in montgomery county, nine. >> right now we have no secretary of dhs. right? >> have an acting. >> laura: we have too many acting this. everyone knows i want tom to be at dhs secretary. if i had my pick. you were at the university and you ended up not being able to speak because this happened? [chanting] >> laura: that was -- i think they were actually taking a
11:33 pm
fancy to you. >> two things. one guy was holding up and abolish eyes sign and he spelled abolish wrong. i knew what was going to happen and we didn't clear the stage until security asked us to clear the stage. i'm not pushing back on the security. they told me there was protesting and they asked me if i still wanted to, and i said yes, i won't be deleted. let's really side, cassatt is higher institution called me but by shutting down the speech they were the. so we are going to have a debate. people in the audience don't like what i did. i can explain what i did under obama and what i did under trump
11:34 pm
free speech rights for people with whom they disagree because they can't make a coherent logic-based argument. i'm so glad that you went. tom tolman is never going to be deterred. and the scariest haunted house in america. sequels no one asked for and another biden blunder. that's so rude of raymond arroyo having all the details. the friday folly is next. i am totally blind. and non-24 can throw my days and nights out of sync, keeping me from the things i love to do. talk to your doctor, and call 844-214-2424. oh, wow. you two are going to have such a great trip. yeah, have fun!

11:40 pm
no one has ever made it through this experience and i think i have an idea why. >> i want out. this is bad karma. [screaming] >> do you not lesson? >> i feel so crazy right now. this is a joke. this is a horrible joke. >> laura: and i say something? people have got to find another way to get jazzed up. if this is what it takes to get your adrenaline going, is there a list of prerequisites to enter the dash i it's a completed spos physical, doctors letter? and what else, a background check? >> up background check provided by them. if you have to have proof of medical insurance and assigned to, detailed a 40 page waiver.
11:41 pm
>> laura: lawyers wrote it. >> here's my question. people don't buy a house with 40 page documents. i don't know about you but if people are going to touch me in the dark, i would like dinner first. i don't like these things. never liked them and i think i have been to one and i wanted to punch somebody that touched my daughter. >> and i'm just tough enough there are a pair of the spine tingling reboots coming. whoopi goldberg, sister act. they played the role 27 yearso.
11:42 pm
ago. >> the original dolores is back. a little older, a little seasoned, but really kind of out there. >> the musical versions of what jumping jack flash and far behind? >> they kept calling it sister act. >> you said sister act, rather than sister act, and i told you it was one word. anyway, everyone needs to know they have raised the age of the lead character and probably lowered the song. and now. they may be looking for a new trio of what she sister is. there is confusion about whethe the original sisters will be returning. that movie is 26 years old. they may be looking for a new trio of witchy sisters.
11:43 pm
>> those are only really gorgeous attractive which is. you can't have them, they're al beautiful so that wouldn't work. reboot mania, i think we've talked about this for 20 years. >> i am fresh out of ideas. >> the audience wants these people to recreate the magic of yesterday are. it's bad for the performer and it's really bad for audiences. next week we get into biden's latest. >> laura: raymond, thanks so much.it and, go saints. up next, i'll billionaire george soros is changing the american electorateo one local race at a time. a "the ingraham n angle" investigation, don't miss it next.
11:44 pm
11:45 pm
11:46 pm
11:47 pm
>> laura: george soros has been quietly working behind the scenes for decades but now he

has a new goal. they spent the last few years financing a campaign of far left prosecutors with the goal of transforming how laws are enforced, or not enforced. now, soros faxed the public in just a safety pact which works hand-in-hand with the justice collaborative, a liberal group that advocates not prosecuting serious crimes. this group also likens incarceration to slavery. soros pumped in at least $2.724 million california d.a. race is back in 2018. the paper also reported that he spent 16,000,017 county races across the country since 2014. his local election spending
11:49 pm
spree, it didn't stop there. this year he is targeting to virginia county's, not far from where we are broadcasting from tonight. joining me now are two candidates thatro he is trying o take out. jonathan fahey, commonwealth attorney for fairfax county and nicole. it all right jonathan, what kind of candidates but she was unseated from someone with no experience. but what's going on here? >> i'm running because the incumbent, ray morrow, the democrat, the types of candidates he is our candidates that my opponent has been doing
11:50 pm
everything in virginia courts. he is running on criminal justice reform but it is essentially the underlying theme is to delegitimize my entire system. and he is running on the ideas of not prosecuting certain crimes, that all of our -- our whole system is not legitimate. >> i want to put up the dossier. and it's a resume of little experience. they graduated law school in 2010, he had a brief stint as a federal prosecutor and, that flags areas of systemic discrimination and implement solutions to fix those inequalities. and what they do not prosecute
11:51 pm
entire of crime just as been enjoying a declining violent crime rate. so the commonwealth attorney that's the most important prosecutor in the entire large swath and york county loudoun county is one of the mosttoim important counties in e country as is fairfax county. >> what that means is you have prosecutors who are now not interested in community safety not interested in victims rights and protecting our communities. what they are interested in is weaponizing these local prosecutors offices to try to push the local agenda. >> so it's bypassing the state legislature in trying to affect policy change, through executive prioritization or executive act action. so i have that correct? >> that's exactly right. they are not prosecuting certain theft offenses, not prosecuting certain crimes in school. and now tell us what the crescent effect is.
11:52 pm
and that's really 2018. george soros candidate, larry krasner in philadelphia as a district attorney. since then, the murder rate went up 10% and that might not seem like a lot unless you are one of the 35 people that lost a mother, a father, a son or a brother. that's amazing and this has happened when crime has been going down other places. philadelphia is a total disaster. >> laura: it's a nightmare. >> the cops and prosecutors are at war with each other.
11:53 pm
we have the safest large county in america and he wants to bring philadelphia to fairfax county. we have a great attorney and we have a great police department. >> laura: people around the country, i want to emphasize this. we talk a lot on this show about national politics. it's important and it's an impeachment work going on, we have budget fights about military deployments and pharaoh, faraway countries. this is all important and recover it. we must occasionally drill down to what's happening on the local and state level because this is where all the mischief is made of. not only with your tax dollars but it affects the safety, and the overall sense of community. do we have to remember that she was given in 2016, $300,000?
11:54 pm
is putting a lot of money in these local races. he's not concerned with what happens in loudoun county with whether mothers are murdered or children are, he doesn't care about that. that's exactly what he's trying to do. there's an election now in fairfax, in arlington and loudoun county where it used to be 20,000, or $30,000 used to be what a candidate would have to spend. now, you are looking at millions of dollars. >> people don't understand, this isn't fairfax and loudoun county. this is going to come to a locality near you. the people of loudoun and the people of fairfax are going to make the right decisions but you all have to hit hard. there is no patty-cake with soros. you have to call it what it is.
11:55 pm
it's an open door for criminals in these counties if you elect these people. remember those names, i expect great things from both of you. jonathan and nicole, thanks so much. coming up, beto o'rourke has a new plan for your guns and it's the last bite. i recommend applying topical relievers first. salonpas lidocaine patch blocks pain receptors for effective, non-addictive relief. salonpas lidocaine. patch, roll-on or cream. hisamitsu.
